I am still alive and thanks to close friends, commissioners and those that donated to the gofundme, we managed to evade eviction!

In other positive news, I have been slowly getting through my owed que and will now begin to focus on those who have been waiting the longest ( you know who you are ;w; )
I have also gotten a new job that pays a few cents less than my old one but I am back on a nice 37.5 hour schedule along with consistent shifts.
For the most part I will be working Tuesday - Saturday from either 10am - 6pm or 1:30pm - 9pm.
It's a grocery job, but I get a nice savings on my groceries so I really am happy and blessed to have this job.
The only draw back is the payment schedule is quite strange so due to the timing of my orientation, I will not get my first check until the 30th.

So if anyone wants me to draw their pets, character or anything, please check out my commissions! I am still running the cheap quickie special for the time being until we get out of this rut.

I will also note that next month Caz and I are planning to move out from the current hell hole we are in. So if I go quiet in the next month, that will be why.

So we have finally received a termination notice. It is not the end of the world and I am making myself not freak out over this.
I just had an amazing interview with a place that I am hoping to get hired by. They offer 37 hours a week with a steady schedule that will hopefully stop of us from constantly being in this repeated situation.

I have enough money on my end to pay my half, but unfortunately we are still short of the total that we need.
Some of the money had to be used towards electricity, internet and the phone bill which is why I currently have around $715 of the 1853 needed.

2024 is still proving to be a rollercoaster. With the good there still seems to be alot of bad. While I was able to find a new job, due to circumstances from those above my manager and outside of the restaurant I have been getting minimal hours, at best 10-15 a week which has made it near impossible to balance with working on commissions as I had hoped.

With bills constantly coming in, I am once again growing concerned and near desperate to try and get us out of the hole we have been in since October, but I do not know if we will be able to.
I feel as if I keep grasping at straws with no true results other than simply scraping by to the next month.

​Which is why I have updated the goal for my kofi to try and focus on our remaining time here at this apartment as well as hopefully getting a new one that is more affordable and not as overblown in price.
To be frank we pay nearly 925 per person. At the rate I am going with my current job, it takes 2 whole checks minimum just to cover that.

I hope you are having a lovely Thursday. Just updating you all here that I am slowly getting through my queue, been having some mental ups and downs with everything that has been going on but there might be some light at the end of the tunnel.

For the last week or so I have been interviewing with a local cafe and I might be in a good position to get hired by them!
Before I can go in for any potential work, though, I have to have a food handlers card and non-slip shoes which is why I am reopening some of the cheap pet/ oc commissions again.

I am nearly finished with the last two from February whilst any other commissions that remain are from my usual intake.
With that stated, this new job will allow me to have a better work life balance since it will not be a full 40 hour work week nor will it be as stressful as the last job.

Hello all! I am still alive, barely, but alive.

As of today I am now without a job. While this means that there are now alot of unknowns I am also partially numb / ok with this. Do I wish I had lost the job?
No, but this means that my schedule is now open to finally working through my commission cue without having to listen to angry baby boomers cry and sob over their $150+ shoes.
The moment I become one, please someone pull me aside for an intervention.

We tried talking to the management since this is our first offense in literally the nearly 4 years we've lived here, but the management is new and doesn't care.
all they care about is getting their money and unfortunately this state does not have renter's protection or assistance.

This year has just been a giant dumpster fire one thing after another. caznir and I have been thrown a curveball as we are needing to find a new place ASAP.
We thought we had more time but turns out our lease ends in little over a month from now so I will be focusing on that.

Hello all, back again with a few announcements. I am finally on a little vacation! From now until the 10th I will be on vacation and away from my day job.
This means I will be able to focus on commissions and a few other things that I've had to put on the back burner since I started my job.

My plan and schedule is to spend the next few days just relaxing and doing things that I want to do. Then from friday to sunday I will be dedicating my time to catching up on my owed commissions and churning out as much as possible.
Next monday and tuesday will be dedicated to personal art for myself and finally Wednesday will be my rest day before going back to my job.

Hello! It's been a minute, I hope you all are doing well in this crazy world we live in.
So first things first, I got a recent upgrade in my job and will be starting my new position on Monday. It is a full time 40 hour job with 3 days off.
This is one of the reasons why i've been a little bit backlogged on commissions but not to worry, I will be following my TOS and getting your commissions out in a timely manner.
I am planning to take advantage of my days off to try and catch up on my owed work and thank you all for being so patient with me as I adjust to this new schedule.

Soooo I've been a bit quiet because we have been in the midst of moving. Not only that, buuuuuut Cazzi and myself have both acquired new rigs which as you know means moving all the files n other shiz to the new boyo.

As the title suggests, this is an update journal of what's been going on.
In short, the reason why i've been quiet since around christmas time is because I finally made my move from Alabama to Portland, Oregon and am now living with my partner,  korvahk <333
As you know, moving can be quiet hectic, especially since a few days after the move I managed to snag a job so that has also taken some adjusting to along with many other things.
It's honestly amazing living where I can actually walk to the grocery stores and to places to eat. Instead of having to worry about driving 70+ miles a day, I take the Max/ Transit to get to long distance places, like my job, annnd i finally have a new desk and chair that i'm able to utilize as my space in our shared room |D

Sadly atm we are still without internet but we are hoping to remedy that soon. For the moment i'm having to hotspot with my phone which doesn't get that great of reception which is also another to blame for my absence. That being said, i'm hoping to try and get internet within this month, fingers crossed of course, so I can start streaming again! I certainly miss it and I miss getting to chat with you guys.

To my current commissioners, thank you as always for being so patient, I'm hoping to have all owed work finished by the end of this month so long as nothing else pops up.

Hi guys. Sorry that I rarely seem to post or update unless it's over commissions or when I stream ;w; - bows profusely-

Buuuut reason for that is a few months ago I left my job as a Hostess and have since become a photographer at the Space n Rocket Center.
We deal with both getting photography on the museum side as well as working with Space camp covering everything from simulators, graduations, missions and other various aspects of Space Camp goodness.
So that has been taking up a majority of my time, adjusting to a new work environment and ect.
This is great n all, but i'm wanting to adjust more to try and balance it with my commission work on the side.

My goal is to at some point move out of my parents house and live with some of my college buds that I've known for years. Basically these guys are like a second family or should I say I consider them more of a family than my extended family >.> Annnnd the bigger goal waaaay down the road is to move to Portland with my dear Cazzie. But both situations will take a crap ton of money, smart savings and me working my ass off lol.

Speaking of which, for those who were in my stream on Thursday, I promised you guys that I would stream tonight. That may or may not happen due to the weather here conflicting with my internet connection.
For the moment it's working fine enough for me to be on here, but it's been buggy all night. After I post this, I will reply to the notes you have sent and confirm your commission.
I know it's a beaten horse, but I really want to try to save and be serious about finally becoming independent. I love my parents and I appreciate them letting me stay for free, but it's starting to grow a strain in our relationship.
