Posted 5 years agoMeow-hoo everyone, just wanted to give everyone a heads up that my commissions are going to be closed for a little while. Things have been very stressful lately and I really need to take some time to reorient myself. Thank you all for the support and I hope to be back in commission-shape soon!

1)Separate channels for each artist to talk with customers and potential clients
2)Set your own "hours of operation" during the event
3)A general discussion forum for those who just want to chat

I have been sick since the start of the convention I'm working at and had a death in the family on top of it. I will need a couple days to reorient myself from it all. Posted 6 years agoDue to recent (bullshit) changes Etsy is making to their platform, I'll most likely be closing my shop there by the end of the month. I'm currently working on getting my own direct site opened up, but in the meantime I will be searching for alternative platforms for "direct" sales.
And to my other creators/crafters, I strongly suggest you check your email if you sell through Etsy. They are basically going to hold your shops hostage if you don't start offering free shipping. More specifically, only shops that offer free shipping will get "priority placement" in search results starting at the end of this month. And to make it worse, they're suggesting that WE, THE CRAFTERS AND CREATORS, build shipping into our prices on ALL of our items to compensate, essentially cheating customers who would buy multiple items from your shop out of more money. And of course, they're not going to distinguish between a regular increase in rate and a shipping cost increase, so they're STILL going to deduct the same percentage from each sale, which means you lose more money on a sale.

T.O.S. for Commissions

-I will not work with anyone under the age of 18.
-I reserve the right to turn away any customer I feel is underage.
Payment:
-I will only accept payment through PayPal
-All commissions must be paid in full to receive the finished product
-Payment on commissions must be made within a week of the request to keep your slot open
-I am open to payment plans
-If you wish to use a payment plan, 25% of commission must be paid up front to hold your slot
Returns:
-Full refunds will only be issued if I have not started work on your commission
-If you require a refund after I have started a commission, you will receive a partial refund as well as the unfinished project if you wish
-All pre-made sales are final
-If anything is wrong with the product, i will fix all damages at no cost if returned within the first 2 weeks of receiving
Commissions:
-I must have a reference sheet for all art commissions of specific characters
-Artistic Freedom commissions are available with no need for a reference sheet
-Please specify if you wish to have your name, your fursona name, or an object added to your commission
-I am currently only taking SFW commissions (nothing with nudity, sex, gore, etc.), but this is subject to change
-All artwork is property of myself and the commissioner and cannot be used or altered unless given express permission from both parties
-All crocheted commissions must use one of the yarn types listed in the album description
-I reserve the right to cancel or refuse a commission
Will and Won't:
Won't:
-I won't take a commission if you attempt to haggle or otherwise complain about pricing and you will be blacklisted
-Unless it is an artistic freedom commission, I won't work from only a description
-I won't do hard deadlines. I will do my best to finish your commission in a timely manner, but I will not offer a rushed and potentially sub-par product
product
-I won't sell mass produced prints of commissioned artwork unless granted explicit permission from the customer
Will:
-I will give updates as requested on a commission within reason
-I will show a WIP sketch before proceeding to outline and color
-I will provide a tracking number for all items shipped
