Gah, what a year: Three close family members passed away (one was a dog, but it still counts), the rise and fall of a relationship with a person I wish I had never spoken to in the first place, exhaustive and fruitless job search with student loan payments creeping up quickly, stress induced illnesses at least once every other month (I'm not one who normally gets sick easily), and when it wasn't huge things it was lots of little things going up that sneaky hate spiral.

Only two notable good things happened this year: My Fox moved in with me, and I decided to go back to school for a program I'm actually excelling in at the moment. Yeah, I'll be more in debt at the end of it, but I'll sure as hell be more prepared to get a job that'll let me pay those debts than I am now.

Anywho, Happy New Year folks. May 2011 be better for everyone.

So I've decided, that, save for a couple of particular pieces that I've already discussed with their owners, I am suspending commission progress until the end of the year.

My new course in school is starting on the 8th and I've been inundated with preparations for that stacked on top of my already sizable amount of anxiety about going back to college in the first place. I'm just suddenly slammed with all sorts of responsibilities to all sorts of important people and I need to lighten the load or I'll go nuts. Email tag is more maddening than phone tag...this is fact.

Now let me make this absolutely clear: I am not halting production completely, if I find the time I will work on your pieces and you may see them before the end of the year. I'm sorry it's taken this long, you have no idea how sucky this year has been and going back to school is one of the few rays of hope I have left of coming out of my overall situation on top. So guys, can you find it in your hearts to cut the hedgewolf some slack for a bit? He won't forget you and he definitely didn't run away with your money.

Once my schedule levels out and I know what I'm dealing with I can make time for art and with luck get back on track.

...trying to reestablish a sleep pattern has royally cut into my commission work schedule this week. I've either been asleep during the times when I'd rather be working or so tired from just generally having a completely fucked up schedule to feel like doing much of anything of any use to anybody.

A while back, someone posed the question whether or not it was possible to get crisp inking lines in photoshop (similar to those found in say, Sai or OC) without photoshop's inherent soft, anti-aliased (read "blurry) look to the lines.

There was an answer to this question, something having to do with the Brush menu under the Texture tab...I completely forgot about it until I reinstalled Photoshop and realized that I had lost the setting that I had made for it.

...does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? I can post examples if necessary.
