Really looking forward to Megaplex this year. It's going to be busy. Looks like I'll only need to make my tail and ears. Very excited for the opportunity to work as staff for such a great event.

I'm knee deep in Camp NaNoWriMo, and it's gooey. My story is completely random but I seem to be throwing it together better than some of the things I thoroughly plan out. 5k words into my 20k goal.
Been driving around to local fabric stores looking for just the right color for my partial fursuit. I'm going to be remaking my ears, tail, and trying for 5-finger hand paws. I've seen some brilliant ones on here and the extra dexterity (along with grip paw pads) would be perfect for juggling clubs.
And, I'm pregnant! Huzzah! Due in late November so lets all keep it Hush-Hush, K?

Well Fuck... That's disappointing.

So my outfit for megacon is all ready, except for the ears which should be done this weekend. I'm really excited even though I hadn't been able to practice juggling with my rings very much. It's pretty windy around here lately. I am working on the clubs with some help from an experienced juggler. I watch this guy juggle and just want to BE THAT GOOD. Husband-man is jealous that I want to learn from this guy. If he knew how to juggle then I'd let him teach me instead but we don't have all the same interests. Husband-man plays dejembi and those kinds of drums at drum circles. I'm just not into that though.
It's all gonna be ok, megacon is soon and its gonna be a blast.
In other news, I'm hella excited to be getting the pieces of my fur suit. I'm waiting to wear it to the next spin jam in Tampa. First Sunday of every month, Florida furrys!

I feel like the tax return money went too quickly. I look back at what I bought and the only thing I am happy for is this brand new king sized mattress. And my car repairs, everyone needs a working car. HusbandMan is going to Shpongle tomorrow. He bought tickets and a hotel room. We are also heading to Megacon for a day next month. I'm not going to the concert and I'm still not thrilled about Megacon, it's just not my kinda thing. But, I've never been to a con so, who knows really. Still working on my red fox yarn tail I want to wear there. Holy crap these things take FOREVER. Props to anyone who can finish even one.

I'm going to MegaCon this year. I'm really happy cause my Hubby wants to go and there are gonna be some epic guests there. BUT, it's the same weekend as Furry Weekend Atlanta. Guess I'll just keep doing what I do and maybe next year I can make it to my first Furry Convention. Fingers crossed.

I asked a close friend of mine to try to draw my avatar. He is a great artist but most of his stuff is kind of twisted. Think Jhonen Vasquez. Yeah. I'm hoping that his years drawing and graduating from Full Sail will help him draw it, but I saw the rough draft today. Not at all what I was wanting. Maybe I'm being too picky but, hey, this is me we're talking about :P

I'm still struggling to find my nitch in the area of artsy things. I'm trying my hand at making a yarn tail for my hyena costume. It's taking a lot of time but it is actually looking pretty nice. If I finish it with time to spare i'll probably make the fox tails for my MegaCon outfit. Speaking of which, My juggling rings haven't come in yet. I'm practicing with the clubs (which is wicked fun and hard) but I need to get good at the rings to be able to really wow at the convention.

I'm making the majority of the gifts I'm giving this year (I'M POOR). Lots of tying hemp and crocheting things so I figured to offer my services. I've been practicing my Amigurumi again and need practice. I'm willing to crochet your furry, just let me know if you want a little stuffed you.

I've been super busy lately. Crafting hats, hemp jewelry, blankets, baby slings, and,oh yeah, I had a baby. She's perfect. Almost 2 months old now.
Babies are super interesting and fun to teach and carry around and take care of. It's epic. But now I'm back. Ready to make more hats and even post some of our stream punk accessories to see if anyone wants to buy it.
Luna (my sweet baby girl) and I have been feeling crafty. Hope you all like what we show you.

It was a great holiday and I am sad to see it go. Well, I'm not exactly seeing it leave just yet since I'm still on vacation but the end IS nigh. I'm still jobless (sadness) so most of my time has been revolving around crocheting things here and there; baby blankets, 'yote hats, afghans for blanketless aunts, and bear hats for nice bank tellers (pics to come). I have time on my hands between prenatal doctor visits and calling businesses i've applied to so: If anyone wants a custom Furry Hat made, I'm taking orders. In the meantime, I'm making an orange and white fox hat. It isnt made with fuzz yarn but it is cozy as hell and the pattern is my absolute favorite. Any takers, just let me know.

Well, I've been let go from my job since I'm pregnant and "am no longer able to perform my duties as needed". No worries, I guess. Gotta stay positive and do the job hunt thing. While I'm waiting for a call back, I need to pull in some extra cash. I've spending my time making Hats (and putting ears on them!) and am willing to take on a few custom orders. I have a few examples of what I can make in my gallery but I have many more pictures I need to take, and two small projects I'm finishing up. Let me know if this interests anyone and I'll post another Journal with details of what I can make and costs. I'm also making cute hats for people who just want to point and say "I want THAT one". I'll have pictures of these soon too.
