The powers that be have decided that entire Pokemon and Digimon species are now to be considered cub, and therefore banned from the site.
Do they say exactly which species? Of course not! That would be too clear and obvious a rule!

Is Riolu banned? Probably!
Squirtle? I guess so.
Impmon? Sure.
Pikachu? Maybe!
There are ~5,000 Adult rated pieces of Riolu art on the site, so... good luck to everyone deleting all of that.

Honestly, from experience, it's going to come down to "Does the mod who sees the report against your Pikachu like / know you?". It's an arbitrary line drawn specifically to be vague, so that any nebulous undesirables can be removed.

Obviously the FA top brass can run the site however they like, make whatever decisions they want to make, and incompetently implement whatever policies they see fit. It's their boat, we're all just sailing in it. I'd have been sad about this at one point, but the road FA's been walking down has been very obvious for a very long time.

Once I'm inevitably banned, I'll be on InkBunny, Twitter, E621, etc.

It feels incredibly dumb to have a fursona I don't feel capable of drawing, so I'm gonna fix that.

Brian Bedford, the voice actor for Disney's Robin Hood, passed away today. I know a lot of people have been hit hard by the recent passing of Lemmy, David Bowie and Alan Rickman, and I felt some of that too, but this is different. Disney's Robin Hood has a special place in our fandom. For those of us of a certain age, it was our gateway. It awakened something in us that we didn't know existed, and maybe didn't understand.

While it was originally released many years before I was born it came to home video in the year of my birth, and more importantly was re-released on VHS as a Walt Disney Classic when I was 7. I'm not sure I've re-watched any other piece of media as many times as I watched that VHS tape, and I was smitten from the first time to the last.

Memory is a funny thing, so I don't know if Robin was my first crush, but I feel like he was. His rakish smile, sharp wit and carefree attitude combined with a smooth but solid drawl to make him the fox of my dreams.

Another month goes by! Sorry for the art slowdown, I had a holiday, and the PC and tablet I use for drawing are both  darksilence's, who's had even more holiday. I should be firmly back in the saddle starting next week.

We all know Rule 34 of the Internet: There is porn of it, no exceptions.

However, my favourite rule is actually Rule 35: If no porn is found at the moment, it will be made.

Rule 34 is stated as a fait accompli, an axiom that requires no thought to accept. Rule 35 gives lie to the presumption of Rule 34, and more importantly speaks the truth that Rule 34 dispenses with: Porn does not spring forth fully formed from the ether, porn has to be made.

It's now been one month since I posted this, the first thing I'd drawn in 20 years.

And don't mistake me for a lapsed artist, that previous effort was some scribbling of Bart Simpson when I was 10 -.-

I never expected to enjoy drawing so much!

I'm back for Disney World! Florida is lovely this time of year, except for the occasional Tropical Storm. Still, getting rained on in Florida is like taking an impromptu fresh water shower, and I love showers, so that's fine.

I haven't been to Disney since I was a kid, so this was a pretty big nostalgia trip for me, and  darksilence has never been before, so it was fun to show him around.

We stayed in The Animal Kingdom Lodge and I can heartily recommend it to anyone thinking of a Disney vacation, especially if you're a big fan of antelope or zedonks... so many antelope, so many zedonks.

Daft Punk's new album Random Access Memories is out... kinda. It's streamable for free on iTunes, and I've had it on most of the day at work.

Get Lucky is obviously the stand out, and it's clear why that was released as a single before hand, but I also really like Within, Beyond, Lose Yourself to Dance and Doin' It Right.

It's not my favourite Daft Punk album, but I do really like it, and as always it plays better as a whole than as individual tracks.

More porn that I paid people to make:

I should just set up a standing order to  argonvile's giant money vault. We had great fun at a private slave stream, and a bunch of hot and sticky Koopa porn was the result. This was seriously the best, so good that I already have another slave stream arranged!

Speaking of standing orders, I also got two YCH commissions from  lizardlars featuring Tygre. First the slutty tiger met and 'got to know' a pair of very open minded dragon brothers, before heading over to a nearby beach where he found himself in the middle of a bunch of horny lizards. By the time they're done he's going to be one sticky kitty >:3

I was on a serious Nook bender, which is all  argonvile's fault. Fortunately he was happy to facilitate my obsession, by having the little Tanooki stuff himself full of horse-dildo at my request. You're meant to be selling those Nook, not using them

Unbe-fucking-lievably there has been more snow since my last journal. It should not snow this much in the UK in March!

At least it's also been vaguely sunny, but spring should be hotter and wetter than this

Quite a lot of the work put into the last (full) animation carries over into the next, but I'm still at the asset creation rather than animation stage, so it's a little ways away.

New commissions, yay!

 candyfoxy drew a wonderfully colourful YCH commission featuring Tygre and Lucky, his rather kinky pet Vulpix, getting frisky under the moonlight.

Another YCH commission, this time from  dog-bone, finds Tygre squeezed underneath the powerful frame of a Gorgonopsid, and getting his rump absolutely filled with Dino-DNA

Fuck you Winter, Summer is coming

So the next in my series of Valoo animations is done, but FA absolutely refuses to finish the submission upload process (giving the following delightful error: Database Error - For security reasons, this error will not be shown. Please check the website logs for more information.) This is despite the file being slightly smaller than the previous two animations, which were a struggle to upload but worked eventually. The uploader sometimes breaks a few times when trying to submit big files like this, but after an hour (and three browsers) of trying, I'm giving up for now.

EDIT: I of course come back the next day and everything works first time, woo.

InkBunny - SoFurry

PC still slightly broken, shower now also broken and leaking into kitchen, work being super hectic. None of these things are conducive to animating, but I've been doing a lot of prep work.

The last two Valoo animations have been composed of less than 10 imported images each, this next one is already up to 40 and I'm not even done preparing them all.

I have a good feeling about getting it finished by the end of February

No more snow, just a whole lot of wind and rain. British weather is delightfully fickle.

The next animation in my Valoo series is underway, my PC is mostly behaving itself (as long as I can get it to start in the first place), hopefully it'll be fairly smooth sailing.

However, the way I animate gets ludicrously more complex the more characters I have to deal with, and I'm trying a few new things, so don't hold your breath
