Posted 7 years agoSo, what can I say? Well not sure how to really put things, but anyway I'll go ahead and do a brief update here.
For those of you who remember me from days past. I am sorry I left the community with little, to no explanation. I am sorry about that, and hope that some of you who remember me, knew me can forgive me for that. If you want to reconnect feel free to say hi! I miss a lot of my old friends, and know for a fact that I burnt some bridges with people just given attitude changes, how they acted around me etc. That sucks, but It's nobody's fault but my own, and I don't blame them.
Long story short:
I fell in love! Sounds great right? Well unfortunately it was no fairy tale, it was more of a nightmarish, foolish, miserable crappy situation.
I was so desperate/lonely (overly so) that I made the mistake of convincing myself that I was in love. That is bad enough on it's own right? But wait that's not all! This was quite literally with the first person who showed an inkling on interest in me on a more than friendship level. We talked, things went on from there as they tend to do, and within a very short time I knew he was the one! Well turned out that things were pretty good for the first few years. We were in a long distance relationship which sucked (1,000+ miles distant) He traveled to me once, I traveled to him twice over a period of 5 years.
I could go on and on about that, but like I said I'd try to make this brief. Basically things did not work out. I came to be very miserable because with him, I felt that I could not be myself. Got to a very bad point for me on a depression/suicidal level. Finally I decided that with the way things were going, and after several attempts to break things up, every one of which he successfully got me to change my mind on, convincing me to stay with him, making promises, and so on. I got to where I loathed myself, and started to hate life. This was all my fault for being an idiot and thinking that everything would work out and life would be great. I finally after almost 2 months of not hearing anything from him (and several months of barley talking) I decided that it was time to call that quits, and drop all communications .Even with the events leading up to that, breaking up was honestly one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life. That is how messed up I was. Could go on but I'm already probably putting you to sleep!
As far as why I left the community, and a lot of you never heard from me is because of how dedicated to him I allowed myself to become. He hated the furry community, and most of the other things that I am into which he associated with the furry community. As a show of love to him, I changed my life. Quit participating in the local furry community, deleted all my accounts, and basically distanced myself from my life.
Anyway, that's all in the past now. I've moved on, and I am much happier than I was. Unbelievable difference in how I view the world now. That experience has no doubt changed myself, and the way I view things. After all that crap I'm back at square one. Few (one actual local) friend, and still just a lonely, desperate idiot, but now with more life experience.
So again sorry for those of you who I just vanished on, or may have upset. I hope you can forgive me, and feel free to say hi, or reconnect if you want. I'll leave it up to you as I can't blame anyone if they don't want to reconnect. Lesson learned on my end, and I hope things have been going as well as they can for most of you!

Posted 13 years agoSo now that pot is legal for recreational use in Colorado, and Washington, we only have 48 states to go. 49 If you count Puerto Rico which is going to be the 51st state. Some interesting stuff came up in this voting season. In my opinion we need to make pot legal in all states. It's a waste of money fighting this drug war, and I rather see someone high on pot than drunk. Why? Because I've been around high, and drunks, and although I don't smoke pot, and doubt I would even if it were legal, I would totally rather deal with high people. Not to mention all the revenue the states, and feds would make in taxes.

Someone just tried to run over my dog.
Posted 13 years agoI let my dog out to go potty.when I opened the door to let him back in he Iwas right across the road from the house. I don't usually worry about him because we don't have heavy traffic whatsoever other then the occasional person going through the scrap yard. as I was just getting ready to take a shower after I opened the door,I heard a motor rev up then peel out on the dirt, then steered towards my dog. He missed him by what lookd like just a few inches, then continued to speed of as I stepped outside yelling at him wearing my birthday suit.
I bet if that person realized that I see my dog as a member of my family, I will kill to defend my family, and 9 of 10 times I'm wearing a pistol (yes even in my own home) He probably would not have done that.
I think from now on anytime I let my dog out I'm going to be standing outside with my AK-47. I'm so pissed right now it isn't even funny.

I made quite a few friends, learned some harsh lessons, lost some (if not most) friends that I once made, and have really kinda been losing interest in the whole furry community. Something happened with my skype where it erased all my contacts, only had a couple people who wanted me back on contacts with skype, so I don't even really use that anymore. That coupled with my phone needing replaced, not having a backup of my contacts to get a hold of people, to keep in touch kinda ruined things.
In my personal life I haven't even gotten to hang out with friends in quite some time. Some from the old school days seem to just flat out ignore me as if I am invisible. Got that reminder yesterday when I came face to face with one of my buddies, said hey whats up? Got no reply and he just kept walking. As a result of that, and several other events I've become somewhat anti social anymore.
So anyway not trying to do a drama dance etc. But I am going to try to make more of an effort to be more social lol. Starting by going to the Coffee meet in Casper on the 15th. Hopefully that will be enough of a kick start to get me out of this anti social groove im in lol. If not.. well who knows?

Skype erased contacts
Posted 13 years agoSo I log on to skype this morning and all my contacts are GONE. I don't know if I did something by accident or what happened. It's been some time since I have really talked to anyone on there anyway other than like two of you, so I may just quit using it all together.
The few of you that do decide to strike up a conversation from time to time more often than once every 6 months or so lol have my phone number and can contact me there anyway so its not really a big deal to me.
However I am not going to drop skype cold turkey, instead I will leave it up to any one that reads my journal on here since you were all the people I ever chatted with anyway to add me to your contacts, or leave me your skype name in a comment on this journal, or personal note if you don't want that public knowledge. If you add me on your end still leave a comment so I know who you are Thanks.

Posted 14 years agoSo maybe it was bad timing, or inappropriate because of holidays, but since everyone was together, at least all my immediate family. I came out as gay to them. It went really well, and I'm glad it's over. Anyway hope everyone is having good holidays.

FA Complaints
Posted 14 years agoThis is in no way directed towards anyone in particular, nor is it intended to offend anybody. You are certainly free to have your own opinion on issues with FA, or anything else for that matter. This is just my opinion on things
I have seen a lot of complaints about FA being slow lately. Yeah it is slow, and there are some issues. But unless you are one of the few people that donate to FA, or one of the people who dedicate ton's of their time to keep this up and running.

It's an amazing free site that allows people to connect with eachother, as well as display, and view art, music, story's ect.

Posted 14 years agoOkay so messing around with Google maps I figured I would see if I could get directions from my house in Wyoming.. To Lafang China, where i recently won a sword from Ebay.. well Step 17 as well as step 34 May be just a little difficult. However it is possible to leave my house and get there without flying. Here are the most difficult steps. And this is an exact quote from Google Maps
Step 17. Kayak across the Pacific Ocean *2,756 mi (To Hawaii)
33. Kayak across the Pacific Ocean *3,879 mi (To Japan, then eventually a ferry over to China from there)
Estimated time for the one way trip 37 Days 1 Hour XD
