I'm kind of curious myself as to what games others play out there on a normal basis. I mean yea I played quite a few over the years but only a couple keep me coming back for more, and I guess the same could be said for a few of us out there.

In my case here is my list.

Team Fortress 2 (not as common these days though)

So what are yours?

The gaming industry definition of a MMO is Massive Multi-Player Online. Any medium that offers interaction with a large amount of people at the same time. Be it IMVU, Second Life, Online RPGs, and FPS games falls under that classification. Due to the amount of people you can interact with at a single time, like the old chat rooms. minus one on one interactions in gaming or messaging like how some RTS games are where you can only fight one on one.

I found that interesting as it's a popular belief that things like MUDDs, MUCKs, and Second Life are classified as MMOs, but those that use it at times do not think of it as such. I often wonder about this as there really isn't any difference between how MMO's are defined with what they do. The interesting thing is that it is the MMORPG that the term originates from. In fact the first game to be classified as a MMO is the original EverQuest which was released back in March 16, 1999, and still in wide use today even with the outdated graphics. Oddly EQ2 has been updating there's with the new content zones recently.

At any rate, that was besides the point. The point is should we continue to ignore what the industry defines a MMO, or continue with our own things where we tend to think of things like Second Life not a MMO when it meets the very definition of one. I'm posting this as I am very curious as to what others think of this, and interested in what others think.

Looking back at my life I got a few things I rememeber.

1981 I read my first furry comic, and found a RPG I like that had a furry like race in it that was well done.

1986 With my mom starting to work colleges and my dad getting promoted to Dept Commisioner of NYPD, and me in High School as a hard core metal head. I got introduced to BBS boards, and found the fandom there. I started working to try and help promote things in it, artists, furmeets and such. Though I never took credit for it just passed the word.

1995 True internet, got on FurryMUCK for a time as well as Taps, still on the latter.

1996 - Helped found FurryFaire MUCK, which no longer exists in any shape or form.

1997 I joined the US Navy, biggest decision of my life, and one I never regretted.

1998 Deployment to Bosina, only time I had to kill someone, and it was point blank to the face... not a moment I want to repeat. I also needed my finger tip sewn back on.

1999 Left the military, and went to join my folks in Florida, lived with them for about 5 years, then moved to Orlando for about 5 as well. I also had a fight with my mate at the time.. got tired of her trying to manipulate me... I still think fondly of Chantico though.. I think it scared me though as I find it very hard to try and settle down with another since then.. and been having alot of bad luck with them as well.

2008 ~ 2009 WHent homeless, yea I managed to get the semi-truck driving job, but still living out of a truck is not a home.

2010 - WHent Crux, got tired of the folks judging me by appearance and I want someone to like me for me.. Crux proved the best way to do that.

Current - Last year I almost went homeless again, but I got a job and found some folks willing to take me in. Car broke down about 3 weeks ago, but I got the money to get it towed tomorrow to a place that will check it out for free. Just hoping it's a cheep and easy fix.

I was talking to a friend of mine in YIM recently about furries and it's history from what I can recall. No this is not a guy that is a fur I was talking to just a friend. Anyway he then asked when I got in to it.. I had to think and recalled first reading Albedo comics back in 1982, and how I enjoyed playing the furry player race in a RPG game that came out in 1981, so I said 1981. Oddly though It was 1984 I got in to BBS and such. And in some form or another been helping the fandom grow with ideas and some advice. Though officially I will never take credit for anything. I just promoted the ideas I thought where good. In the early 90s I became one of the founding members of the Gryphon Guild, a educational sight on the history, mythology wise, on gryphons. So in 1992 I choose the name Typhon and became the dark gryphon then. So I guess you can say I been a furry back when I was 9 in 1981, and started peeking and taking it more serious when I was 12. Funny note I never found out about the adult stuff till 1996 which was after my college and job corps days. Anyway after talking about this he called me a Elder Gryphon of all things and asked me if my character goes around with a cane reminding of young folks of back in my day...... Ugh.. I'm going to be 40 in Dec.. Still made me wonder if I really am a old fur or not. I don't feel with it, and can still keep up with the newer set I see popping up these days, along with the older set. Eh in the end I don't really care, but I though it important enough to at least get off my chest and share it.

The guild made just for him when from 1 to level 70 in just a day or 2, which broke records. I hang around on Antonia Bayle myself as part of a large RP community, most of whom was there, and are good friends of mine.

I hate to say it but this is not the first time this guy, and yea he's a former roommate who does legally owe money to folks I know and still live with has been trying to bend the truth and remove anyone from pointing that out to him.

With all the job hunting I have done of late, it's been hard to get on here on a regular basis. Things are finally calming down enough for me to to work on being on here again. Though my Poser program is still acting up.

On a side note I also became a guild leader on EQ2's Antonia Bayle server, and also became active in there RP community there. Though I am still a bit upset that the Iksar guild I was part of for a long time disbanded. No real reason other then SWTOR took away the members, which sucks in my opinion. It's actually relaxing and relatively drama/stress free for me. So if anyone here plays that feel free to look up the Gorowyn Militia there.

At any rate hope to hear from folks and still working on the Poser problem I seem to be having. Not to mention thinking about getting a couple of commissions done in the future. Wouldn't mind having some art done of my Sarnak guild leader.

I was noting a few on here in to that, and been messing around on the USPC server myself recently. Wondering if there are any leagues out there I might be interested in, as other then a forum, finding a league to join, villain character btw, is not as easy as other MMOs that have a in game search engine for them.

The reasons are all numerous and to be honest, I saw some things I didn't like. Nothing bad for Ordo just how some of the command choose to treat me in the end. I still honor Ordo, and believe in there founding principals of honor and respect to everyone in the combat community. That will never change. Ordo you guys are still all people I respect and always will. I know some of you don't like my current choice of Vanguard, but there are only a few large militaries left. Ordo, 2142, and Vanguard. We need to learn to let the past be the past, and for the good of the community move on and try to improve our lives. We can have fun raiding each other and the like, but these blockades and such over things that happened years ago needs to end. For the good of the community as a whole. As right now, that is what hurts it.

I was just wondering how hard it would be to make a fursuit head, it's all I want at the moment. As all I plan on doing is a partial. Of course if someone knows a good maker to recommend for a crux head I'm willing to entertain ideas.

Seems like folks that used to post some good art work here have started to head away from FA. The why is simple, rules are becoming more and more strict as to what can and can not be posted on FA. A recent crack down on artists using DAZ and Poser, as well as other non-traditional mediums strike me as odd.

I remember FA's original mantra, to be the best place for furry artists and those that like furry art share and comment on there works. Saddly this recent rules strictness has well, made it anything but the place it it wanted to be. I am not sure if I will post more art on here or not, myself, but this policy enforcement has already driven quite a few to places like sofurry.com and others that don't mind such submissions.

Makes me wonder why we are still using this site, if it is restricting what artists can post here now. Just my 2 cents on the matter. Feel free to discuss.

Okay, it's no secret I been wanting one. Well thanks to a friend of mine, work starts on a partial crux fursuit this comming weekend. I'm hoping to have it done and ready by Morphicon. Heh my frist con since CF 07.. I won't be staying at a hotel, as it's local to me.

Strangest thing I ever seen on youtube.

I got a notice on my door recently saying I was going to be kicked out this weekend of my apartment for not paying for the current months rent. Which with me being in between jobs is kind of understandable regarding the rent, but I just called them and managed to get a extension to the 30th to find someplace to go. Else it goes to court in December.

Either that or come up with $600 to pay the rent, and due to recent problems for me paypal is no longer a option. I have no idea what I am going to do..... Oh and yea I did call regarding assistance, and there sending me info in the mail. So here is hoping.

I'm trying to help a friend find a flash animation he likes that he wants to show his mate. It's some cute one that involved a girl fur sitting on a bed playing some game, and what the male fur in it does that includes things like his ass being spanked, having her chop food, and other silliness.
