SL Club event times
Posted 16 years agoWe currently are planning on having events every Monday, Wed, and Thurs. 4pm to 6pm SLT. Plus we always have a come as you are event (not a contest right now) on Saturdays, and are planning on 7seas events on sundays. As the place picks up we plan on having more events and such. Oh yea as far as tonight is concerned, where giving you free headcrabs! Tonight only!

Depends on where I am in public, not really. At home and with other furries yes I will, although I never got the whole making animal sounds thing.

Pedo and bestiality stuff for the most part... I also try to wish to try and make sure that furries are not automatically labels as perverts and sexual deviants. After all we need to judge people for there own actions and behavior, NOT what groups they associate with.

Freedom of speech is what this country (USA) was founded on. So your okay to state those things, but when you try to put others down for expressing there own freedom of speech your also insulting the very country your in and what makes it great... well that's if your American.
*How strongly do you feel about anyone bashing you yourself for your interest based on the media's aspect of what furry is?
Bashing me is fine, hell I got a whole section dedicated to me on Encylopdia Dramatica (90% of it is pure lies to), and I take it all in stride. However there is only one thing that will ever get me mad, and that is you bash on and hurt one of my friends for no good reason. That is when I get pissed.
*We all know furries have a lot of sexual aspects in this fandom, What's your opinion on it?
Every fandom has there own sexual aspects, hell I can't go to a Star Trek convention these days without seeing some art suggesting Kirk and Spock where gay for each other, or something depicting Data and Yarr in some compromising position. So I take it all in stride.

*What is/are your fursona(s)?
My current and main one (due to a personal decision I made recently) has the name I used in the fandom for years, Typhon and is a anubian jackal, the reason is that I love egyptology always have and always will. Now Typhon started out as a gryphon necromancer, which is fine but only because at the time I wanted something unique. Now on to characters I concisder my alt fursonas.
Typhon, Gryphon necromancer and emperor. He started out as a RPG character ( wolfen in Palladium games) then became the gryphon we all know and love (well I love him) via internet roleplay sites called MUCKs. The character while was never really considered my personal fursona became that as it was enjoyable to play a intelligent villian that wasn't a megolmaniac, and more in a time when everyone wanted to RP some good aligned character or some prince or born into it nobility. Typhon started out as a humble warrior form his clan, and earned everything from scratch through actual RolePlay that was not easy to do or pull off.
Lucus Drakeston Jr, Anthro duck with a cybernetic arm. He started out as a fan character for Might Ducks: The Animated Seiries, and is still close to me for personal reason as he is more based on some close issues to me.
There are others I might consider my fursona, but for personal reasons will remain unlisted.

I got in to the whole BDSM thing, even discovering my Bisexual nature and a kink I like that tend to involve groups because of this fandom, so on a personal level I tend to pertain that with this fandom.

Corner thinks it might have been a diabetic heart attack, but is certain he didn't feel any pain when he died.. but the official report is family only. So I can't get at it.

Posted 16 years agoAre there any other anubian jackal furs on there? I only know of 3, one of which is rarely on, and the others I don't see around that much if at all. Be nice to connect like furs on there.

Posted 16 years agoAs per the wishes of the family the body will be creamated then taken back to there home in CT. I will ask if this will be a open funeral so freinds can attend if possible here in Columbus Ohio.

Posted 16 years agoI been talking with people about a common problem with a few clubs out there. There not to freindly to DJs that want to bring in there own custom stage builds and such for the crowd. This got me thinking, and currently building, a club that is more DJ freindly in that regard. However it baddly needs land and a staff, so right now it just exists as a idea and current build project.
Still I'm wondering if anyone here would be intersted in going to such a place? The overall theme is a gothic castle with side altars to various dark gods and such, and it would be playing mostly industrial, metal, and other such music, although a schedule will be set up for other kinds of music to be played there as well.
As for right now though.... I really wish I had the money to get a sim and do this.... :P At least as a rental.

Cheeper and easier then SL?
Posted 16 years agoYes you read the journal right, there is a place that is like SL, but is cheeper and easier then SL in the long run. Here are some perks they have over SL.
1) Its cheaper, losts/land costs less then you think.
2) Land is bigger lots, you can build up to 10K in the air.
3) The areas are themed
4) Lots of space between lots. So there is no feeling of being crowded.
5) All the spaces are water side, which offers everyone a good view of everything.
6) Mature and General areas are kept seperate, so there isn't a way for one to get in to a mature area, or even walk in to one.
7) Artists rights are strictly enforced, this means no one is going to copy your scripts, or steal a idea created by you.
Also for you SL developers out there here is something else.
This place just started to you can get on the ground floor of something new.
So if you want ot be the first to offer a service, or just build a area to your own specs, a little better then what SL offers, then check out...

Posted 16 years agoAppears that FA admin, or at least one of them decided to remove the threat down pic for me... Now considering most meme's are made the same way, does that make them all illegal? Also is it insulting me to assume that I would not admit my mistake and remove it for me.... rather then give me the chance to remove it myself and admit my mistake (which I would have).
Now don't get me wrong I have the highest level of respect for FA admin, but there are times when I wonder about them as individuals, if they are even capable of doing there job at times.

Is YouTube worth it anymore?
Posted 16 years agoOkay this all happened after I blocked one guy from my page, as all he wanted to do was post racial slurs and instults (which where removed).
But now people like that seem to be coming out of the wood work. Now I just use YouTube to post test work I do in Poser 7 and Daz Studio, nothing more or less. However there seem to be those, espcially neo-nazi's that want to fling nothing but insults to the point that it makes me wonder... is posting this stuff on YouTube even worth it anymore?
