I am finally back from being out of the country, I just got home this morning and I am exhausted. Its been fun, but now its time to get back to work!

I am sorry that I missed wisheing you all a Merry Xmas and New Years, I had much less internet access than I anticipated.

So Happy Belated x2, all!

Hopefully I will stream next week, and if I don't, then that means I have paid work to do and that's a good thing.

First off, thank you guys so much for the interest in my work! Makes me very happy! The commission work that I have finished/gotten money for has helped me so much this month, you have no idea.

I've reached my 10 limit, so that is a huge milestone for me, so thanks again for that guys!

I just wanted to inform/remind folks that starting today, I will be unable to work on anything until the 15th. I am being called out of the country (for good, fun reasons) so I will be away from my studio. However, I can still be reached by all modes but IM services (like skype).

Hello to all, my new and old friends here on FA.

I've just returned home from thanksgiving with my family, while experiencing the decline and eventual loss of a dear, dear, childhood friend (family dog).
I had to stay with him and our family during the intensely painful experience of saying goodbye to a loved one.
Returning back to my apartment, I am completely exhausted physically and emotionally.

I have not had time or the mental capacity to work on Mojalth's commission, but I plan to do so this week. I am sorry, thank you for your patience.




That being said, adding to it all, things are looking grim for me financially if I keep some of my bad habits going (inaction, not substances!) so I need to do something to get enough cash to buy my family Christmas presents this year.

I was thinking of promoting some well structured commissions with clear price bracketing, but I know some of you guys really liked my animation, so if there was a way to do an animation growth fundraiser I'd be cool with that too.

the only catch is that I need to manage myself and make sure I don't pay myself less than minimum wage per hour of work, either way. Because then I'd be better off working at Target (an american department store) sadly.

Hello my scaly, furry, fat, muscly, well-endowed and/or macro internet denizen friends!



In light of my changing life situations, with my big move coming up and lack of job (still) and huge looming expenses, I am very pleased to announce that I will be offering a very special series of YCH animated sequences!

Yes! Animated!

"But how?" you ask, "Animation is incredibly time consuming, and you can't animate something without knowing what the characters will look like in the end!?"
"Well..." I say, needlessly taking pause, "Each animation will be 1-2 seconds long featuring a transformation. A basic animated pencil test with a stand-in dummy animated at 12 frames per second will display the action advertised. Those who win the YCH can then insert their character(s) of choice and I will animate that character doing that very action."
"Your animation dummy doesn't look like my character" you may retort.
"Well, I am quite flexible within reason! Its only a second or two long so adjusting the animation a bit isn't an issue" I may reply.
"Its rough looking"
"Are you familiar with YCHs?"

Enough of the hypothetical "you." In all seriousness I am really excited and I know you guys will like the end results. One of the tricks I am offering is that they will be YCH auctions - and I dunno if thats not cool or anything but here's why I'm doing it:

I can gauge interest
I will offer incentives to those who bid higher, such as:
-upgrading to 24 frames per second
-color
-shading
-more animation
-additional characters

Each YCH auction will have written-out tiers of bonuses so if folks want to hit a target they can, and if the bid is won low I can not be overworked and lose money working on the animation.


In 24 hrs I will be posting my first YCH animation auction featuring sudden massive weight gain into a bipedal dragon body-type (very much like Merdax HERE). Once that bid is won I will poll to see what people want next most. If no one bids (or starting bid is only bid) I will probably not do another one for a long time.

Last note: I don't have a large group of followers to pull from, so any signal boosts once the auction is posted would be a huge help. <- and will be incentivized. more on that later!

Hey guys! Remember me?


Yeah so with the exception of this past weekend I've been keeping a pretty low profile because I've been busy and avoiding detection from my roommates.

But the good news: I found a new apartment that I'll be moving into in October! So unless I get a full time job (which I hope I do, desperately), I'll be making more stuff and dedicating more time to work here. I'll either be doing a series of YCH's, an animated growth drive or just open for commissions in general. You guys will be the first to know!


Also, I have a twitter thats just for me to see what you guys are up to (as in, furry scalie guys, etc). Follow me and I follow you. I dunno what to say most of the time but I like reading what others have to say.

yes, that is one "n" - some bastard took both twitter and tumblr "tyrannozilla" and they're not really even using it.

July was a great month for me. My roommates went on vacation. visited family, and generally left me alone in the apartment for long periods of time. We're good buds, but the privacy was immensely refreshing and I got a lot of work done (FA-wise).

Now that things are back to normal, people constantly walk past my computer when I try to work when I get the chance. It slows things to an absolute standstill because I have to be pretending to play video games or watching videos when I close Photoshop and whatnot. Streaming is impossible. As is, they are immensely dissatisfied and are prying when I do admit to drawing, but refuse to show them what. I know one of them is trying to figure out that I might be drawing furry stuff, but wont ask me if I do. Either way, I can't let them know. Thankfully I will be moving out in a month or so.

Anyhoo, this rant is brought to you by my frustration in not getting things done for FA.

This July marks the end of my monthly request raffles.

Its been 12 months of meeting new characters, stretching my abilities and trying new things. I hope that my work done has brightened your days even just a little bit.

I feel like I ought to apologize to those who never got the chance to win, as I strove to be as fair as possible. Take heart, because I don't think I'll never do the raffle again, but I need to take a break from it for at least a month or two.

I was finishing school and had an absolutely massive final that I had been spending months working on. I spent all waking hours on the project, and while I did spend time on commissions and prizes, I consider myself very lucky to have gotten finished what did do last month. Thank you guys so much for for patience. After I posted Tagmer's prize in May, I literally had no access to computers & privacy to talk to folks and etc until today. I cannot emphasize how fast and busy May was for me.

Now however, I am done with school, and will be looking for work. That means I have plenty of time to catch up on commissions, draw prizes and do R&D for my Summer project (that I hope all you guys voted on). Anyhoo, enough with the chit-chat!

Here's the funk: I have a goal to earn over 600 dollars by the end of May. I have a feeling that it may not happen, but I've got to try. Right now I have 10 slots open ~ which means I hope that the average commission price is at 60 dollars. However, I can't force anyone to pay for something they don't want! ^.=.^

SO, I was alerted to this bit of news:

ULTRA OBESE CROCODILE DIES DUE TO EXTREME FATNESS


Its a link to a news article showing the fella, and boy was he/she cartoonishly fat. I thought you you guys and thought I'd post it to to make sure you get to see what a real-life mega-obese crocodile looks like. First time for me, that's for sure.

It lived to 100, so I guess fat scalies are less likely to die from it than their furry brethren? I wonder.


Now I need to see an article linking to a underground steroid-infused alligator bodybuilding tournament(pics please), then I'd be just about set for life.

Once the requests stop (2-3 days tops it seems) I will use a number lottery picker to choose the winners. I will then update my journal to announce the winners!

The Prize: A color drawing of your chosen character by me! Your character will be depicted doing some sort of shenanigans of my choosing like I've done in the past. Look it other winners in my submissions to see what can happen!

Well, The submissions have slowed to a stop so I pulled the two numbers! Give a hearty congrats to:

It took considerable effort to maintain my ethics to not fix the raffle before the draw due to all the amazing characters that were submitted. However, I enjoy not being able to choose as well, its like a game!
