I am curious what would be better for a future auction.

I learned the hard way that 240 pages is way too much. Would anyone be more interested in say, a 50 page sketchbook?

I am just looking for some feedback so I can do more of these auctions in the future and provide better deals for both parties!

I have no idea what I am doing. I have never done an auction like this before. I ended up extednding the deadline for the sketchbook auction

I am not entirely sure if I am going to get any more bids and the highest bid still isnt enough for the trip.

I would like it if it would go for more than $1 a page :((((

made some awesome points the other night as to why complaining about YCH auctions is lame and holds no solid ground.

If an artist wants to make a quick buck, who give a flying fuck? Capitalism, man. Its fucking awesome. Whatever amount of creativity is supposedly lost with these auctions is insignificant. Its the process of commission, just in a different order. I have had commissioners give me free reign with characters before. How is that any different?

If you want to be angry (or jealous)
Blame the people who buy them. I have seen them go over normal commission prices. Why would you be mad at the artist for that?

Its you're right (assuming you are American, don't know anything about other countries) to sell your services for whatever you see fit. Art is a luxury, anyhow. You don't need a picture of a dragon cumming in its own mouth to feed your children or get you to school everyday.
