For a smol update, my trip to Tulip Time (the tulip festival) on Wednesday was great. Mom opted to stay home, which i was mad about, cause I wanted the day to be part of her Mother's day gift, but I get to steal her for a different (closer to home) trip on Monday.

As for the title of this journal

Time crunch and Breakdown.

So for Mother's Day Proper: My cousin/roommate Raven's mom, her sister, and her sister's son (and partner), are all coming up here Sunday morning to go to the local childrens zoo with me, Raven, and my mother. Mom's get in free, so my Mom, Raven's Mom and Sister get in at no cost. Which means that I have to pay for Me and Raven, and Raven's mom pays for Raven's 'Brother-in-law' and nephew. Plus we also discussed doing the two rides there (A carousel and small train) collectively as a family, so there's that cost for us as well. Food we're either eating before we go or take there (they allow coolers for picnics), so that cost is already taken care of. Roughly the cost that I have to cover is about 50 USD (Admission, Rides, Gas).

The next chunk (the larger urgent one), is my loan payment. Comes out Monday at around 9 AM EDT, so I'd like to have it in my account On or Before Sunday. that's just 75 USD.

The rest 75 USD Covers the rest of the plants and supplies for our garden. We're putting in a garden this year to help offset the growing costs of veggies and fruit that we most commonly eat. Stuff we can easily store for long periods of time dried, canned or frozen. We already have roughly about half of what we need through seeds (that get put right in the ground) and pre-started plants. We just need the rest half (which ironically are most of the core items we wanted) and some supplies, like a small amount of fertilizer and garden dirt to rejuvenate the soil.

Well, it's certainly been a week

I've already had to quit that job that I had started. Turns out, i cannot handle the stress of a call center!

So back to job hunting and catching up on comms

So in the past two weeks, I got sick, my mom lost her health insurance, im going to lose mine at the end of the month (which im going to appeal)

I am in a situation where I need 300 USD Asap. 80 for my bills, 80 for mom's medications (her insulin most importantly) and 120 for the cell phone bill. Anything extra just goes towards other necessities, like the water bill, food and gas.

At the moment of writing this, I'm just incredibly exhausted. I dread every day currently, even with my medications, cause there's just so little I can do to even keep afloat.

Local call center, part time. Minimum wage, but its consistent work.

Just thought I'd check in with a little update.

Med adjustment is going well. I'm actually able to focus on things now. My head isnt swarming with negative thoughts, i'm not as tired all the time and I don't react as intensely to minor things (Like that cats knocking something over, or simple questions while im doing something).

It's still going to take me a while to find my new normal, since I also need to start looking into seeing an actual therapist.

Due to basically being bed bound for over a month because of the depression, I'm still catching up on a ton of housework. Which means work is very slowly being chipped away at. I'm also needing to basically rebuild my discipline and start trying to find a routine that works for me.

Outside of that, I have some other health issues that I'm working on addressing. The ultimate irony i guess is being a fat fur artist and wanting to lose weight.

But thank you all for being understanding and patient with me, i honestly cannot say that enough.
