AMD Ryzen 2k cores just dropped, and I'm super eager to get an entirely new build going! Especially considering that my current parts and build are over 7 years old, I need to upgrade >~>

Thanks to PC Part Picker, I have a general idea of what I want in the completed build, and what I currently need to get started with what I have. Ballpark estimate is at least $1,200 Canadian, with the completed build rocketing up past $2k - mainly due to stupid high graphic card prices due to the crypto mining craze still making the rounds. So not getting a GTX 1070Ti, but maybe getting the next generation of GPUs when they drop.

Guess what I'm saving up for/using my tax returns on, lol.

I understand that wintertime is the most depressing of all the seasons due to there being less sunlight and being forced to stay indoors, but this journal isn't about that.

This journal is about the feeling of loneliness one gets when it feels as though nobody in a group wants to do anything together anymore, despite people giving out suggestions and trying to do group activities together.

It doesn't matter if the games in question are free to play, cost very little, or even gifted. Nobody wants to play. And then come the issues of specific genres that people like/dislike. Not pointing fingers at anyone, but I would love to be a part of a group where we can either play games online, or chill irl and play board games, card games or something. It has gotten very boring figuring out what to do and doing nothing about it.

During times like these, back when I had a car, I would go out for a cruise around, just to get my mind off things. but I can't do that now, since I don't have a car.

Can anyone give a bored, lonely fox some tips?

I've been looking around local classified websites at vehicles on the cheap (trying to get around $500 or less), and have come up with three options to select models from: Subaru, Nissan, and of course, Honda.

Currently, the only cars out of those three manufacturer options that private sellers are selling for less than $500 are Hondas. Mainly Civics. I've found a 2001 FWD Nissan Sentra and a 2000 AWD Subaru Impreza wagon for $600 each, and was curious as to what peoples opinions are on all three manufacturers or models. Pros, cons and similarities/differences and why i should choose one brand over another.

Oh, and the selections are all manual transmission. No automatics, if possible.

Finally said goodbye to my Motorola RAZR V. Had to replace her with a Samsung Galaxy S4 due to age, low performance and low internal memory. Now I'm looking forward to a good, long relationship with the Samsung~ :3

So I'm finally getting back to writing fanfiction, but I'm not too confident that I still have that "oomph", that "something" that made my work popular on fanfiction.net. So I need people willing to read novel-length chapters (over 2,000 words/chapter) to see if I still have what it takes to write great stories.

I'm not asking you guys to read ALL of my fanfics, just the ones I will be providing links for. One is a story that I started waaaaaaay back in November 2010 and haven't touched since December 2012, and the other is a oneshot that I put up to test the waters, yet haven't received enough feedback on back in July of last year.

EDIT: Yanno, it kinda stings that nobody would even reply to this Journal, or even leave an anonymous review on the stories to let me know just how well (or how bad) they think I did between the two. Makes me think that they aren't worth reviewing or continuing and I should just give up on creative writing. :/

Hey followers, Chief here.

So I finally got the proper program to let me stream to Twitch.tv, but I haven't got a clue what to stream. Do I stream (somewhat) current games, or do I stream old console games via emulation (e.g. SNES, N64, etc.)?

I've done streaming before via LiveStream, but I haven't done any streaming as of late and wondering what I should stream this time.

Anybody want to lend a fox some ideas?

So I bought myself a gas-operated airsoft pistol (WE G18C Gen3) with a spare mag, green gas, a tactical belt and leg holster to compliment my CA SCAR-L AEG (ACOG 4x Fiberscope, plastic foregrip and sling, as well as a spare mag), and I plan to grab some body armour to hold the spare mags and ammo, if I decide to carry some into a skirmish (if I can find one around the Greater Toronto Area, that is).

So what I'm getting at is this...anyone else play airsoft? What's your gear? Try to not get too technical with me, I'm still just getting into the sport ^^;

With Spartan Assault out on Steam, people are getting their hopes up that at least Halo: Combat Evolved and Custom Edition will appear on Steam, especially with the GameSpy servers shutting down at the end of May. My question to you, is this:
