General | Posted 12 years agoI've looked around and searched, but I can't seem to find any page related to us who have found and lost love. Yes, I'm referring to us poor souls that have been divorced. That being said, I'm wanting to start a page like that on FA; something to help bring us together and realize that, even though love wasn't for the relationship that we lost, it doesn't mean that it isn't for us.
I personally know that I've been HEAVILY against, "love," ever since I was kicked out, and my, "Stockholm Syndrome," finally faded away; but I'm starting to wonder, is there really a chance that it's still out there for me? Is there some girl out there that finds something worthwhile in Sam, not because of Uhhnonymouse nor Jordayne, but ME? In hopes to find answers to this question, I'm gonna start up this page as SOON as I'm allowed to register a new account. (Sadly enough, right as I tried to do it just now, the registration is out of order because of some, "spam," problems......)

General | Posted 12 years agoSo the other night at a local furmeet, I was told by MULTIPLE people that I'm either a) too hard on myself, or b) put myself down too much. I've been told this most of my adult life by other people, but the other night must've been the breaking point, cuz I wanna fix this shit now!
The topic that I've been hard on myself on mostly is my art, cuz, of course, I'm SUPER amateur, and my end results are mediocre at best. I've been known to do this about most things I do (piano, career, relationships), but last night really set the idea in motion for me.
With that in mind, I'm gonna start drawing more and posting them up here. You don't need to favorite them all, but I'd really like if I got some constructive criticism on them.
Oh, and one last thing for my one commissioner,
Rico_Dragon. Yes, I'm still working on your commission, and I'm SOOO sorry for taking so long to get back to you! You've been TOO awesome and patient for waiting for so long for little to no progress, so thanks so much!

When I was a kid, I made the mistake of weighing myself when I was 8 years old. The memory of watching the needle flutter to numbers in excess of 150 pounds is one of the few moments that I let define myself even today.
When I was 9, there was only one kid in my life who felt comfortable I'm sharing a friendship with me; and by age 10, he had given up to peer pressure, joining the rest of the school in taunting me for my weight.
When I was 19, he found me on Facebook and sent me a letter, apologizing for being so cruel in our adolescence, and asking for forgiveness. Before I granted his wish, I had only one question: "Why?" I never heard from him again.
I waited for over a week with no reply before sending a few scathing letters that ultimately led him to block me on the site. Years after that, I was on my second Facebook account when I realized my mistake, resulting in me sending one last letter, granting his wish of forgiveness, and asking for the same for the way I reacted. To this day, I still await his response.

General | Posted 12 years agoSo, on top of the queue that I took a while ago, now I have to add some stuff in FRONT of that. Just got a text from my boss that the company is losing work, and they're either laying off people, or throwing them on furlough. And, after calling the Union work order list to find out that, out of ALL the union companies (plumber AND pipefitter companies), only ONE person is being requested for work. Nothing for apprentices, and not much for journeymen, unless you're that ONE GUY that this ONE COMPANY is requesting.

through the hallways of his mind.
Where memories of his lightened past
are displayed for him to find.
He dances through his happy times,
he quickly sulks through the sad.
He stops to admire his family,
the best companions he ever had.
But then he sees the empty halls,
the passages unknown.
The times that he has yet to live
the life he soon will hone.
He wonders what events he'll see,
emotions he will feel?
He hesitates at thoughts of failure,
making courage hard to steal.
But memories behind him cheer,
his friends and family roar.
His fears all gone, he carries on,

Thinking about getting into something new.....
General | Posted 12 years agoSo I've been thinking about getting into some chainmaille or scalemaille projects, mostly because I want to commission a scaled tail, but don't want to pay the minimum $250 for it. So after looking into the costs of the supplies, looking at how much time I spend doing useless shit, and how much sanity I need to maintain through this lovely divorce I find myself in the middle of, I figure this could be a fantastic idea...... maybe even a new calling in the ways of finding commissions (since, "artistic," is the LAST thing you'd think when you see my drawings..... *shudder*).
That being said, does anyone know of a good place to start in the ways of this new realm of awesome? Good workers or other people that know what they're doing with chainmaille jewelry and similar crafts? Cheap sellers of rings and scales? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Eh, depends on what you mean by fast. I can type insanely fast, but highly inaccurate.

Not really. This seems to be the best and easiest place for me to commissions awesome pplz!

Goal for today's TMI Tuesday...
General | Posted 12 years agoOk, I'm gonna steal ethanqix's journal idea, and set a theme/ goal for today's TMI Tuesday. The goal of today is to make me blush or get uncomfortable. Not very many have succeeded in this, but I now welcome EVERYBODY to give it a try!
