So, due to the fact that I don't have my son tonight nor tomorrow (ugh, divorce schtuff..... don't ask), and my parents will be out of town for the weekend, I'll be starting a piano livestream tomorrow some time in the afternoon. Probably sometime around 4-ish... But I'm just looking to have a bit of fun and get my mind off of the past week and everything that's hitting the fan in my life....
And, on top of doing it tomorrow afternoon, I'll be doing it for MOST of the day Saturday. I'm looking for people to come by and just say hi, throw a request my way, and..... I dunno, have fun? Is that what people do on livestreams?..... huh, either way, do whatever you want on there. I'm thinking about using TinyChat or Livestream, but is there anywhere else anyone wants to see this kind of schtuff?
And, on top of doing it tomorrow afternoon, I'll be doing it for MOST of the day Saturday. I'm looking for people to come by and just say hi, throw a request my way, and..... I dunno, have fun? AN AMAZING ARTIST NEEDS SOME LOVIN!
General | Posted 12 years agoWhen I first joined the Furry Community (socially, not just a silent watcher anymore), I knew that the first thing I needed to get was a ref sheet. I studied multiple artists, searching for just the right one. I grew my watch list, keeping a few artists in mind, but having too few bucks to actually afford a real commission.
Then I saw that my now-favorite artist, SammyMutt, was having a sale to help her along with some real-life difficulties. I jumped on the deal, and requested my ref sheet! As her queue was pretty stacked at the time, she couldn't draw it immediately, but when it did, I knew that I was going to keep a good business relationship with her; her depiction of Jordayne was so..... perfect, so amazing, and so downright awesome that I couldn't keep my eyes off of it for WEEKS!
And as amazing as that ref sheet was, her work has gotten even better! She's started doing painting, and they are absolutely priceless!
That being said, she needs some love and attention! She's closed for commissions now, but she will be opening back up soon! Her work is literally astounding, and she could use some help now... a lot of real life stuff is setting her back, and some money luvz will DEFINITELY help her out in her time of need!
So, if you have a heart or some money at all, please go and at LEAST visit her page... I PROMISE you won't be disappointed!

! I don't know what species it's gonna be, but all I know is that it's gonna be a male (?) with black fur and red highlights! Sooo excited to find out what it is!
But now that I have that said, I have to apologize and make up for the past three days of my happy-joy-lucky-fun times schtuff... so, nine things that make me feel fuzzy and warm in life......
1) The gay furries. I, personally, am straight, but knowing that someone out there finds me attractive.... Kinda makes me giggle inside, lol.
2) At this point in time, Akinite, for agreeing to make me an awesome deal for a partial!
3) All of the artists that I've commissioned to draw Jordayne, particularly sammymutt for being so easy to work with. All of these talented artists have obviously put their heart and soul into their work, cuz eachand every one of them have really brought him to life outside of my mind.
4) Internet. Ahh, internet; you may be inhabited by the lowest filth in the world, but you'd also got the friendliest people ever!
5) E621.net. Like I was just talking to, some parts of the interwebz are filled with the scummiest of the scummy... this is no exception; but through their.... more interesting pictures, I was introduced to the fantastic world of furry!
6) AZFurs.com. Getting into this site let me find more furs irl, thus giving me a more real feeling that I'm not alone... I'm not just some weirdo that likes to check out pictures or furries/ Anthros; and to top it all off, most of the local furs in my area are the nicest group EVER!
7) Obviously, I gotta put down good ol' FA! This is, by far, my favorite place to find artists to commission! And not only that, I've actually been able to talk to my favorite artists here (namely Jailbird, Tsampikos, and........ shit, those are the ones I recognized most that I've had some talks to... Lol).
8) Livestream.com. I've been able to share my talents, no matter how minor they are in comparison to the other livestreamers, and feel like I can contribute something useful to the art of the fandom.
And the last one, 9!) hmmmmm, I'm really struggling with this one. I truly don't have anything that I can come up with that I haven't already started.... so I'm going to just name pic specific people. That being said, mystic.soulstar is certainly a great guy and a great friend. He was the first person who was interested in getting a 3D custom keyblade from me, and he's shown some sincere appreciation for what I have him, even if I wasn't a big fan of it myself... Nonetheless, he's getting married soon, and needs some love and help financially..... so yeah! go throw some cash at him!

General | Posted 12 years agoOk... a bit more smiley today, but that may only be because I got to see my son last night! Lol, he had a BLAST at the GameWorks FurMeet, and the ppl there seemed to realize he's the cutest thing EVER!!!
But now that I got that out of the way, gotta stay happy today..... ugh...
1) A God that still finds value in my existence, even when I have lost sight of it years ago.
2) My parents, who are willing to take care of my son when I'm at work.
And 3) My sense of humor... or humor in general. Otherwise, I would've gone mad or killed myself a loooong time ago! The ability to let shit roll off your back really helps out when there's a LOT of assholes out there.
But now that I got that out of the way, gotta stay happy today..... ugh...

General | Posted 12 years agoOk, and now, back to my little dealio where I list three things that are bettering my life in some way, shape, and/or form.....
1) Now that I got my superclose stuff done yesterday, I gotta go out and give all of YOU some props! Being in the furry community has certainly helped me out, not just for the fact that it's something to do ever since I was kicked out of my apartment (by my *cringe* wife), but you all have given me somewhere to belong! So thank you SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!
2) My piano. Being able to just sit down at the end of a hard day and let my thoughts and emotions flow through my fingers into a paino or keyboard really is a HUGE relief, mentally and emotionally.
And 3) My job. The fact that I make...... a lot more than normal 23-year-old guys do, really helps out in my financial troubles. And not only that, but the stability, the support, and hell, the people that work there are just way too awesome for me not to take note of!
So that's that. Thus far, I haven't noticed any difference in my mood or behavior, but I'm starting to think that I see a light at the end of the tunnel.... so that's good news, right?

So... Some Existential Fun... Day 1/21
General | Posted 12 years agoSo I've been Listening to some stuffz about self-esteem and self-worth, and I've discovered that, as much time and devotion I have dedicated to my current job, it doesn't exactly make me truly happy. Don't get me wrong, I love being able to look at my jobsite and say, "Yeah. My sweat and blood was spent to make that awesome building there what it is now. That building right there..... I was a part of that!" But my true passion lies with computers, specifically with drawing/3D modeling. That being said, I'm gonna start taking some side classes online, with some guidance from a good friend (you know who you are, buddy).
And on top of that, I don't care if it starts a meme or not, but I'm gonna take some advice from a Netflix episode of TedTalks; For the next 21 days, I am going to list three things that either make me happy, I appreciate, or stuff that is going good in my life. Nothing is allowed to match from day to day, so I'm gonna have to dig really deep to get some of these. The point behind this is to start a trend of thinking that is other than the negative that I usually tent to focus on. Now I'm gonna have to pay attention all day so I can realize the good that really takes place in this wonderful thing we call life.
And on top of that, I'm gonna get into some mild meditation and exercise.... Hopefully this can all help me turn my attitude around......
SO! Without further ado, I shall now start my 21 days!
1) My Son, Rowan.
2) A sister who's willing to take me in while my divorce drains my self-worth and funds.
3) My future-ex-wife. Even though she is making my life miserable at the moment, living with her has truly taught me how to live financially wise. Not living with her would've meant that I'd be making bookoo bucks, but spending more than I'm saving.

General | Posted 12 years agoSo last friday, I went to a friend's game night, got home at about 1:30 in the morning, and thought it would be a good idea to try to get some laptop time in before I collapse from exhaustion (mind you, I had finished a 10-hour shift that requires me to wake up at 2:30 the morning before... and I hadn't gotten in a nap in between, so I was up a good solid 22 hours straight). I think I collapsed about ten minutes later, and when I woke up, I couldn't find my damn mouse! That being said, I must apologize to MoonShadow370, as I promised him a stream to finish his custom keyblade (2D plan can be found here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11298219/ ), but since having a mouse is CRUCIAL to working in AutoCAD, I cannot get it finished up right now. I might stop by Best Buy or Target tomorrow after work, but I cannot promise anything right now...... SO SORRY, BROHAM!
Nonetheless, I must give a huge thanks to everyone who has been so helpful and concerned about my financial issues, whether its on this website or my local fur forum. Its awesome people like you guys that make me feel like I'm not just another number in the crowd! Thank you from the very bottom of my heart! :3~<

Feeling Great Once Again!
General | Posted 12 years agoOh my gosh! For the past few months, I have been fawning over the fantastic brushstrokes that other great artists can make. I have searched my soul inside and out, hoping for some artistic muse to emerge, yet all I could find was the simple ditties on my piano, maybe a poem here and there (only one of which has been shared on here, due to the fact that they're rather depressing). But I finally found a more visual art form that makes me feel..... like I'm an actual contributor to the art that can take place in this amazing community!
I made a 3D customized keyblade for
Mystic.Soulstar, then, not even five minutes later after posting it to my submissions, I looked in the mirror and felt...... worthwhile. I highly doubt that anyone knows about the depression I can suffer from, and I, with the same intensity, also believe that the same amount of you truly care enough about it; but long story short, being able to contribute a simple 3D drawing has almost completely alleviated me from these feelings of inadequacy!
That being said, I want to give a sincere thanks to for helping me with this endeavor, risking a possible disappointment in receiving a less-than-satisfactory commission. Thank you so much helping me challenge myself to do something better, something useful, and something....... worthwhile.

My body hates me for letting me sleep in... my phone hates me for letting me sleep in (my alarm didn't go off)... and my car hates me cuz it's a gas guzzler..... I'll be livestreaming soon though!

Piano Streaming This Weekend-ish and TMI TUESDAY!

Of course, I'll post another journal and picture a little bit beforehand to give you guys a fair warning that I'm gonna start this stuff up, but I just wanted to make sure you knew a few days before. Thursday night will be full of the livestream. Friday night will be short. Saturday....... I might just chill out, play piano, and maybe some PS3 all day on the cam Saturday (of course with exception of bathroom breaks.... food breaks aren't guaranteed, though.) until a fur meet that evening. Sunday is off all together, for religious purposes of course.
And now that that's out of the way, IN A FEW HOURS IT'LL BE TMI TUESDAY AGAIN! You know the drill; ask me just about any question that decides to pop into your skull! Don't worry if its rude, distasteful, or might make me uncomfortable, just make sure you don't include religion or politics. Other than those subjects, I have no shame, so ASK AWAY!
