Posted 12 years agoI feel like I pretty much never make journals about anything personal on here so I figure NOW IS THE TIME. Things have been going quite dandy for me over here! School, fursuit work, all of the above! I actually JUST got back from BLIZZCON and I had a freaking AMAZINFFHDJSKFDS time. I'm so sad it's over, truthfully. But that's alright, cause you know what's coming up quickly? Freaking FC!! I am so excited for FC this year. I'm actually always crazy excited for FC. I think it's going to be myyy... 4th or 5th FC? I honestly can't remember, it's just so crazy to me how time has gone by! Then after FC is BLFC, Califur, and then RF again. And maybe a new con in there somewhere? I'm not sure yet.
ANYWAYS, enough rambling on my end. What are all you lovely people up to? I would love to hear about you!

Awesome FC Journal. RECAP TIME + FUTURE!

There has been SO much going on lately, all of it very very exciting, and now that I am back home from FC I want to fill everyone in on a bit of what is going on in my life, how FC went, and also very near future stuff! (I'll try to keep this a short as possible, ^^;)
So, if you read my last journal I just recently moved from Washington State back to So Cal about two weeks ago. It was HECTIC. A few days before FC and I took the three-day journey to Washington. Drove there, got all my stuff, and drove back, giving us only THREE DAYS to prepare for FC, which means we would have to drive back up to Nor Cal in three days, which was okay since 6 hours is NOTHING compared to the 33 hours is took us to get home. After that, we went into full drive to get ready for FC! And we had SUCH an amazing time.
FC was such an amazing weekend that it is all pretty much a blur to me now. Suiting definitely took up the entire con and Chewy definitely conquered! and I won 1st place in the master class in the masquerade which was an AMAZING experience so say the least, keep an eye out for us next year! Did a bunch of karaoke, made lots of new friends, and a ton of new memories. Also loved sabotaging the CRAP out of the critter olympics. I apologize to everyone for almost killing you all. I cannot wait for the cons to come and I know they are all going to be a blast. A shout out to , 
, 
, 
,

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season! I sure have. Over the break I was really itching to get some suit work done and the lovely offered to help me out on some suits and to also bust out an auction suit! We hit it off completely and have been working together now for about a month busting out suits, long days, and lots of adventures! <3
SO! Him and I have decided to combine forces to get serious about fursuit business. Realizing this, yes I did move to Washington about 4 months ago but now I have recently moved in with Kisho to get our business rolling! So YES, I am back in So Cal. HOORAY! I am still going to school part time, which is a lot easier to balance fursuit work with, but since Kisho and I are together and now working together a lot of things are going to change. Mainly working with commissions. I will link and switch up new prices, terms of service, and a FAQ regarding commissions so you can all go to those to check that out. However, I am still in the process of moving my things down from Washington so bare with me for a week or so. ^^;

Posted 13 years ago2012 was definitely an interesting year for me. I wasn't as involved in the fandom as I would have liked, I only went to FC, and only made a few fursuits. Made a lot of decisions that I thought would change my life for the good, moved to Washington, did pretty average in my first quarter of college, and that's pretty much it! 2012 you were boring as hell it's time to change things up a bit!
2013 is going to be an amazing year for sure, I can feel it! Going to start the year off by going to FC and have a TON of fun with my friends and plan on making a ton of new ones! Fursuit wise things are going to change a lot, so expect to see some changes around here. Other than that, life is totally up in the air and i'm going to take it day by day and I know this year will be a great one. <3

Posted 13 years agoSo as of Wednesday i'll be on my way to Washington! (Washington State that is, not DC!). I'm going to be about and hour and a half north of Seattle, if anyone is up there.. haha. I'm going to be attending Western Washington University and i'm suuuper excited! Everything has been helllla busy down here as i've been packing like crazy as well as trying to get as much fursuit stuff packed as I can. Unfortunately, I can't bring all of my supplies all at once due to me not having a ton of room. So i'll slowly be getting all my stuff up there so I won't be on FA for a bit as I try to get settled and getting all my supplies up! As of now I have a box with my essentials (sewing machine, mannequin, glue, etc)
I'm going to miss So Cal so much! All my buddies down here, i'll miss you all so much! Hopefully i'll meet new furs up in Washington, haha. I'll be back for the holidays (christmas that is) So maybe i'll stop by the PS and such!

Posted 13 years agoHey everyone! I hate to say this but my rat Kurtis has recently suffered a stroke and isn't doing well. I have to delay things for a couple days to figure out what i'm going to do and make sure he's comfortable and isn't suffering. This little guy means the world to me, so i'm sorry if it seems a little ridiculous but his care is my number one priority at the moment, things will be delayed for a few days but until then, he'll need all the wishes and prayers he can get.
For all deadlines Spazz and Pastel will be sent out in a few days, Pastel is almost done and if I can I will finish her tonight and they'll be there in time for your con!

As i'm finishing up my last couple of commissions for july, i'd like to let everyone know that I plan on re opening for commissions in August! These commissions would be looking at a very short turn around time for completion in september and october.
I am opening commissions for everything! Fullsuits, partial, hand paws, feet paws, heads, bodysuits, digi pants, etc.

Anyone know a thing or two about rats?
Posted 13 years agoSoo.. My rat Kurt is about 2 1/2 years old. He's an albino male fancy rat. (Red eyes and all) He's been very very healthy ever since he was a baby. He's been a little overweight thanks to me, but here's the problem.. He had a lump below his chest for about a week or two. I did some research and apparently if you move the lump around and it moves with the skin then it isn't a tumor. (Thank god) So, i'm thinking it was a cyst. About yesterday I took a look at it and it had opened completely. Mind you, this thing is about the size of a half a dime, so not huge. I don't know if it opened by itself or if he chewed it open. (He chews on just about everything) So it's an open wound now with most of all of whatever was inside of it gone. There wasn't any blood or anything, just clear liquid and a bit of puss. But, on the top of it there looks to be a little light green thing hanging from the inside. I was thinking everything was okay until I saw that. He acts pretty much the same, he's obviously older and is a little slower now, but still hyper, and he's lost a little weight. So now, i'm not too sure what to do. Anyone have any history with rats that could help me out or what I should do?
