I just wanted to give a few updates about general art stuffs.

Weekly Adoptables
Starting next month, I'm going to be switching things up a bit. Up until this point, Heavenly Anthros has been my main series and the Anthro Adventurers has been one of my rotating side series.

I enjoy doing anthro adventurers very much (and people seem to prefer it) and I have a list of RPG classes that I keep that can keep the series going for years! And I love doing enough that I could!

Sadly with two series that are long running, I don't get any variety, which makes me a little bored; so I'll be making the Adventurers series my main adopt series and shelve the Heavenly Anthros for now. I'm not giving up on Heavenly Anthros, just switching it out with something new for the time being. I'll be running a poll on DA to determine what the new short series will be!

Zodiac Calendar 2020
I'm still planning on doing this. I'm not sure if others have any interest in it, but it's still in the cards as long as there is interest.

September Specials
I'm planning on running a few commission specials throughout September per usual since it's the time of the year where I plan my big Ohio trip and have to renew my gold pass for Cedar Faire. My circus sideshow commissions will be back, plus there will be discounts for commissions of a certain types.

Halloween Adoptables
I will not be doing a daily Calendar this October... mostly because I no longer have the time and energy to devote for one with a lot of my free time going to working my but off on the next Azure Wheel Chronicles comic (which is about 1/3 done at the time I write this). I do however have a new adoptable type in mind which will be a variant of the old egg adopts that I used to do. I think you guys will really like it. :3

Of course, these will also be a discount for spooky commissions in October.

Personal Work
Chugging along at "The Doctor's Call" comic, mostly. As I stated before, I'm about 1/3 of the way done with this beast of a comic. I'm hoping to have it done and printed for Anthrocon next year! I'm also planning on getting back to Diplomatic Immunity soon as well.

Apart from that, I'd like to work on a species sheet for two of my main species; Athenian and Skylion but both are so big, they'd have to be a PDF. So I'd have to find some good chunks of time to work on that.

Other than that, you'll be seeing some random design work and "whatever the heck I feel lie drawing at the time" type stuff.

I'm currently working on my next Azure Wheel Chronicles, which involves some of my military characters.

Neither myself nor anyone in my circle of friends are experts on the topic of firearms, so I need someone with knowledge on the subject to look at the sketch for the current page I'm working on to look at my sketch for the page and let me know if I'm drawing it correctly in terms of proper safety.

Since I've had a few people ask me about this, I'm going to address the state my my two ongoing webcomics (Dreams Without Sin & Diplomatic Immunity) publicly.

No I have not abandoned either series, they are just on a bit of a hiatus because I have been scrambling to finish other things that I have a strict deadline on.

Remember, I have a day job of owning a pet store, which is more demanding than most typical day jobs, which leaves me limited time to do art so I have to pick and choose the art that I can do based on priority... and priority goes to the art that I am paid to do... and since webcomics are a creative endeavor rather than a financial one, I have no choice but to temporarily put them on the back burner.

Anthrocon is fast coming up, so all of my time and energy for art has been going into preparing for it. I needed to finish Milk Run in time to have it off to the printer so it would be in my hands before I left... and now I need to focus on finishing art for the art show/making sure everything is correctly mounted to go on the walls/making art for prints, etc.

I''m also in full swing of working on art for my three annual calendars. I don't want to keep people waiting too long to get their art, so this week I'm going to go into crunch time to work on them. I'm also full force into my next printed comic, The Doctor's Call... which is over twice as long as my previous printed comics, so I have to put my nose to the grinder in hopes of it being done for Anthrocon next year.

Yup... I'm that busy with my art schedule.

Dreams Without Sin - I put this on the backburner to work on Milk Run and other things for AC. I'm hoping that after the con, I'll be able to work on it again. However, I need to rewrite some of it, and my muse doesn't seem to want to work on writing at the moment, so I can't promise when it will be back. I'm hoping sometime during the summer.

Diplomatic Immunity - SOON! Remember that this is a joint effort between myself and Newie... and we have both been super busy lately. I like to work on it when he's around to watch it being worked on. I had actually discussed it with him earlier this week, so there may be new pages as early as next week.

So yeah... be patient with me since I perpetually have a lot on my plate, but they will both be back!

It’s here! My month long celebration of anything fantastical!

Throughout the entire month of May, all commissions featuring a fantasy creature will include free radiant coloring. I’m pretty loose on the term’fantasy creature’ as long as it is of a species that doesn’t exist in our world, it’s fair game. Just because it’s anthro doesn’t make it count. It has to be a fantastical creature.

For example:
An anthro or feral housecat would not count. But an anthro or feral hellcat would.

I've been hard at work creating a fursuit that will be making its debut at Anthrocon. It's pretty much done, but I am missing something very important... two twin lightabers. (Long time watchers should know what character this will be!)

I am having them custom built, so it's going to be kinda pricey. To help pay for them, I'm willing to work my butt off. Therefore, I'm holding a "Heroes and Villains" themed commission special from now until the end of March.

Any commission that features a hero or villain character will receive free radiant coloring! This is not limited to superheroes/villians and any genre heroes/villains are fair game. This special also includes character designs of all types!

I know I don’t write these journals anymore, mostly because I no longer have the time and energy to do them with running/owning a pet store on my plate, but I figured I’d give some updates on upcoming projects and ideas!

Myths and Legends
i recently held a poll on DeviantArt to ask what types of adoptables people would like to see. The winner was myths and legends. On second thought, it may not work well as a weekly series, but I am going to incorporate the theme into a mythological May daily adoptable calendar. The specific theme for this year will be “myths and legends of the British isles and will focus on creatures from English, Scottish and Irish mythology. Some old favorites will be in there as well as some obscure ones.

Paleo Anthros Coming to a close... what next?
as it says on the can; I will be discontinuing the Paleo Anthros in the coming weeks and starting fresh and new with another series. I will be moving on into the Celtic zodiac. After that series is finished, I will most likely be doing adventurer class adopts (warrior, mage, beastmaster, etc).

Patreon Only Preorders
With the new series will be a new feature on Patreon. $5 and up Patreon members can preorder any upcoming adoptables. In short series with a fixed schedule like the Celtic zodiac, I will post the list before I start the series. With longer series like the heavenly anthros, I will post the ones I am planning on doing that month. For the buyout price, Patreon members can claim any adoptable on the list. They can also choose gender, species (if not a fixed species like the Celtic zodiac) and a few key details about the design. When I draw the claimed design, it will automatically be theirs.

Witch/Warlock designs
Last year I stumbled across a couple drawing challenges for different types of witches. I planned on spending this year drawing them as a fun challenge to myself. While I still plan on doing so, it’s going to be more slow going than I originally hoped since working on my comics has been consuming most of my personal art time. When I do get around to doing these, the results will likely be sold as adoptables since I haven’t much use for witch characters.

Comics
Speaking of... the first of my Azure Wheel Chromicles comics will be available for purchase very soon! These are one shot comics about some of the happenings in my headworld. The comic is finished and has (finally) been proofread and approved by my co-writer, so I’m currently setting up a store envy shop where both the physical print and digital download versions will be available for purchase. The first comic is “Trides Imperial Hospital” and is a dark comedy about the going ones at a hospital in the Imperial city.

The second comic, Milk Run is in the middle of being drawn and will hopefully be available in a couple months from now. It is a wartime story about pilots in a world whose culture and technology is parallel to wwii era earth.

The third comic, The Doctor’s Call already has a script written and is a horror/transformation themed story with one of the characters from Trides Imperial Hospital as the main character.

I do do have plans and story ideas for comics after this, but nothing set in stone, yet.

I will also also continue to work on Diplomatic Immunity when I get a spare minute, and of course Dreams Without Sin will continue to be ongoing.

What you need to know, You need to be okay with all of this

1. The pages will take place in a middle eastern style bazaar/marketplace.
2. There is a chance that I may do a print version of this comic someday. Since these are small cameos, and I will be making very little off the print version (if anything) I cannot offer anything for using the character other than drawing them for free and a PDF file.
3. Full credit will be given for the character.
4. If you are interested, comment below with a link to the character.
5. Child characters are welcome this time! In fact, there is a small scene that involves a group of kids... so they may even get a small speaking role.
6. One character request per person.
