Yes, this sucks. This sucks hard. It looks like it's the end of the world to some, but it's really not. After staying up after my stream to talk with two of my regular members about it, I've made my peace and have decided that I'm not going to let myself lose sleep over it.

Why? Because one thing I love about us Americans is that we are generally good natured people who are able to push on no matter what shitstorm is happening at the moment. We have the ability to adapt and deal with the situation whether they be ups or downs. This is just another bump in the road, but things always seem to have a way of working themselves out in the end.

Just a heads up that starting with tomorrow's adoptable auction, I will be adding in a new rule:

"If your account looks inactive and/or sketchy, I reserve a right to refuse your bid. This could mean a lack of activity (No avatar, no faves or submissions, no comments or shouts, etc) or an account that was just created within a day prior to participate in the auction."

This is a rule that I know a lot of artists have, but I avoided putting it in place for my own auctions because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. You character as an old fashioned sideshow poster. Your character can star in any kind of circus/carnival attraction you wish. If you don't know what kind of show your character would be in, some ideas could be magician, firebreather, strongman, sideshow freak, snake charmer. musician, trapeze artist, etc, etc...

It will feature animal/fantasy creature/anthro characters with zodiac themes!

Each month will feature a different character drawn with a theme for the zodiac symbol for that month. The background will be space/starry and will have the ruling planet of that zodiac symbol.

Slots are $50 for standard coloring or $100 for Radiant!


There are a few things to note about this calendar:
* The title is "Beastly Zodiac", so all animal-based characters are allowed! This includes anthros, real animals, pets, fantasy creatures. I won't have gender restrictions, either. As long as your character has an animal face, he/she is fair game!
* Your character's species doesn't have to correspond to that of the zodiac symbol. That being said, by taking the slot you're giving me permission to adjust their costuming to fit the zodiac symbol. For example, your character doesn't have to be a goat to take the Capricorn slot... but don't be surprised if I give her horns like Loki. :)
* If you want a slot, but don't have a character that fits, I can design one for you if you'd like.
* These pictures will be used for a real, printed calendar.

I figured that I should give an update.
The cold is doing much better....


... but now I've come down with a case of pink eye most likely caused by said cold. Joy.

Just a quick note to let clients that I owe art to that there may be some delays with your commissions.

I've been sick since Wednesday. It's just a cold, so nothing to get worried about. However, I've moved into the stage of the cold that gives me horrendous sinus pressure. It's so bad that I've been getting earaches and toothaches and am virtually unable to sleep because of it.

I'm going to get done with whatever work I can. Anything that I'm on a strict deadline with will always come first, so if your art falls into this category, then it will still be done on time.

Anything else, including adoptables, has a chance of being delayed (my illness is also why my stream schedule has been unreliable these last few days) I'll work through what I can, but I'm not going to overwork myself and get more sick. I know what my body can and can't handle.

I'll return to my regular schedule as soon as I'm feeling healthy again.

* The character MUST be male. No herms or crossdressers... sorry, but they don't fit the theme that I have in mind for the calendar. If you really want to, I can turn a female character into a full male for the purposes of the calendar or design a character for you.
* The character must be anthro/furry. I will accept one 'taur character for the entire calendar year (foxtaur, wemic, etc).
* I'm not going to be "too" picky on character body types. In fact, I'm hoping to get a variety of different body types for the calendar. Your character doesn't have to look athletic by any means - and can even have a bit of pudginess or be very slim. No obscenely obese characters, though (IE Jabba the Hutt-esque).
* I choose the pose... although you are free to throw out suggestions for the theme of your picture. Just keep in mind that the entire calendar as a whole is going to have a pin-up feel to it.
* I will send you one rough WIP sketch to make sure I'm drawing your character right.
* It will have a simple background.
* Since I don't want the calendar to contain ten wolves and two other species, I'm going to limit the amount of any particular species allowed in the calendar. If I see too many of the exact same species being put in the calendar, I will stop accepting commissions of that species.
* You can pick the month you want your character to be featured on. The claiming of months are on a first come-first serve basis.
* One character per picture/commission slot.
* Prints/original artwork are NOT included in the commission price. If you'd like me to mail you the original pencil sketch and a signed print, it will be an extra $10.

Keep in mind that I don't necessarily do monthly 'themes'... you could get a picture of your character on the beach for the month of December or in a spring garden in August, but if you do have a preference for warm or cold weather, let me know and I'll keep in in mind. Once I've approved you, I will give you my payment information.

This year I'm assigning months like I did last year. I don't want someone who really wants a specific month to lose out because I assigned said month to someone who didn't really care what month they got... so anyone who signs up and doesn't specify month they want will be put into a queue. People who do want a specific month will automatically be assigned to that month provided that it isn't already taken by someone else. Once six people have signed up for the calendar then I will assign months to those in the queue.

Yep! It's that time again!

These limited calender commissions are $50 for a picture with my standard coloring style or $100 for my Radiant coloring.

There are a few catches, however.

* The character MUST be female. (No "girly boys" or transgendered/herm characters. Sorry. If you want me to turn your male character fully female for this, that's fine)
* The character must be anthro/furry. No ferals. Taurs /may/ be allowed, but I will only accept one taur per calender year. They must have an animal-like face with a muzzle (or beak) rather then a more human face.
* I'm not going to be "too" picky on character body types. Your character doesn't have to look athletic by any means - and can even have a bit of pudgyness. No obscenely obese characters, though (IE Jabba the Hutt-esque).
* I choose the pose. The calender is themed "1950s "Bettie Page" style pin-ups" so your drawing will fit that theme. Just look up "1950s pin up" on google if you don't know what that is.
* I will send you one rough WIP sketch to make sure I'm drawing your character right.
* It will have a simple background.
* Since I don't want the calender to contain ten wolves and two other species, I'm going to limit the amount of a particular species allowed if I see that too many people are signing up with the exact same species.
* You can pick the month you want your character to be featured on. The claiming of months are on a first come-first serve basis.
* One character is included in the price. However, this year I am offering a second character in the picture for an extra $20!

Just a quick note to say that my schedule is going to be really sporadic from now until Monday.
Motor City Comic Con is this weekend, which I attend every year. And during the course of the weekend, I will be having friends who will be attending the con with me staying at my house. So I'm currently preparing to entertain guests.

I am trying to finish any commissions and what not that I owe before the weekend. I /should/ be able to finish everything as long as people are timely with getting their required info to me in a timely manner. If not, then it's crunch time for me next week, so no worries, things will get done. >_>

This week's bird and heavenly anthro adoptables are already completed. I will be posting them either tomorrow or Friday and the auctions will run as normal.

Probably no public streams until Monday. However, I may do some private streams for my stream regulars Tonight, tomorrow and possibly Sunday. These will be later than usual, though.

If someone needs me for anything, I will still be checking messages regularly. I just may not be as quick to respond for the next few days.

If any of my watchers will also be attending the con, I will be wearing a Fututama brain slug hat and a Vote Cthulhu 2016 shirt and I will be with a small group of other people. Come over and say Hi! I don't bite!

A student of one of my good friends is an up and coming artist here on FA, and they are very good for being as young as they are. :)

This person needs a little help. I won't go into the details, but I'll just say that they're going through some stress that someone who is about to graduate from high school really should not have to go through.

So, go give this artist some love! If you like their work, please consider commissioning them, I'm sure they'd greatly appreciate it. :)

Hey all!
Motor City Comic Con is right around the corner, and I'm trying to save up some spending money for the occassion. Therefore, I'm holding a commission special.

The theme is villains. I can draw your villain character... or draw your "good guy" character or your fursona as a villain.

It's $50 for standard coloring or $100 for Radiant.


For now, I'm opening up four slots. I may open more if there's enough interest.
