SC Part 9: Reading Draft Vanilla Cream

It's been a while since I've had a vanilla cream soda, so my review may be a little off. I honestly find the vanilla a little too strong for me, in this particular vanilla cream. It goes down good, though, so if you like vanilla, give this a try.

SC Part 8: Kutztown Birch Beer
Posted 9 years agoI decided to splurge today and go for a second soda. Double review!
Kutztown Birch Beer
http://i.imgur.com/7PAzD65.png
At first, I don't think I had ever tried a birch beer. But after tasting this, I realize that one of the famous "root beer" brands you can get at a soda fountain is just birch beer. There's a noticeable difference between regular root beer and birch beer. Anyways, on to this particular brand. It's pretty good. Better than the other aforementioned brand (I think it was either Mugg's or Barq's?). Since I don't have anything to compare the flavors to, yet, I can't truly say if this is a better birch beer than anything, yet. Rest assured, I have a few other birch beers in stock for review later down the line.

SC Part 7: Dragon Tail Sour Tornado Citrus Blend
Posted 9 years agoOkay, so I've decided to put the name of the soda in the title of the journal, from now on. Maybe that'll help.
Dragon Tail Sour Tornado Citrus Blend
http://i.imgur.com/SXdTFrW.jpg
They weren't kidding when they put "sour" in the name. It definitely has a tartness that will make your lips pucker up. It's a good tartness, though. The initial sip might be jarring, but you'll get used to the flavor after a couple of sips. I can definitely taste lime and lemon in there. Maybe a few other citrus fruits, too. Also, like the previous Dragon Tail drink I reviewed, this one is a carbonated energy drink. So if you need a pick-me-up and like sour citrus drinks, pick this one up.

Despite the name "Kitty Piddle", it doesn't actually taste like cat pee. At least, I don't think cat pee tastes like pineapple and oranges. I'm not gong to find out. Anyways, this fruity drink is really good! I'm not the biggest fan of pineapple, but combined with the orange in this drink, I'm liking it. The combination isn't overpowering towards either fruit, so it has good balance. All-in-all, I'd say pick up a bottle. If nothing else, you can weird out your friends by saying you've drank "Kitty Piddle".

SC Part 5: Abita King Cake Soda

http://i.imgur.com/cIfLcAo.jpg
I honestly didn't expect much from this drink. From my experience with a chocolate soda that tasted like stale Tootsie Rolls and a maple bacon soda that was simply disgusting, I've come to realize that sodas based on food are typically not good. I truthfully don't know if this one is accurate to the food at all, since I've never tasted King Cake, but I do know that this soda isn't half bad. It tastes like a cinnamon cake, so I can assume King Cake has cinnamon. The cinnamon isn't overpowering in the drink, which is something they did right when making it. I guess if you want to have liquid King Cake or just a slightly cinnamon soft drink, then this is the soda for you. It does make me want to try actual King Cake, though.

This one is... interesting... I honestly don't know what's going on in my mouth when I take a swig of this. I can tell that it's cherry cola, but there's something more. Or maybe something less? My tastebuds are confused as to whether this soda is strong or weak. I mean, that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's a pretty good soda, for sure. Maybe not my favorite cherry cola of all, but it's definitely good!

Soda Critiques: Parts 1-3
Posted 9 years agoHey there, few watchers that I have! Here's something you may not have known about me! I LOVE soda. Like, not necessarily Coke/Pepsi. Those are alright, but (dare I say it...) too mainstream for me. No, I like the ones you DON'T find in every restaurant int he country. The ones you can only get at specialty soda shops.
Anyways, I recently went to one of these specialty soda shops called Rocket Fizz. It's an amazing place. I wound up with 30+ sodas, though 3 of them I'm saving for only special occasions. Here's a couple of pictures of my haul:
http://i.imgur.com/5k26MTD.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/SZiq3iS.jpg
So what is this journal all about, then? Well, as a soda lover, I like to recommend sodas to others. That's what this is all about. On another site, I've been writing up reviews on these sodas as I drink them, only having one per day. I've already drank 3 and written reviews for them, so this particular journal, along with explaining what I'll be doing for the next month as I drink my soda, will include my first three reviews so that both sites can be in sync.
So here we go:
MacFuddy Pepper Elixir
http://i.imgur.com/R9kH0ZJ.jpg
Well. I really like this one. It's like a more aggressive version of Dr. Pepper with a little bit of cherry cola mixed in. It's quite strong, with an interesting aftertaste. It's got a bit of a burn to it that one would expect from a ginger beer. I say if you like Dr. Pepper and want to try something stronger, I recommend it.
Also, it says it's infused with luck. Whether it's true or not, it can't hurt.

Dragon Tail Lightning Cola with Tea
http://i.imgur.com/a0MuwPH.jpg
This soda is actually a carbonated energy drink, which is good because I drank it on a Monday morning... The flavor of it actually reminds me a little of Curiosity Cola, a drink I've grown quite fond of. It's got a similar herbal flavor to it, with a bit of flowery going on. It might be the tea. Either way, this is one great-tasting drink. I recommend it if you need a morning pick-me-up and don't like coffee.

Dad-Gum-It Root Beer Butterscotch
(I couldn't find a picture of this, so I'll have to take one...)
Part of the reason I picked this one up is because of the name, "Dad-Gum-It!". I also picked it up because I've had another butterscotch root beer in the past (Which was made by a brand called "Dang!" Very similar, eh?) and it was great. Anyways, on to the review. One would expect this to be incredibly sweet, due to the butterscotch, but it's fairly weak in the butterscotch department. It's strong enough to taste the hints of among the root beer flavor, though. It's got some sweetness to it, but the butterscotch does get a little overpowered. It's good, but I think I'll stick with Dang! for my butterscotch root beer needs.

What would you like to see?
Posted 10 years agoSo I've got a few watchers, which I'm a bit thankful for. What I want to know is, what kinds of things would you like to see of my characters? I've got some ideas of what I want to get, but I would like some input from those that, you know, actually seem to like my characters.
I would like to say that I downright REFUSE to get anything on the lines of sexual, whether it's a pin-up or straight-up porn. I am having none of that shit. If that's what you want to see, then... just unwatch me.
If you are more into the action stuff that makes a character look like a badass, you're in the right place. So here's my current list of things I've got ideas to get.
-Music-inspired works (ongoing)
-Arith with one of her exotic cars
-Arith racing
-Ulti with his bass cannon
-Ulti using his sand powers
-Ulti "screen cornering"
Kind of a short list, but... I ain't got many ideas. That's why I'm asking you guys, if any of you are active.

Art Bump
Posted 10 years agoHeya, everyone! I'm just here to say that my mate has an Instagram account where she puts up her art stuff. She's good in my opinion and a clean artist, to boot. Feel free to follow her over there and maybe try commissioning her or buying a work. It might help us get together at some point.

Minecraft Skin Commissions
Posted 11 years agoOk, so I don't necessarily need money, right now, but it helps. Plus, I'm trying to get back into skinning a little because I've got a bit of a to-do list in that department. Anyhow, since I already have experience in skinning professionally, but for free, I've decided I want to charge for my services. When I did skinning for free, I got overwhelmed with orders and had to shut down the shop. Hopefully, charging for them will decrease the chance of that happening.
I'm not sure what else to put, here. I'm new to the whole "commissioning for payment" thing. Anyways, happy commissioning, whether it be me or someone else.
~~~Pricing~~~
Simple human/character skin
Price: $1.00 USD
Description: This is for the simple skins. That means simpler humans and simple game characters.
Examples: Female Left 4 Dead Hunter
Nikola Tesla
Man on Fire
Apocalyptic Man
Furry Character
Price: $1.50 USD
Description: I'm sorry, but until I get some practice under my belt in making furry skins, they're more difficult for me to make and, therefore, take more of my time to make and still be decent quality. I'm hoping that maybe you can get past the slight up in price to get a furry skin, but it's all up to you.
Examples: Ulti (My fursona and current skin)
Complicated Characters
Price: $2.00 USD
Description: As before, the harder it is to make, the more time it takes to make them. This is the price for more complicated characters that require a lot of detail (Which is difficult with pixels, sometimes).
Examples: MARS Hero
SNES Girl
Characters and skins belong to their rightful owners, whether they be game characters or OCs. You can find some of the skins up for free download on my Planet Minecraft account.
~~~Commissioning~~~
I like forms, sometimes, so here is one for you to fill out
Username:
Name of Character/skin:
Description: (This can be a good description of what you're looking for or a picture referencing what you want. If you want a game character, don't make my look it up. Send me some pictures to use as reference. And if you do send pics, please, for my sake, keep it safe...)
Note me with this or email me at discosnail[at]gmail.com to commission.
I'll accept payment through PayPal after I finish the skin. I'll upload a screenshot of the skin to my FA (unless otherwise told not to) and I will message you with the actual skin upon receiving payment.I'm not sure what else to put, here. I'm new to the whole "commissioning for payment" thing. Anyways, happy commissioning, whether it be me or someone else.

College!
Posted 11 years agoWell, folks. To anyone who actually gives a crap about me, I'm starting college, tomorrow. First day, very nervous. I don't know what to make of it. Time just flies. Anyways, any prayers, wishes of good luck, and/or advice would be most appreciated.
Some Questions...
Posted 11 years agoAlright so, being new to at least being active in the furry community, I just have a few questions.
1. Are there any cons that come to North Carolina, USA? Preferably near Goldsboro, but just in the state will do.
2. What kinds of things should I keep in mind to try minimizing the chance of triggering my traumatic memories? (I've already quit Mass Effect because of them...)
3. What kinds of things can I do to help me gain some cool friends? Remember, I'm a little shy. Maybe not as much online as I am IRL.
4. What can I do to help me find a possible mate? A guy can get lonely, sometimes... It would help my self-esteem to feel loved...
5. Would anyone like me to write some short stories about my fursona's adventures?
That's all I can think of, right now. I'm not good at asking questions. But I'd also be happy to take any questions about me.
