Experimental CYOA Comissions on the horizon! [FEEDBACK?]
Posted 11 years agoSo, I was thinking about doing something interesting, which I'll be starting soon after I finish my next story! Tell me what you think about this:
It would be sort of like a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure, with its own special transformation twist! One thing I've noticed, is that even with my commissioned stories, I tend to work very slow, so I want to see if I can change that. Here's the formula I was thinking of for the CYOA:
I post up the first part of the CYOA, with two or three starting options. From here, readers have two options to continue the story towards inevitable TF-y goodness and beyond:
$1: Continue along one of the presented options.
$3: Continue along a custom option provided by the commissioner
$5: (From the first post only) Start a whole new path with a new character and situation.
This way, I can write an extended TF Story in small, quick bursts, making it easy to handle, while its relatively cheap on commissioners, who can guide the story how they want!
How does that sound to everyone? :o I always liked the idea of this kind of thing, but I know that I'd probably never have the impetus to do something like this on my own.

Opening the Floodgates! Special TF/TG Story Commish-Trades

I realized that I can write stuff! And I also realized that I like getting stuff!
I put two and two together, and decided to open up a sort of vague Commish-Trade thing.
Basically, I write you short transformation stories! Here's how it goes:
1. You note me about a TF/TG story you want me to write. Details, species, events, length, etc.
2. I may or may not be willing to write your story. I might be busy, in a slump, or maybe I'm not confident that I can write your story to both of our satisfactions. It happens!
3. If I think I can do your story, I'll note you back, and we'll agree on a price! Price is pretty vague right now, but I'll figure out a baseline as I do more of these~ :D
Additionally, if you want to trade something, we could totally work something out! I like TF art and games. :3
4. I'll write your story! It might take a while, because y'know, real life, but I'll get it done eventually! :D
So if you feel like putting up with my picky shenanigans, silly writing, and sluggish speeds, feel free to commish me! :D
PS: I can also do simple Twine CYOA TF games too! Those are a bit more difficult though...

It's the TFTGRTDRPIRC, or the Transformation-Transgender-Roll-To-Dodge-Role-Play-IRC. To make a long story short, it's about 4-8 people trapped in a dungeon, and must cooperate and compete with their fellow players to transform each other and complete each room's puzzle! But there's a catch: the success or failure of every action you take is dictated by a dice-roll! These games make for frantic and exciting fun.
There are more rules, but I'll post those up later, once I get some people joining in.
I'll need 4-8 people for this game, but don't worry if you don't get in! If this is successful enough, I'll have more of these!

Well, a game that came out recently embodies those things! Allow me to introduce you to Halls of Degeneration, a cool TF roguelike! You can find it here: http://hallsofdegeneration.blogspot.ca
It's still very small in comparison to giants like CoC and Flexible Survival, but I think it can get big! It's actually possible to contribute stuff like items, traps, TFs, and enemies to the game, so if you can do so, or know anyone who can, feel free to contribute or spread the word!
So far, I've put in some really colorful TFs, such as Chicken and Centaur TFs. See if you can find them. :P
