Posted 8 months agoI don't know if it's a coincidence, but I just want to say thank you.
I did this vent journal about the fact that I'v been ghosted by a buyer last day; I just really wanted to get this out my chest because I was so mad about it.
I want to deeply thanks the persons who buyed from me last day; I'll be able to do my grocery, the most expensive will be to buy food for my pet rabbit and the price are just horrible right now because of the tariffs... So thank you.
Ghosting a widespread problem; and it's sad to see that some people are taking advantage of the current economic situation to give false hope to people who just want to be able to pay their bills at the end of the month... I don't try to put all of theses people in the same bucket; I know some people claim and then realize they don't have the fund, or cancel because they have an unexpected event/issue. I do understand theses peoples; at least theses are kind enough to reach me and being honest of why they can't no longer pay... I'm just at a point where my trust is a bit shattered right now and it's a lot of frustration because I know that most of poeples here are good; and only a minority of bad peoples are making the situation so bitter to everyone. The current economic situation is so intense and difficult. I often have trouble staying motivated.
So again, thank you to everyone support, last day reminded me of why I'm deeply in love with this community.
I love you all and I wish we'll be able to get through this.

Long story short someone contacted me saying theyr were interested to buy the wolves girls I did and I ended beying ghosted on a 125$USD invoice so yeah I got a little bit mad.
So yeah I decided to repost them since the sell got canceled :(
It,s just frustrating because I was looking foward for this money so I could make grocery and now I have nothing :(

Posted 8 months agoYeah, so I took my weekend and I don't wanna lie to you.
I feel like shit today.
I just feel... Kinda empty lately. I feel like I hate everything I do, all designs I create, all drawing I do, whatever I write... Just everything...
I was barely able to sleep this weekend and yes, coffee was my only savior...
It often happen to me, having such up and down and sadly, I'm in a down right now.
Happen sometime, sure depression coming back, often happen from time to time.
Just hit hard when it does.
Don't worry, I'll work on my current to do list. Work will be done. Quality will not be affected.
Won't be taking any new slots for a while, I still need to do content for March and I don't think I'll have any kind of energy for new slots.
I feel like shit today.

I'll be taking a moment to reply to all comments and notes, but I really need to take a moment for myself.
Many things happened this week and I'm feeling kinda overwelmed with everything right now, other stuff happened this morning and I just don't know how to deal with it now.
So I'll take the weekend off so I can empty my mind a bit and by monday, I'll be right back.
I need to just you know... Do nothing, I need to listen to music, I need to focus on me, I need to simply read, evade myself a bit.
I'm highly sorry for everyone on my actual do to list, don't worry, next monday I'll be working on all this.
I also won't be taking any new slots, so if you were in a discussion with my regarding a custom or a commission, don't worry, I won't let you down.

Just wanted to share you what happened this morning... Add such impolite person who contacted me for work and they got banned for that.
Due to FA policies, I won't share the name, anyway their account is nowhere to be found now. Good thing.
Long story, tried to make it as simplie as I can;
Them: Contact me for a commission.
Me: Told them that I'm closed so I can finish my current queue BUT I can add them on my waitlist for February.
Them: Explain that they really need a reference sheet done quickly telling me something like; I saw your work and you seems pretty fast. Can you help me please???? I'm ready to pay extra $$$ if you accept.
Me: Has no clue who this person his, it's not a watcher for mine. I'm kinda broke so I decide to hear them out. I'm like; MAYBE I can help if it's a simple character. And that the price would be higher then 40$USD (Me explaining pricing and extra fee.)
Them: 40$USD is too high, try to bargain price, better he can do is 25$USD.
Me: I let them know that I sadly can't work for 25$USD. I wish them a nice day and good reseach to find an artist.
Them: (Ignored me telling them I can't help): They send me a reference sheet; It's a character draw on a paper and it's a photo with poor quality, so I don't full understand the whole thing. Character is awfully detailed (Very detailed). And then they listed me with a million details about the character like; 4 arms, also some mecha details, 2 sets of wings, insert specific tattoo and marks on body, insert 4 differents outfits he want, many accessories, also want to add animals pets along the side, ALSO want a female and futa version along with a male version and cuntboy version, so like 4 different gender version of this character, also he wanted different coats for seasons. Send me a complete novel to explain me the character backstory and bio... And this is just a resume, I never ever got a note that long. And after the note they are like; can you do it for 25$USD???
Me looking at this; 0__________________________0 nOpe, NOPE, nope, nope... I don't want to do that, I won't do that... Knowing they don't have the fund. I reply and let them know that I can't do it. Again, I wish them a good day.
Them: It's not that hard! Just do it please! I can maybe do 30$USD it's all I have T.T Then start to talk about their sick cat???? Like trying to make me feel guilty?
Me: ....................................................................................................................... no (In my mind). I re-told them that I can't. (Like I copy pasted the text I already send them two times...)
Then the shit it the fan.
Them: Call me a *itch. Tell me that I will now do it for free because I was not friendly enough??? Then he started to tell me that he have TONS of followers and they will ask their friends to harrass me because I'm a greedy c*unt who only think about money.
Me with a WTF face: Go to their page because I'm curious; they have like... 5 followers... The account is like... 2 years old, never posted anything. (Where's the TONS of followers??? Why are you to act like my boss???) I decide not to reply, I'm too tired for that shit. Did the mistake to not block them. MISTAKE.
Them 5 MINUTES after: How dare you ghost me now??? (Wow, got pissed because I didn't replied in less then 5 minutes, guess 5 minutes was their patience limite.)
Me: Explaining that I end the conversation now since they are now threatening me, to not ever contact me again or else I will report them. (Like I hate to report peoples, I try not t if possible)
Them: Threathen to find my house in Quebec and (Insert here disgusting thingS to do to a women, then RIP Her.)
Me: .................................................................
Reported them.
Their account vanished one hour after.

Please be kind with your artists, even if you are not happy with the prices... I know life is expensive now, I know a lot of persons are broke now, I know it's not easy but just a reminder. We are all on the same boat and no one deserve to be treated like this. If someone do something like that to you, report them, block them, don't waste your energy and kindness on theses persons.

2025 Tos!

With 2024 coming to an End, I decided it was time I do a new version of my Tos for 2025!
I didn't change a lot of points, but I highly suggest you take a moment to read about it if you are a regular!
I also took a moment to fix my Base's List, it's still not perfect yet, but I'm working on something that I'll be providing soon!
And I fixed some informations regarding my commission and custom; don't worry I didn't touched the price. For now. I now time isn't easy so I plan to keep my prices as for now.

Family's bad news...
Posted a year agoFew days ago I learned that my grandmother had requested medical assistance in dying. It's a thing in Québec where I live; In case of of incurable illness, poor health that could not be cured, degeneration in a person. Poeples can request this. So a few days ago I learned that my grandmother made the request (In Québec you can aslo pre-authorize this Ending of Life procedure if you have a brain degeneration, or any other kind of illness that may affect your jugment as a person.)
I'm not the kind of person to give a lot of personal story, but for making it short; My grandmother is sick since 2 years, she got diagnotic with a brain illness that look like alzeimer and got two cancer (Intestine and breast cancer) Sadly, the cancers are too far and the brain illness can,t be cured. So she's been in pain for years now.
When I learned that, I didn't expected that a date would be choosen.
My mother called me today and I learned that my grandmother choosen her date to be on next monday. at 10 am, est.
So I'm sorry, I'm trying to work on my stuff now, but I don't know if I'll be able to work correctly in the next fews days. I decided that I won't assist the procedure, I won't be able to. But I'll be traveling this weekend to go visit one last time. I'll try to get done the current slot I have now, but I won't be taking any new customs/comissions.
I'll keep updated.

When it's time to pay, I realize that the price is much higher than the year before. (And last year was my first appointment with them, so I had x-rays to do AND application fees)
Last year, I have paid 80$ overall. (I have insurance)
This year, with no x-rays or application fee, just the appointement and cleaning; 114$
Then I asked why the price are so much higher; I'm just told that theses are the new prices.
I'm like... Well okay I guess... I'm a shy person and I don't want to ask more infos.
I mean, don't want to complaint about a 34$USD difference...
But damn, I want it so stop, I'm broke and I just try to feed myself and keep my roof on my head!

Felt like I needed to make a little update regarding many things happening in my life right now.
In the last 2 years, my grandmother used to have many health issue like falling down and some memories lost. She later went to the doctor and was diagnosed with a degenerative brain disease. I haven't been able to find out the name, but according to my mother, it's a disease that look like a lot to Alzheimer's without being it. It was a bit of a chock for everyone in my family.
Then in the past two months, she started to have many stomach pain (We were sure it was because of the medecine she's now taking.) But She went to her doctor again, and it's was really not good news; She has a tumor in her intestines, with lesions affecting her liver. Later it was confirmed; Intestine cancer. Then, because life is a b*tch, she went into more exam, and she also have breast cancer as well.
So in less then a year, my grandmother learned that she has a brain illness and two cancer at the same time. I saw her this morning and it was really painful to see her, because she don't want to show her pain. I feel like life is so unfair right now; my grandmother is a bit like a second mom to me; she's always here for me and she always encouraged me in everything I was doing in life.
I'm trying my best to keep working even if I loose a bit of my focuse because of everything happening right now. I feel depressed and I can't feel anything, I'm just feel pretty empty. I just feel like everything is too much for me right now.
And the fact that things are slower on FA don't really help, it make ma stress a lot since FA is my only source of income right now and I feel like I'm not able to sell anything. I know times are not easy right now; I truly understand and I know that eventualy it'll get better, I hope.
Anyway, I'll do my best.
