Hey there, Zyn here most recent member of the shioni and I just wanted to inform you all for those who don't already know I am hosting a tournament in a few weeks and currently have 7 participants. The rules are fairly simple VGC rules but with a twist you can only use water types, and because this seems like frequently asked question by that I mean any water type including dual types. also the format is to be strictly doubles. A message from Kaza: As a co-founder of a Pokemon group, Umbra Sol, I decided to put together a pokemon tournament. I am calling any one interested to join. We play by the Pokemon VGC rules with a little twist. You get put through Singles, Doubles, triples and Rotations and get points at the end of the match for how many pokemon are still able to fight. So you can earn aanywhere from 0 to 6 points. The prize is yet to be determined. If you are interested comment down below and send me your skype info so i can give you information for your opponent. So lets all have fun.

Yes we have been inactive on fa for awhile. But we are not dead. We are still accepting members who wish to become stronger or wish to face challenges of real trainers (ones that dont cheat or RNG). So if you are still interested send a note to  sadomi with your skype info so we can get you added and started right away. Hope to hear from some new people soon.

Thats right. We have a few of us showing up at AnthroCon. And theres word of a pokemon tournament at AnthroCon. Now I(Kaza/Sadomi) WILL be there no matter what. I want to know who else will be there. Who has the confidence to enter the tournament at the worlds largest furry convention! I expect there to be alot of people. Of those in Umbra Sol and those wishing to enter I would like us to meet up before the tournament begins. If any of you are actually willing to do thistalk to me so we can set something up. I'd like to host a tournament and give away some Lv.1 Pokémon I have bred with very good natures and at least three 31 IVs.
There are 2 Calm Eevees, 1 Calm Porygon, 1 Timid Porygon, 2 Timid Zorua, and 1 Modest Zorua
These babies, quite literally, are up for grabs for those who can prove themselves worthy.

These are the Tournament Rules I'd like to go with.

It will be played in any of the Black and White games.
It will be single battles with Item and Species Clause active.
The participants are allowed a full party of 6 while I'm only allowed 3 and I cannot swap out Pokémon.

Their goal is to beat me and will be scored based on the following criteria:
The number of Pokémon that was used in the battle.
The number of Pokémon the challenger has lost
The number of Turns the battle took to win.

The key to getting a good score is to keep these numbers as low as possible.
I will be available ALL DAY Wednesday.

The tournament kinda flopped. Just lost track of it all. but if anyone is interested in starting it back up just let me know on here and we can get it going again.

Its been a long while! This Is kaza. Or as some of you may know me, Sadomi. Anyway this is a group challenge to ANYONE who wants to enter. I am hosting a tournament of Umbra Sol members. Lets have a little battle tourny. If you want to join Simply comment and you will be noted your number. And it will be randomized so there are no setups. lol. Just to keep it a bit more fair. So I hope to hear from all of you soon. Hope you all are ready for a battle.

Also it will be ALL forms. So that includes Single, double, triple and rotation. If you wanna opt out of any do it asap.

Greetings FA community. I am Gemini, one half of the cofounders of UmbraSol. You won't see me on here as much as you see Kaza, but I am nearly always present.

As mentioned in our last message, we are UmbraSol, a pokemon group looking to expand. Now some of you might be asking, "What sets us apart from Smogon?"

Before I begin, let me just say that I have nothing but respect for Smogon. When it comes to movesets and breeding, Smogon is considered the best. However, Smogon has also gotten a lot of criticism over the years for being elitist, as well as making unfavorable decisions when it comes to banning, the most infamous arguably being Blaziken.

UmbraSol isn't going to be like Smogon. We will accept trainers of all ranks. If you lack knowledge, we will help you in breeding and movesets. If you want to use Garchomp, go nuts. If Nintendo allows it, UmbraSol allows it. We only have a couple of rules.

1) No RNG/hacking. All of the members in UmbraSol breed or soft reset for their pokemon. There are no shortcuts. We work hard for our pokemon. Once again, we will offer to help you understand how to train your pokemon if you don't understand.

2) No multiple items. We want to promote diversity instead of every team having 6 lefties. This forces you to think outside of the box, and once again, this is how Nintendo does it.

Outside of those two rules, we are pretty open. Once again, let me reiterate that we don't want to become a "poor man's" Smogon. I respect Smogon greatly, but UmbraSol will not become a watered down clone of them. We want to have our own identity, and we want to provide players with an alternate playstyle.

So if you are interested, feel free to reply and we will go from there.

Now its been awhile since I've done any updating what so ever here but I plan to change that soon. Now. Let's get to business. We have a few members out there in the fandom. I wuld like to see more. So if you are a trainer do not hesitate to contact us. A few trainers and I are thinking of setting up a battle station at AC this year so if you are going and would like to battle feel free to join. We will be in the zoo. For those of you not going you can still join. Just put your info either on this journal in a note or in a shout. And you will have a test battle to see where you stand. But we won't hold back. Bring your best. Do your best. Let's see what you've got.
