Look who's back
Posted 6 years agoIt's a me, and I'm not dead, I swear. Not thank to those thinking digesting a dragon is a nice thing :/
But yeah, joke aside, I've been working a lot latelly to make another barbftr monster I started last year. A Zorgoia, the voring noodle. Buuuuut yeah.... I missed my shot for vore day. When testing it yesterday I found a couple of game breaking bugs. I won't be able to fix them in time so.... see the teaser in my scrap in the meantime, alright ?
And yup, that's fur it have on it's back. A little something I'm proud off. Easy enough to animate and it looks good imo. What doesn't look too good though is the color sheme. I find it allright, but just that. Not good. It is still early enough that changing the color is a possibility (it will hopefully takes me like 30 minutes doing so ?) so if you have some idea for it, I'm open to them. Otherwise, I have the basic animation done, one long vore move (which is planned to be cut down in a multi-stage one with struggle in between) and some basic struggles. A basic monster all in all so far.
And for the less down to the point stuff.... why was I so silent ?
I mean, one thing I keep complaining about is how artist don't keep their watcher informed when they are on hiatus or something happens. It's annoying to be without information and.... that's exactly what I did. For those who don't know what it feels like to have people expect things from you, like I was before, it is just hard. Hard to come and talk when you don't have anything to show, when you let people down in some sense. That's why I did not indulge in the "I'm alive" sort of journal every now and then. That's also why I don't post the few commission I had been gifted here, not to detract people that came for vore with self centred picture you have no reason to care about. So yeah... I kind of feel bad, hence me feeling I own you a little explanation. Though I don't actually like animating. It is slow, it is boring. My thing is coding. When I was doing the fur patch things, here I had fun. When I'm animating something and I struggle to keep flash from crashing on me... yeah, not so funny anymore.
Oh, also, my "big project" I had after Herukhar is kinda dead. I faced some issues with math that I could not overcome, and after 100+ hours put on it, I give up. No hydra.
So yeah.... that's all for today, happy /horny/ vore day to you all !

Another update
Posted 9 years agoYou know the drill: bla bla bla I'm late, bla bla bla I'm sorry... I would like to tell you it will change, but I know well enough I will always be late...
So... I spent quite some time on this update, but it almost double the number of animations ! Yay ! This one was focused on it's mean set, so get him angry and he'll make you regret it, or... maybe it was just what you wanted ? This set contain a piece of OV and one of AV, amongst other things.
-This update also add a new mechanic I was feeling was lacking in barbftr. You know, if you want to hurt an ennemy you just spam an attack ? Well, no longer, the more you repeate the same attack, the less it is effective, up to no damage and playing a dodge animation. Not that it is really usefull in barbftr, but still, it was bugging me that you can just spam.
-I have changed a bit the conditions for him to lie down while digesting. It is still safe if he really like you, but if not he may just lie down while digesting instead of standing up.
-About the legs issue, it is... unsolved yet, and will never be. I just don't get it why it don't work. On the bright side I have added several failsafe so even if it get stuck in a position it should fix itself in but a few seconds.
-I had originaly planned, and added, messages on most animations (about 4 pages of text).I asked Selicia to check it and... the first half make no sense, and the second doest really fit so... yeah, it wont be in this update. I still don't what to do about this, I'm just not good enough in english to do it alone.
I expect this one to be the last major update about Herukhar. I will fix the issue I can and make some text that actually mean something, but exept for that I don't plan on working on him anytime soon. That don't mean I'll stop barbftr, I just want to start on something cleaner, plan ahead, and try a few new things. That's about every thing I know about my future ennemy, I don't know what he will look like (probably starting on some dinosaur shape ?), I don't know what annimation it will have... I don't even know if it will be a barbftr or a panftr monster... So yeah. Big expectations, little ideas. It turned out well for my first monster, no reason it fail now right ? RIGHT ? plz.
If you have ideas, especially of features or behaviors, do tell me. I can be quite stubborn and picky so I can't make any promise, but at this point it's better to have too many ideas than too few.
I'm dry, I can't anything else to say, so... until the next time ?

Still alive
Posted 9 years agoSo... yeah, 4 months since my last post... and before you ask, no I don't have anything intresting yet. I didn't touch flash for two or three months after the last update so the last set is far from ready, but I guess I have done half of the animation, I will have then to links these animations together, add a few things here and there and debug it, so nothing soon. I have almost finished my exam, next week I begin a one month-long stage and then I'll be on holiday and (hopefully) more productive.
I don't think these news alone are worth a journal, so I have done a little something. Herukhar has quite a number of animation already, so I though some kind of plan may be usefull to someone : http://www.furaffinity.net/view/20013907/

Posted 9 years agoI'm not dead yet, not that I am aware at least, and I have an update ! *insert random cheer here*
I know I have not posted anything for the last... 4 or 5 month ? I originally planned to release this update more than a month ago but, hell, this monster is a real mess. Be sure that if I ever do another monster I will plan ahead.
I still have one set of animation planned (his mean set) but if you have any idea about what to add, feel free to tell me.
Anyway, have fun with him, I have nearly doubled the number of animations (it's about 2 minutes now). On the other hand, I may have missed some bugs, so let me know if you find any, I would be surprised if not.
Until the next time, bye.
