Update, possible story commissions?

I've been writing more frequently even if it's just word vomit, so I have a few rhings I should be posting in the near future. I've applied for a writer's retreat (and been turned down), submitted a story to an anthology (and not heard back), and got involved with a collaborative project for an upcoming con (actually going quite well). I've got a couple more projects lined up as well, mainly more anthology submissions.
I also shared some of my work with a few friends and one of them asked if I was interested in doing commissions, something I hadn't given much thought to. I'd probably like to post some new material here first as reference but I do like the idea, if people are interested

007. High School: My family moved to a different city after my freshman year, so I had no real friends for the rest of my school experience. My dad was overseas for much of this and my mom was always busy, so I was able to get away with dropping a lot of the extracurricular activities that they wanted me to do but I hated doing, like UIL and marching band.
007A. College: I have unfortunately had no good experiences with college. Tried going to TSTC at one point but that place is garbage.

General | Posted 11 years agoAnd adelio convinced me to try a little bit of alcohol. I only had half a drink but it was a pretty strong one and I ended up a bit drunk. I apparently get... "aggresive" when drunk.
I had a bit more the following night, but I ate some chicken a couple hours beforehand and so it didn't really affect me.
Anyway, I don't like the taste of alcohol. Does anyone, really?

I already found a neat app that's inexpensive and seems useful, but I don't like how the eraser tool works... anyway, if you have any suggestions for great art apps I'd love to hear them.

General | Posted 12 years agoSo I'm getting more hours and a small pay raise, plus my tax return came in. Also one of my friends is looking for a job so we can try to get an apartment together at some point, meaning I'll finally be able to move out of my parents' house. That's pretty cool I guess.
