Sometimes I kinda feel like I missed the prime window of opportunity to become involved in the furry fandom... Maybe if I had started as a (younger) teen instead of 18-19 (and only just last year making a serious effort to be an artist) I'd be remarkable by now.

Because I should have posted the last one earlier.

There's still some Tuesday left, so hey, why not?

Well I'm not one but.... Okay, so I'm going through the emails on one of my alternate yahoo accounts and I see a notice from Gamestop that I have 25.930 points saved up and should really spend them on something. Looking through their rewards catalog, I see nothing of interest... except! a 10th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver (24,500 points) and an 11th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver (27,500 points, so I'd need to keep saving up). Honestly I don't really want either of those, but I suppose I could give one lucky fan their choice of screwdriver. Don't know how I'll decide though. If I get the 11th though I'll have to spend at least $100 at Gamestop, so I might need incentive to continue saving.

So while I'm waiting for my phone to stop being broken, I'm working on my first ever explicit piece of art. It's a little plain, but so far it's actually not turning out bad, at least as far as I think. It's a sort of request from someone.

Seeing as how my main method of uploading things was in the form of crappy cellphone photos I might not be able to post anything for a while. Not that anyone cares...

I was part of the closing ceremony for TFF 2013. I got to wear a resin blank by  FlurryCat as it was being auctioned for charity, and here's the video (my auction starts at about 19:20 but just watch the whole thing, it's worth it).

And that actually felt pretty cool, and I want a fursuit now. Time to save up money and do a jizzilion $5 commissions or some such.

finally made it back to my place after driving to Austin from Dallas then dropping off the guy I rode with. I'm tired and glad I don't work tomorrow (thank you illogical work schedule). Will upload some stuffs when I'm less derpy from driving 3ish hours straight.

So it looks like I'll be driving myself to Furry Fiesta after all, my dad said I could borrow his car for that weekend. I plan to leave Friday morning, and could probably take some others along (3, maybe 4 depending on luggage and the fatness of the passengers). Will look for takers later.

I've been working on a drawing for a special friend, whose birthday is Wednesday. I'm actually a bit proud of how it turned out, despite being my fist real attempt at a full body sketch (with a bit of nudity for flavor). I wish I could post it here, but since I'm actually giving the image to this person, I feel it would cheapen the gesture to just have a digital copy anyone could look at floating around.

Sixth generation so soon? On 3DS? This October? And one of the starters is a Fennec? *dies of sudden "dehydration"*

According to the Austin Zoo website, starting January 1st the price of a group visit will be $6 per person. It's a bit confusing due to the way the sentence was structured, but either that price only applies to groups of 15 or more, or having 15 or more means I need to schedule in advanced. Either way, I think it would be best to get at least 15 furs interested before making any further plans.

But I really want to go to Fades's art night this week after work, mainly to discuss the possibility of a zoo meet (meeting at a zoo). Is anyone willing to make a small detour to pick me up (then drop me off) when I'm done with work at about 9:30? I'll gives ya $10

So I went to The Austin Zoo this morning, really nice place, took a few pictures, and bought a pair of plushies. I was thinking it might be fun to rent a van and take a few furs down there someday, since they could really use the business. The only thing that concerns me is that I know some furs are strongly against the concept of keeping animals in cages, but most of these animals were rescued from far worse conditions (like the lions that were kept in a junkyard or the wolf-dogs abandoned after Hurricane Ike), so it should be okay, right?

So it was said at the last art night that there should be more furry related meetups. I was thinking since in spite of listing myself as a writer nearly all of my submissions are art, there should be a writers' focus night for furs. Except i can't host it, and i can't think of any good places, and I don't know what day it should be, and I've never really managed anything of the sort before.

I think i could benefit from a tutor. I really want to do comics or at least illustrated novels, I think they better suit the stories i have rough drafts of...
