New Job!
Posted 15 years agoFinally started my new job (in an actual office, *gasp*), and it's been awesome. The longer drive, however, is wearing me out. Not much time to write, but things are still chugging along. There's plenty floating around on the computer, it just needs to be heavily edited. Here is the little bit that's presentable:
With the recent stress from work, Westley is surprised to find he isn't as excited about the trip to France as he expects. Fine french wines and world-class cuisine certainly have their appeal. And the thought of actually stepping underneath the Arc de Triomphe makes him a little giddy. Yet he can't shake the feeling that he is running away from his problems. He shakes his head to clear his mind.
The more he thinks about the last year, the closer he feels the walls squeezing in. He isn't ever able to identify what precisely is causing him to feel this way. The collapsing economy led to the extra pressure at work, which in turn exacerbated his persistent loneliness. A hyperactive sex drive with no outlet pushes things to just this side of unbearable. Hence the vacation.
He absentmindedly scratches behind his ears, instinctively doing what calms him, and decides to set aside his worries for the chance at some happiness. With bags packed and plane ticket in hand, Westley departs for the airport, ready to begin his vacation; anxious, but hopeful.

One step at a time...
Posted 15 years agoSo, I have the first part of the story I'm writing up. Not much story revealed thus far, so to paint a clearer picture:
Lonely, young investment banker with an overactive imagination (read: libido) struggles with new challenges at work, decides to relieve stress with a trip to Paris. Once there, he encounters a flirty British transplant and, before he realizes it, falls head over heels for the roguish charm and sex appeal this young britishman possesses.
Admittedly, not the most compelling of setups, BUT I intend to make it as filthy as possible. Surely that counts for something?

Gettin' Started
Posted 15 years agoHello, everybody! Newbie here, if my profile didn't make that immediately obvious. I'm working on some erotic fiction that I hope some folks will enjoy reading. If time and finances permit, I'll commission some art of the characters involved for those with handicapped imaginations (like I really need a reason for having drawings of sexy people doing sexy things). Anyway, if you've graced me with a visit, please don't make it your last!
