I have like, three stories waiting for upload at this point. The only thing holding them back is how much I hate working on thumbnails for them - but hey, at least I've installed CSP on the new laptop, so maybe the wait won't be several more months this time.

It's my birthday! And I wanted to have more stories done by now - but what can ya do, life's been hectic!

This journal is secretly actually a call out to ALL OF MY FRIENDS who are wonderful and sweet and fill my life with light and joy ESPECIALLY my girlfriend April!!!!!!! Everyone is the best.

I've been helping my mother with renovations for the last week and a half or so, and I've been too tired to write much. The worst of it is over, though, so hopefully I'll have something fun to share in the next week or two!

I'm soooo bad at posting stuff on time that there are THREE stories more or less ready to go out the door! I'll see if I can get all of them up tonight - just gotta do titles, finishing touches, quick edit passes etc!

I had a lot of fun doing it, she really liked it, and I feel like I've got a much better handle on writing really short pieces without my usual obsessive attention to detail bogging them down. I'll be experimenting through the next lil while with writing companion pieces for art!

Just rereading some of the stories that got me into writing TF -  kotep's BXBI,  skiesofsilver's Morph-o-moo-tic - and it's just got me kind of reflective on how far I've come, where I'm at, how far I still have to go until I can feel like I've captured that lightning in a bottle, y'know?

I think over the last four (!) years I've improved a lot. I've written... sixty-four stories! Sixty-four, wow. Feels like a lot and not enough at the same time. The executive dysfunction means I probably won't ever be able to compete with the other big TF writers on volume (Hi April! Love you!), but I can muscle aside the self-deprecation and say I think my stories are... pretty good, in general!

But rereading those, oooh, I've got such a long way to go still. Take BXBI, for example, against the story I'm working on right now. Mine takes seven pages to get to the TF. I don't regret those 7 pages, because it's 7 self-indulgent pages of my favorite OCs bouncing off each other in a way I've never gotten to explore before, and I'm ultimately writing primarily for myself. Objectively, though, it's clumsy. A lot of people probably don't want to read through 7 pages of banter and sniping before girls start turning into busty strippers. And BXBI, within the first handful of paragraphs, sets up extremely likeable, understandable characters - and the TF is just kicking in. It's masterful, expedient writing that still oozes with character.

Writing mostly OCs and friends TFing means that I don't have as much of the stiltedness you can find in some stories where the characters feel flat as a board, there's history there, a lot of nuance that I can draw on, ways they'd react to certain things. But it definitely adds to how front-loaded most of my stories feel to me. Maybe it's time to explore non-OCs a bit. Or at least new OCs. Though I doubt Ceres and Fel will loosen their stranglehold much~

Anyway, to throw this musing on the internet, I really need an excuse to make it not just internal thoughts, right? So, to those of you who are here to read my stories - hi, has anyone told you you look gorgeous today? thanks for stopping by - what're your thoughts? Anything that really works for you? Sticks out in a bad way? Got you to moan and start touching yourself in pleasant ways? Let me know down below, it'd mean a lot~

I wonder if there are little TF ecosystems. Like, I write bimbofication, I know several other writers who write bimbofication. But I kind of wonder if that's a bubble, like there's other groups of disconnected writers all doing the same theme in their own bubbles and I just haven't stumbled into those ecosystems..?

I dunno, if you've run across stories with similar themes to mine you think I might like, kick them my way!

I'm not sure if I should just start posting non-TF art here (in its own folder) or keep them separate. Since I only ever really use this account day-to-day, the other one is kind of languishing, it's a pain in the ass signing in to do that.
I could also go wild and make a whole new account with a less weird name and re-upload every single thing but I don't think I have the patience for that, so it's pretty much just 'keep using both' or 'start posting new stuff here, for convenience's sake.'

Been struggling with university and inspiration, but I wrapped up some stories recently, and after I finish this next assignment I'll be uploading them - and I think they're really good!

I'm going to be posting two stories I finished recently, as well as some gifts / trades I never got around to putting up!

It always sucks finding out an artist you like is into sick shit. I was a big fan of bubbeh, but they literally posted CP a few days ago (feral TF, parental incest, rape). They took it down because there was IMMEDIATELY a huge backlash, which was nice to see, but consider this a PSA to avoid them if you didn't know about it.

It's the best time of year. The month of HALLOWEEN is upon us! And I am thrilled to announce that YOU have something special to look forward to, even more so than usual - a little event that sprung up unintentionally from some excited writing earlier this summer! Something wild has happened this year, and it's me having written a LOT of stories! A friend of mine says I've done 28 in 23 weeks, which is insane to me. I never imagined I was capable of this much.

And more than that, I never DREAMED that I'd be able to get my writing to a point that it inspires other people. I think three people that I look up to have mentioned that my work has given them some inspiration, or got them thinking or hooked on an idea. Whether that led to something big, something small, or nothing at all - that's incredibly touching to me. I'll keep trying hard to become an even better smut peddler~! Thank you so much to everyone who enjoys my silly, horny stories!

I was wondering, lately, if a tip jar'd be something any of you'd go for? I don't feel like my pace is consistent enough to make a patreon, but a tip jar could work if enough people are interested in my stuff.

As I'll be posting my next batch of stories pretty soon, I'm starting to think about what comes next.

It's been a productive December! Last night I managed to wrap up the secret santa and the gift story at the same time - and I wrote something like 15 pages between the two, all in all. That's gotta be the most I've ever written at once, ever! So I'm feeling killer, hehehe. I'd love to get Circie's story done too, and with a week left before christmas, it's not impossible that I might post 3 stories at once on Christmas Day~

Hey everyone~! Thing have been going really well lately - finished a big paid story, almost done a secret santa. The next few stories I'll be working on are gonna be for christmas, so I imagine the next posts (aside from the big upcoming batch) are gonna be art I comm. No early peeks at the gifts! ^^

Got a secret santa, a gift for a friend, and the Princess story left to do! Big paid work got finished this week.

So, right after I got out of training, a product launch happened, so I'm working extra hours (no overtime, thanks to a 44 hour limit in my province) and mostly not having the energy to write much after work!

I'm still working on a story for  sluttyanimals and a paid story, and making okay-ish progress on each, but pretty much only on my days off as yet. The extra hours should go away next month apparently..?

By which I mean, I've found a full time job! I'm still in training, so I haven't had as much time to myself as I'd like. On the bright side, it's full time and pays decently enough, so there should be more art in the near future!

I've been too burned out to write after work most days, and packing my weekends with as much R&R as I can. That said, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. Syl's story is coming along okay, and hopefully this weekend I can make some good progress on whatever's still on the docket.

I have two paid stories in the works / in planning as well. After that, I think I'll take a break from comms and trades and stuff for a while and just vibe with my own ideas for a while.
