An update, some good, some bad
Posted a year agoHello everyone!
It's been a while hasn't it?
I more or less took June and July off from any major projects and a lot happened during that time
Lets start with the good news.
I got accepted into BOTH schools I applied to and I've made my decision to which one I'm going to.
I'm gonna be studying 3D animation in game design, this is gonna mean a lot for me on both a future professional level, but imagining what it's gonna do for my personal stuff got me hyped.
I hope you guys will follow me on this journey as my 3D stuff improves over the next 2 years and beyond.
My follow up checks for my cancer are also picking up now after the summer.
Now for the bad news.
My tablet is currently dead
Working on trying to have it replaced since it's still under warranty but progress is slow.
So 2D stuff is off the table (and I had a lot of projects I wanted to work on T_T) and edits to the 3D stuff is not gonna be of the same quality.
With my cancer, recovery and now going back to school it's been way too much for me to keep up with commissions.
So unfortunately I'm gonna have to cancel any commission that hasn't already been paid for.
Those who have paid for commissions, yours will still be finished when I have the tablet replaced.
I'm really sorry for this inconvenience but it's too much for me to keep up with.
I hope you'll give me another chance in the future when I'm both feeling better and my stuff have improved throughout the years at school.
But for now I'm really sorry to have to cancel the pending orders but I have to for my physical and mental health.
That's all for now, hope we can see the coming improvements of my work in the future.
Take it easy guys

Happy Birthday to me
Posted a year agoToday is officially birthday
Usually I do a special with Ginger and friends but the recent weeks have been so tumultuous that I just had neither the energy or time to really think of one and make one
I might make one post birthday but that's for later.
Either way I wanted to say thank you once again for all the well whishes when I announced being cancer free, that really meant a lot to me.
On further good news
Things have been looking brighter than they have in quite some time.
I've applied to 3D animation schools and interviews been going smoothly, knock on wood this could be a big step towards future work as well as the future of my personal work.
Insurance company is FINALLY paying me after all the treatment, just in time for my boyfriend visiting for the summer.
Things have been looking up the last few days and I hope it continues from here on out
Take it easy everyone, I plan on getting messed up today

Cancer Free
Posted a year agoSo, we're actually here now
Technically I've been cancer free for a few weeks now. But I had such a bad reaction to the chemo therapy that I felt no need to celebrate.
Not to get into too graphic detail but at the end of my treatment I had no stool softener so it's speculated is that all the chemo therapy liquid absorbed into my gut lining.
Which left me with 2 weeks of straight and constant nausea, not to mention with 2 weeks of recovering with no apatite or want to eat. (Took me long enough to get to solid foods)
In short it's been a very rough time for quite some time and I've recently gotten out of it, I'm still pretty tired and low on energy but as long as we don't find anything during my check-ups it's "Out of mind, Out of sight" as far as I'm concerned, so I'm officially cancer free.
I just wanna take a moment and thank all of you guys for your kind words and well wishes, you have no idea how much that's meant to me
But ESPECIALLY I wanna thank everybody who's contributed to the Q&A, you guys have been CRUSHING it with the questions, I never expected so many questions or that they would be this interesting.
The idea behind the Q&A was to help me continue to make and post things while in recovery and while I'm building up energy for bigger projects and you guys have crushed it. More is coming, I'm just focusing on 2D stuff atm.
TL:DR: I'm now cancer free until we find anything during my check ups
Commissions will pick up again eventually, I'm just building up to it. Q&A is helping to build up to it
Thank you once again everybody

I'm back, in time for chemo
Posted a year agoI'm back!
Decided to leave for roughly two weeks to visit my lovely bf
SigmaTheDragon
I needed a mental health break before I tackle my chemotherapy, which is tomorrow now.
I'm a little worried about potential side effects like hair loss but I've been assured that side effects are minimal or none existent, but I have quite a few meds to help against potential sickness.
So not terribly risky but the anxiety and worry is always there, you know.
Either way, it'll all be "over" soon
All that remains is mental recovery as any potential physical recovery.
Take it easy everyone

Some good news with a side of downer mood
Posted a year agoMy X-ray shows no signs of the cancer spreading, I also now have an appointment at a new hospital where I'm gonna be offered some kind of chemo treatment.
If it's a hair loss injection or a tablet form remains to be seen however.
While this is great news I can't deny that my mood has tanked the last couple of days.
This could be because of the constant discomfort I'm in, it's hard to rest comfortably and it's affecting my sleep.
I'm still in good spirits that things will work out, it's just hard to be excited about it atm.
At the same time, it's really exciting to see how many questions has come in from the Q&A, I never expected to see so many.
There's some really good ones in there that I'm looking forward to get to.
Thank you everybody

Surgery succesfull
Posted a year agoHey everybody
The surgery was successful, I'm very sore and basically slept the entire day after the surgery.
But beyond that I'm doing alright. Now we just need to wait and see what the test results say from my various cell tests, x-ray and such say whether or not it's spread.
Given how early this was found and how quickly all this has transpired, it's unlikely but I'm probably look at some chemo therapy afterwards if my tumor is malignant (Which it probably is)
Anyway I'm fine atm
More importantly the support coming from you all has been amazing, I really appreciate it during these times.
I'm just some dude on the internet looking to entertain (and hopefully entice) you and that you've come to me with this support is nothing short of amazing.
I was very hesitant to talk about all this at first cause I felt I was trauma dumping or fishing for sympathy and in a way I guess I am, but I also felt I couldn't really keep quiet about it.
One to let those who commissioned me know and second, cause it's cancer, it's a scary thing to go through no matter how fast this going and I felt I had to say something at least, if anything to get that anxiety out of my system, so that you've taken the time to listen to me has really meant a lot to me.
Thank you all, I sincerely mean that.
It'll be a while until I'm at 100%, but it's moving forward for sure.

Surgery day
Posted a year agoA tumor
Posted a year agoSo, if you saw my latest submission.
I've been having a major health scare recently and today my worst fear was confirmed
It was unfortunately cancer.
On the upside, I'm going under the knife already next week and the prognosis for recovery is looking good.
So I'm in good spirits atm, though I foresee some rough times in the coming month as I get through this.
Things will slow down a bit commission wise afterwards since I'll be doing follow up check ups as well as the recovery afterwards, hopefully not too badly though so if you're on the list, it's still coming.
Just have things to focus on for a while.
Take it easy everyone

So this is life now
Posted a year agoFound out yesterday that the chronic pain issues I have with my feet that made me drop out of trade school doesn't really have a solution and I'm just gonna have to accept that it's the way it is.
Best I can hope for at this point is different shoes and possibly painkillers.
Commissions are gonna continue as normal, I just need some time to digest things.

Health update
Posted 2 years agoSo... I used to post here, didn't I?
No I haven't given up or anything like that, a lot of time has been taken up by my trade school recently and with that some health issues has come about.
I was born with cavus foot, meaning my feet have a VERY wide arch as well as falling in on themselves, support is everywhere but it leaves me with very intense pain.
I have the means of support to ease that pain but it's a very slow process and adjustments needs to be made until I find that sweet spot.
Sometimes it's gotten so bad I come home from classes and just lay in bed cause the pain is so intense, leaving with very lil energy to work on stuff worth posting.
So just wanted to clarify, I'm not gone, just not there in terms of posting stuff. I'd love to open up for commissions again (Lord knows I could use the money as they're paying in peanuts)
But at this point in time I'd be cheating anyone who bought one from me.
So in conclusion, I'm not gone, I'll just post very infrequently when I can.
Take it easy guys

Been away for a while
Posted 2 years agoHello everyone
I kinda disappeared for close to a month there, I kinda hit a new rock bottom in many different ways, financially, emotionally, fatigue, creatively, what have you. July has just been an absolute crater of a month for me.
Can’t say I’m completely out of it yet but I’m slowly crawling my way out of that crater and hopefully material will start coming back soon enough.
Future aspects are looking to change soon hopefully so hopefully that’ll be a shot in the arm for me

Update and Thank you
Posted 3 years agoHello everyone!
First of all I want to give a sincere thanks to everyone who's supported me for the physical therapy fund, you guys have helped me pay for 6 months of continued physical therapy and I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who's bought a commission from me during this time. I'm feeling much better these days, still the occasional headache creeps in but as circulation of my back, shoulder and neck continues to improve this will go away with time.
My uploads have been rather scattered lately, this is mainly due to my focus on said commission work and physical therapy, leaving me rather tired. But rest assured it's chugging along.
Thank you once again everybody. I'm truly touched by your support.

Posted 3 years agoI just realized that I've passed 500 hundred watchers here on FA and I'm honestly pretty blown away by this.
I'm sure this is pittance for a lot of artists on here, but I never really thought I'd reach these kind of numbers.
I've never really been the most confident person about my art and never thought most people would really enjoy it, so seeing this many do is something I'm really grateful for.
I really do appreciate every fave and every comment you guys send my way, I've been down in dumps recently and this really lights up my day.
Thank you everybody

An update on things
Posted 3 years agoSo, it's been a while, hasn't it?
Remember when I said that I was ready to start working on projects again after my move was done? Turns out I jumped the gun on that one.
Now prior to the move I had taken on a few commissions for my trip overseas to see my boyfriend, which took place shortly after I moved
I thought I could handle doing commissions and the move at the same time, obviously not and coming home from my trip to the new house it all came over me and I just completely crashed and wasn't able to really do anything major.
Followed by my birthday and having a tussle with Covid during the summer.
But there's no other way to put it, I screwed up and I owe an apology to everyone I owe commissions to.
Had it been my own stuff I wouldn't really make a big deal about it but I feel I needed to address the people I owe commissions to.
As you can see with my latest piece though I am working again on stuff and making my way through commissions at a steady pace.
I'm really sorry I've made you guys I owe commissions to wait, but it's coming.

Move complete
Posted 3 years agoAs some of you might've noticed I had taken quite a while in between my uploads for a while.
That's because I've been in the process of moving house since a while back now and it was quite an ordeal sorting a house and two storage units holding over 35 years of family history.
But it's done now and I'm settling in to the new place and ready to take up work again.

WANTED: Model Rigger
Posted 3 years agoHello everybody!
As the title says, I'm looking for somebody to re-rig a model for me
I would love to use the horse model from Yiffalicious more but it's missing bones for the shoulders and deforms quite a bit too easily.
So if you or somebody you know have experience in rigging 3D models by all means contact me through Notes.
I'm willing to pay/trade/whichever have yah to have this model working more properly for future projects.
Doesn't need to be perfect, just need to be more functional than how it works now.
Hope to hear from yah

Happy New Years Everybody
Posted 4 years agoWell, we’re coming onto a new year and I’ve been surprisingly productive this year all things considered. Now I feel is the time to get a bit mushy and touchy-feely.
I started posting actively here about 3 years ago at this time and I’m honestly just overwhelmed at the support you guys have given me during all this time, I never thought that I could or would be able to cultivate the following I have today and I hope to take it further next year.
I’m so grateful for everyone who’s ever watched, commented, faved or in any way shape or form interacted with what I made.
Thank you everybody, I can’t describe how grateful I am, I went from a really dark place mentally to one of great enthusiasm wanting to improve and do better each time I made and posted something, you guys have been a real driving force that me.
Thank you everybody
A special thanks to
Rodinsinker for going the extra mile to include my girl Ginger in his work, thank you, your inclusion with my stupid stuff means the world to me

Ko-fi acquired!
Posted 5 years agohttps://ko-fi.com/unstablegoat
I decided to create a Ko-fi for an alternate way to pay for commissions for those who don't really want to use Paypal but also in case anyone would feel really generous and would ever like to tip me.
Now naturally nothing is going to be paywalled and everything is still going to be made available here but any tips would really help me out and I'd be incredibly grateful.
So thank you on beforehand

Posted 5 years agoI have as of today now progressed through one year and can feel myself sinking deeper into the boomer swamp
Thank you all new watchers and COMMISSIONS
Posted 5 years agoUsually I want to go around and personally thank new watchers individually for watches and favorites. But it's been quite a while and there's been so many of you at this point and though I would love to interact more personally I just wanted to extend a thank you to all of you.
Thank you for all the Watches and favorites, you have no idea how much of a motivator this is for me :>
Now, COMMISSIONS!
I've decided now that I'm feeling better on a more emotional level I've decided to start taking commission for anyone interested while working on a larger SFM commission project.
I'll be posting my rates in the commission tab but if you are interested you can send me a note and we can discuss prices from there in the meanwhile :>
And for a March special I'm taking steam gift cards as payment!

Introductions and what's been going on recently
Posted 7 years agoHi there everybody.
I just wanted to start off by saying:
Wow, what a big influx of watchers in the span of 4 days. How did this happen, where did you all come from and how can I replicate this effect? :P
I'm honestly kinda taken back just by how many new ones has shown up in that amount of time
I'd like to be as interactive as possible with anyone who chooses and wants to be and writes so I just wanna say Thank you so much to everyone who's chosen to watch me here on FA, you've all made it a really welcoming environment.
Secondly if you're an older watcher of mine you might've noticed that I haven't uploaded as much, if anything in recent times. The reason for that is because I got enrolled into college recently. I'm studying "Visual communication" and I moved into my new room about a month ago now and it's been a pretty intense one with introductions, frat business, studies, bank issues and getting acclimated to everything and the new environment.
So sadly submissions has naturally taken a big slowdown because of this, but things has been in productions for a while now and I'm planning on releasing a big batch of new stuff soon enough.
I think that's about it for now. Thank you everybody once again

I think that's about it for now. Thank you everybody once again
Take it easy now
