Well I was planing on going to Anthrofest this year but not anymore it would seem!

Getting kicked out of my place since the landlord is building an extension on the back of the house so I gotta find somewhere else to dwell. Kind of pissed off about that because I just got a half stack 150 watt line6 amp.. and didn't even really get the chance to be evicted for playing super loud guitar. Like, this thing shakes the house at 2 =)

Almost was gonna be a roomie with a couple of furs BUT i smoke weed and drink from time to time so that automatically makes me high risk and a trouble maker rofl! fucking uncool..

My bands gotta a show at a bar for a friends birthday in June and we don't for sure have a singer. That may be settled today at practice though.

Yeah so I sent my first skid pallet of product from my store to habitat canada [ http://www.habitat.ca/ ]rougly one grand worth of product and much more to come.. fuck am I ever glad all that hassle paid off. I feel like a million bucks at the moment and now it is time to play some guitar! =D

Itreyu [ http://www.furaffinity.net/user/itreyu/ ] - What can I say. I love this guys shit. He's band is(was) raw and tight and held no punches. Musically speaking he was very good especially being self-taught and for the fact that he played all of his stuff including his metal riffs with no pic on the guitar (ouch!) and has a very effective metal scream and held an obvious passion for his music. Check out his gallery if you like rock/metal and check it all out! It's killer.

Woo!! wasn't sure if i'd actually get 5 people who would want a sketch from me. Thanks so much all. They will be coming however long the wait. My sketches are random and I would like to post my better sketches so all of you will actually have me attempting a few different versions of you sketches.

For the past last week at my work I've noticed a huge amount of barely damaged or semi-defective product and even some that is totally fine but the customer returned it with some bs exscuse just plain being thrown out and I'm not just talking about small piddly little things.. like multiple $500.00 vanities being thrown out because there is crack on the wooden frame. The majority of these products are still perfectly fine (and could be easily fixed) but yet they are being blatently wasted. It's fucking disgusting to see the waste.. and i hate it. So I go to the managers to see what the fuck is up with this and why..

Essentially it's them being lazy as shit and not wanting to put the effort to get it to people or charities that might see. And they flat out told me NO they won't change what they are doing which is fucking insane. Not only would the store save a shit load of money on tax returns plus good public relations they would more importantly actually be helping people.. so myself not being one to stand for that am having to phone up all the vendors and reps that well their products in out every last one of em (their's so damn many I can't imagine how long it will take me) to get authorization from them to give these products to charities and such and get this they don't want to pay me for all the fucking leg work I'll be doing but I'm going to do it anyway since it is the right thing to do. I just hope the vendors won't be dicks about it as well and co-operate otherwise I got a ton of convincing and more phone calls to make. So cheers! people I got a shit load of phone calls and paper work to do.

figured I'd try to post a meaningful journal entry here (you know stuff you'd see in ones real journal or something)

So I on monday when I arrived at work at 6am I punched in grabbed a coffee and went to head out for a smoke (I had recently quit so I guess you could just call this a slip xP) and the manager who is doing the exact same thing as me is totally chewing me out for having a smoke wasting company time even though I'm waiting on his ass so I can get started and calmy tell him to fuck off and that he should then lead by example leaving him with a very bewildered looking expression. Normally I would have just taken it (hey one has to get paid right) but I've been feeling abit depressed lately and wasn't going to take any of this hypocrites shit and I didn't get in any sort of trouble at all. (people have been fired there over less..) After that happenend my mood took a positive step which I really needed.

Admitedly I'm still dealing with alot of the cliche events and reactions with friends and family reacting to me being gay. Just kind of treating me different or poking fun too much that it makes me want to beat the shit out of someone. Usually I could care less, but at some point it becomes very tedious to deal with at least for abit.

I think another reason for my not so positive emotional state can be attributed to a decrease in a lack of guitar playing.. My right hands middle finger is still pretty swollen and my job does not really allow it to heal in a timely fashion. Anyway working on a few new songs and am developing a growing urge to delve into my classical music pieces. As well as scoping out the scene for a new singer for the band as our current one will be leaving shortly.

Got a few Drawings in the work but my injury is also making griping my pen a tad painful so progress is fairly slow on that as well.

So my best friend and bass player finally went off to rehab last saturday night and not a moment too soon... like he really needs to get his shit under control *sigh* anyway I hope he gets better. I'm trying to get him a job for when he comes back to keep him more occupied so he doesn't slip back into the same bullshit.

In his debt filled drug abuse he gave his bass away as collateral to a dealer!!! and we're in the middle of recording a demo. I knew he likely wouldn't be around to put his bass lines down, so I would do it. But now I got to borrow a good enough bass or rent one and he'll have to buy a new one when he gets back. So that totally sucks and I specifically told him to NO MATTER WHAT never use your bass and/or amp for that purpose.

In lighter news I haven't been doing much drawing what with being in the studio constantly when I'm not at work. I've also recently got Gunstar Super heroes for the GBA and man does that game kick some serious ass!

Been wondering if I should even bother to upload my music. I don't think most people would take the time to listen to them even... and I don't want my awesome riffs being stolen. I'll have to think about it...

If anybody has any thoughts I would like to hear them!
