I got a twitter like a week or 2 ago.
Its very new to me and just something I post random junk to.
So I'm posting bout it here as opposed to my main account.

-What made you choose the species of your main fursona?-
Snow leopards are my favorite animal. Originally she was a snow leopard/ dragon but later changed that to sheep as dragon felt to much. Sheep happens to be my chinese zodiac sign, which matches my personality well, so it works out.

-Is your fursona just like you, or how you want to be?-
Originally was more how I wanted to be, much more outgoing and happy. Now her personality is equal to mine as I've grown more confident.

-Does your fursona have the same personality you have?-
Yep.

-Does your fursona have the same dislikes and likes as you do?-
Yeah.

-Does your fursona look like you at all?-
No, not in any way heh.

-Is your fursona the same gender as you, if not why?-
Yes.

-Do you have more then one main fursona?-
No. I have many characters but only 1 sona.

-Do you have a back story for your fursona, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?-
I have some backstory but it doesn't exactly tie in to my own.

-Is your fursona mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?-
Yes to both.

-If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?-
Taken.

-Is there something special about your fursona that you think sets them apart from others?-
Species, design, her super power that is rarely talked about :P

Yes, fan art is on  uruart then there art I draw myself.

-Would you ever consider parting with your main fursona, if so why?-
I've briefly thought about it a time or two since I've had her for so long and I've changed in personality. But she has grown with me and become apart of myself.

-If you suit, do you have a suit of your main fursona?-
Yeah, thats what this account is all about lol.

-Have you ever roleplayed with your main fursona, or do you prefer not to?-
No. Even when I rp-ed when I was younger I never used my sona in anything.

-Do you consider your main fursona to be a part of you in any way?-
Yeah. She is essentially me, a fantasy version of myself.

I'm sad to see that the rumors are true.
I know its been said, but dang. First FCN now Furfright.
They were both cons that I was hoping to attend in 2014!
Its like if I haven't been to it yet and I'm considering to go they're running away, heh.

But seriously, heard such good things about it, I'm sad I never got to go.
I wish all the best to the people who ran the con and are presently having issues. Thats never a fun time and I hope things improve for them.

There have been whispers of other's maybe taking over the con and keeping it going. I'm sure everyone hopes that will happen. I'm not going to be super hopeful on it but it would be a nice surprise if that went through.

No more cons ending forever this year and next guys!
If anymore close down I'm gun be worried about fur cons going extinct! D:

So if you recall my previous journal, I was investigating other cons to go to as FCN was our plan that fell through.

Now it is official, I'm going to FWA~!
I was there before the hotel move and heard about last year's debacle, but I hope that with a year under their belts in the new hotel they'll have it under control and it will be a fun con once again!!
Its not a brand new con for me, but its still quite a travel from PA to GA. And in the winter too so I'll get to go from cold weather to warm~ For being fluffy thats not really great but psh.
So expect to see me there!

Other than FWA its quite likely that I'll be at AC once again. AC was the first fur con for me and I really never want to miss it~
We'll prolly try to get in the main hotel this time. Anything else is to much of a time suck for walking.

Those are the big con plans. No idea if we'll try for one in 2014 fall. Its a full year ahead so I don't know where we will be with money.
Its also why we're planning on skipping furthemore. Its a close con with a lot of friends, but its also small and we'd really rather save our money for the big ones.
Between all that will be furbowls and and the New years ball.
Fun funs.


On unrelated note I will be putting out a video on my youtube soon!
Summer was busy and I didn't take the time to make anything, so my youtube has been a little dead :<
I really want to make more silly stuff to entertain with.

This year was fun. . . but not as eventful. Or rather I made it to just about nothing.

We were in the DoubleTree. Which was like a 15 min walk to the con.
So 30 mins there n back. plus like 20 mins to get in suit.
So if I wanted to walk round out of suit to buy stuff, then 'quickly' go back to switch into suit and goof around, it was an hour ordeal.
So I pretty much spent more time out of suit than in suit.

I bought all the things I wanted though~
And I also made it to the big ballroom events that I wanted to go to.
Went to all the dances~

Honestly there weren't as many panels I wanted to go to this year.
Or rather the 3 panels I actually wanted to go to were all on top of each other. So I only made it to one. The rest were maybe whatever panels, and they were skipped to eat and walk back n forth.
I also REALLY wanted to be in the Duke dance video thing, I had memorized the dance before the con, but I missed it :|
Sat it was after a big panel (which I didn't suit to cause I wanted to be comfortable and actually see things). So the hour ordeal made it impossible to go to. Then sunday I skipped it cause... Lets just say I couldn't suit at all on sunday. I mean I could partial, but I woulda rather have fullsuited.

And I was in zeus once. Once. Not even fullsuit. Just partialed for a dance. Thats it.
Also if you're gun ask about the shuttles, they used as much time if not more with you having to wait for em and hoping they actually showed up.


Before I forget! I almost got all caught up on negatives.
I met and talked to awsome people this year!!
I love all the faces I know now, ran into tons of friends. And Love that I got to meet some new faces! I can't wait to see you all again either the next con or next year~ <3

So in closing, Anthrocon was fun.
I missed a lot of stuff and didn't get to suit as much as I would have liked.
Next year I gotta be in a closer hotel.
4th of July was nice~
I love meeting and interacting with people! I want more of it <3

I'd blame my room mate, she must be doing some experimentation, but this isn't to shabby.

I really want to make videos. Comedy videos, con/meet up videos, practice dancing videos, anything! I was thinking of maybe doing furry movie reviews too. We'll see if that happens though.

Just finished watching the dance competition videos from MFF.
Gosh they're all so amazing and talented and hnnnnghiefjs;ifj.

I forget when I first got introduced to fursuit dancing. I know the first time I went to AC in 2010 I didn't see the dance competition and didn't really know much about it.
Maybe it was the next year round when i saw it in person and was amazed and started looking into it a bit more.

I've never been partial to dancing. I know high school and under I was terrified of dance floors and thought I'd make a fool of myself. Anime raves were the next thing and those had tons of people in em so really all ya did was jump around in a huge crowd.
Then I did furry cons. N ya'll are dancing machines! Fursuit friendly dances, raves, then the dance comp. I love dancing now, lols.

Every time I watch a dance comp I just think. I wish I could do that. Its so breath taking. I want to be a part of it.
Dance circles I still find intimidating. Last AC there was one at the dead dog dance and i pretty much avoided it. I guess all the eyes on me and only me make me way to nervous, heh~

I really want to practice, build my self confidence in this sort of thing.
My house is tiny and doesn't have a ton of room for flailing around in. My backyard I could. I'm on a main road that people frequently walk by on. So i guess a smidge nervous about people being lol whut, though thats really not a huge deal.
I just need to man up and at least try!
The only time I have was at past otakon (in Zeus) in a tiny dance circle. Learned a good bit about what I need to work on there at least, heh.

I guess I'm mostly rambling.
I just wish I could dance~!

Don't know what to say really.
I'd love to have PCD still, and trust me monday I totally did, but I had to jump right back into the daily work and exhaustion that I really couldn't spend time to dwell on it.

But I bought all the things I aimed to buy there.
Danced at all the dances/ raves like a crazy person~
And saw TONS of people I've chatted with on the interwebs along with all the awsome people I see at local events. Got to hang and play and have a great time with everyone~
It really made me realize how much more active I'd been in the community and how great that made everything~
I'll say I'm happy to be here for definite~

Sorry I can't give more of a summary but I really just want to emphasize that it was a great time as opposed to going over every single detail.

Eventually I'll get up some photos, once i find a decent amount :P (almost there) Might find some videos too~ Who knows.

So lets get real here for a sec and talk bout anthrocon.
I know I did the meme but I thought I'd make another little journal that will get straight to the point and important notes.


So obviously I as Uruhei will be at anthrocon~!
I'm getting there sometime Wednesday, prolly early-ish.

I'll prolly be a freakish human at the con at some points, so if you want to find me its very likely that I'll always have my tail on. Or if you get close enough I'll have my badges.

If you want my attention I'll answer to Uruhei or Uru (if you have no idea how to pronounce my name the shorter version tends to be more accurate.) RamCat is also a good variant, lol.

I'll probably be darting all over the place at the con. I rarely stay still if something isn't keeping my attention. Running to panels, rummaging through the dealers den 20 million times to decide if I really wanna buy that thing, running to headless lounges, going to dance it up~! All the things!!

Welp, got back (to my house) late monday. Oi the traveling x.x Feel worse for Mr. Flash who had to drive that whole time. I'm so tired still I have trouble just driving 30 mins to school. Still catching up on sleep.

But so, other than traveling, FWA was awsome~! :)
So many people I didn't know, haha. Was fun meeting everyone, and seeing people from round here that I know~ And the weather :D Was pretty much 85 outside every day, was fantastic. Though I hear it was in the 70's up here, and still is. Well its good that spring is coming :) But I'm a little sad we didn't quite get time to explore the city. We really only went outside to go out n eat, and flash mob Momocon :3 But would've been nice if we went to the aquarium or something. O well, next year hopefully.

FWA must be like.. THE best dance competition. I tell ya. They were all amazing and just about every best dancer fur was there! It was fantastic getting to watch them in person, and on the same level too. Not up far away on a stage like AC. I like FWA's set up way better.
The dace/raves were great fun too~ I enjoy me some flailing and pretending I'm a good dancer, lols.

The decor of the con was quite pretty too. Lots of red, white, and black. Quite classy looking~ I feel a little bad for the hotel staff in the lobby though. Seemed like they were required to wear animal ears. Some of em seemed to not enjoy it to much. I understand that, if it was of their own will it'd be cool, but it felt forced. They also had plushes hanging from all the lights and such. Seemed a little silly. The hotel is kinda a little to friendly, haha. But it was a gorgeous hotel none the less. (Next year its moving though. Interested to see what the new space will be like.)

The panels at the con were quite good. I would complain about the schedule they handed out. It was organized by room and not really time. It took a bit of effort to figure out how the panels worked out time wise, as for what overlapped and such. They actually had a schedule pasted in the space (in the oddest spot that I doubt i would've seen if I wasn't looking for a trashcan) that was organized via time. And that was soooo much more helpful. This is how they should organize the hand out schedules next year.

Thats the only complaint I have, and seeing that this journal is getting lengthy I feel the need to end it.
Hope everyone who went had a great time~! I definitely want to go back next year, via a different mode of transportation hopefully, lol.
