Hey all,

You may have noticed I’ve removed many images from my gallery, I will no longer be posting morphed images of models that have not cleared consent to edit or doesn’t implicitly state that images are free to edit.

I always felt kinda weird about posting these images so to feel better about my gallery and the art I produce I have decided to remove and just move forward with my own images plus ones I have cleared editing consent.

I started to make macro photomorphs and much to my surprise they were very well received! Every time I made one I felt like I got a little bit better each time and improved on both the visual and even the writing aspect too. Your Favs/Watches/Comments as well as my artistic progression drove me to make more and better pics - to try stuff I wasn't comfortable with - all in an shared experience that I've never had in my 10+ years of being on FA. It was the single best thing that has ever happened to me as a furry.

Now, when I'm searching for new photos, or struggling with textures I don't seem to have the same energy - it all feels like work. I don't enjoy the end product as much as i did when I first started, but everyone still seems to like them and I want to keep you all happy. I feel there's a disconnection between me as the artist and my work - people praise the work I did but I have a hard time accepting it knowing I gave up on my linework to be here.

So with that weight in mind, I'm thinking of taking an extended break for photomorphing to focus on my linework, fixing my tablet setup, and starting the 'Draw-a-Box' program. This will take a looong time but I hope you all will stick along with me on this journey.

And who knows! Maybe I'll improve on my linework just like I did for photomorphs....hehe

Wanted to make a bunch of journals but usually too scared to post most of my thoughts and chicken out at the last second, but here are a few things that have been weighing on me;


The Kudu Images:
When making my photomorphs, I’ll take some time to find animal bases that will work for the image at hand. Most of the time like Hyena/Cow subjects it’s really easy to find good images of happy/healthy animals. When I did the Kudu set… holy shit the amount of dead Kudu’s were heartbreaking. Seeing all those fuckhead ‘hunters’ taking murder-selfies - its was like 95% of what was on a google image search. I had to go to a zoo’s twitter page to find any sort of image that I could use without feeling like shit. Then I go back and look at my gallery and wonder how many other animals were abused and I just couldn’t tell… shitty feelings abound.


Imposter Syndrome:
Lately I’ve been trying to get back into linework again - I posted something I’m proud of and that was awesome! But the more I try to start again, the more I feel I am unable to draw the simplest things. I can’t even seem to doodle or sketch properly, just a bunch of uneven, jerky lines that look horrible. I know I can create things I’m proud to post but I cannot seem to get a sketch off the ground. It’s really frustrating when you don’t have much to draw in the first place and most of the time I find myself deleting what I started. I’ve considered doing the Draw-a-Box thing but when you have so little time, drawing just basic lines doesn’t seem to have much of an appeal.


IRL Work:
Now that it’s June, Q3 develop starts and I’ll be expecting another large workload. It feels like only a couple of weeks ago we were wrapping up QA for the last quarter, and since then I’ve been working support for our company too. Not that it’s all bad, I’m comfortable financially but I have almost no free time anymore. I can’t even goof off and play videagames as much now. My thumb blisters are even gone wth :B


Character Sheet and OC:
I realized that with my extra funds I should commission others if I’m unable to create, and honestly it’s been some of the best moments I’ve ever had as a furry. I never reached out much before and everyone I talked to has been great and super helpful. I should get a character ref sheet together to make it easier for artists but the more I look at Rick (my bull dude) the more I see others OC that I may have inadvertently ripped-off. Like there are tons of other big, muscle bulls with much more fleshed out personality than mine. I feel more comfortable drawing/photomorphing Rick than any other OC I’ve created but should I continue if I feel he’s sorta derivative? Or just make up something new?

Did they really think that mixing photo realism and anthro characters would go together? Since when, in the entirety of history did that ever work out?

Hey everybody!

I'm going to start of by saying a big ol' thanks to everyone that has watched, faved and commented. Thank you all again, I really do appreciate the support!

I do however have some bitter-sweet news. I have been getting tons of overtime at work for the past few weeks now and it looks like it won't be stopping anytime soon. Good part is I'll be financially stable, but I won't have much spare time to make photomorphs. Just so I can catch up on the older, already made requests, I'll will be no longer taking new requests formally. You can still send me notes for requests I just can't guarantee that I'll start them any time soon... or finish them either :/

I hope that's cool with everybody! I'll keep posting as much as I can - again thank you for the support <3 ya!

I wanna start off by saying a extra big thanks to all of you who've watched, faved, and commented since I started the photomorphs. It means a lot to me and knowing people enjoy the work I put into it makes it worthwhile. I know I haven't been responding to shouts and such but I was feeling anxious starting this and just reading everyone's comments so far has only helped me grow and feel welcome. Thank You <3

With that being said, I am going to be taking a little break for the next few weeks for my summer vacation. I won't be around here but I will be returning in late August or early September.

Also it seems I'm getting a few requests. For requests, I would love to be provided with base art to work with - I'd prefer that it would not be personal photos (I'm not entirely comfortable with that idea yet) and I would prefer no porn or genitalia. Also for requests I won't do any subject matter I'm not comfortable with, as long as it sticks to Macro/Micro, Vore, Stomp and such it will be fine. If you'd like to set something up just send me a note with the details.

Hey everybody,

Just quickly finished the first 3 images in the second chapter late last night, there will be 2 more images for this chapter later when i solve an issue with one of the shots.

I'm also thinking of doing an mma themed pic with "Rick" (Bull/Minotaur char) but that'll be later down the road.

And thanks to everyone for the watches and favs, they mean a lot to me and keep me going!

Hey followers,

Just a heads-up I'm going to be experimenting with photomorphs in the next couple of weeks. At this point I've only done the one 3d pic but its has been difficult getting set up with a 3d rendering environment with a crumby computer. So I'll be switching styles to a less taxing type, think oystercatcher7's old stuff but with macro themes and foot fetish junk in it.

I just to make sure everyone is aware before i post a bunch of garbagey awkward photomorphs in your feed. Sorry in Advance! LOL!
