Since i've been making a lot of ascension stories throughout the years, with more to come, i'm also pondering about perhaps going through them and compiling each story series into one large story and upload it here for those who want to read such.

Basically combining all parts of, for example, Unearthed Power into one big story once all the parts are done.

So if there is any interest in that, feel free to voice it.

Okay, making this journal to give some good news.

I'm finally now getting back to normal again, so expect me to begin uploading my long backlog of comms from the past many months.
Likewise, i'll soon get back to uploading some storystuff, as i have a ready story from September waiting upload, and a new one being finalized at this moment~

So, been a little bit since i last uploaded, and that's partially due to a little break i had last month due to work getting busy. Though i was working on something quick at the end of it, i also planned to get my pc rebuilt to get it more up to date, and that...took longer than planned.

What the store planned to be done in a day took most of a week, and somehow the pc returned with Windows 11 instead of 10, so a lot of the time since has been spent trying to figure that out and get used to the system, thus i've not been able to get much done.

Though i plan to get back on track soon, get that story uploaded, and all that, however it will come with a change.

Due to the swap, i'll need to move onto another program to write stories, and that one is not entirely compatible with docx, and as such i'll likely be fully moving onto PDF for my stories from now on. The story waiting for uploading will still have a docx version available, but future ones will likely not be available in docx.

Heya all.

I'm going to be entering a more busy time, since of a new job and such, thus i'm not sure how much time i will have to work on stuff.

Because of this, i'll be closing my commission queue for now, and work on finalizing the remaining chosen commissions.
I will open up in the future, however, and still run an YCH from time to time, however i'm not sure when that will be, as it will depend on how much time i will have with my new job.

Today i am 30, during year of the dragon no less.

I am now officially old, so time to whip out the cane!

And we are into the new year, and it has been quite the exciting one indeed.

Been doing a few changes in my personal life this year, including doing what has been requested for a while: actual story commissions. It has done great things, honestly, and i am eagerly looking forwards to what else 2024 will bring.

I will plan to continue doing commissions, of course, but also make a few more positive changes, i hope.
So let's all hope for a grand 2024!

As mentioned in a previous journal, i'll be trying out something differently this time around, and not open for a limited time, but rather keep a queue on hand with ideas to pick from when i decide to take on comms.

I'll be thus leaving the form open for the foreseeable future, and contact people when i get ready to take on more comms, and see if they are still interested.
At the same time i am also now keeping the form open for people to submit multiple ideas if they want.

If your idea is chosen, but you are not ready when i contact you, i will keep your idea in the queue for later, and/or be in contact for when you would be ready.
There is, however, no guarantee your idea will be chosen if you submit one.

Also note that i have made a slight change to my ToS, which is that i have changed when i charge for a comm to after the 1st draft is complete, instead of when the story is complete.

Heyas all.

I've been doing commissions now for about half a year, and it has been going great, with tons of fun ideas and chars to work on.

However i've been pondering about changing the way i open up, and have decided to change away from the openings i have been doing so far, to instead keep the form open, and instead pick some ideas whenever i wish to take on a few, and contact the people who submitted them to check if they are still up for it.

So i'll plan to try this for a bit and see how that works out, then eventually decide which of the two styles i end up preferring.

To that, i'll likely open up the form sometime in the coming week while working on this current batch, and from there we'll see how stuff will pan out!
When i do this, i'll also open up the form for multiple ideas sent in per person, instead of it being limited to just one as it has been so far.

Hyas all.

A few real life stuff have popped up for next week, and instead of nudging my work schedule for it, i've decided to nudge it back a week to give myself more room to work on what i need to take care of.

This also means i'll be extending the commission opening period for another week, until Friday, October 6th.

The relevant posts, mainly this journal, have also been updated to reflect the new opening window.

As part of my ongoing opening, i forgot to alert people about an update to my commission information.

It is something that has been requested a few times, and which i am experimenting with now: split payments.

TL;DR, for commissions above $160 i offer the option to split payments into two parts: one paid after the completion of the 1st draft, and another paid the month after(or rarely, another date). The finished story will be put on hold after completion while i wait for the 2nd payment, and will be uploaded and sent to the commissioner once it is received.

And we're onto the next opening, while i work on finalizing the comm in the last batch~

Heya all.

So, with the first batch of commissions completed, i've gotten a nice good feel for it now, and as i imagine that a few may be wondering what the plan ahead is, i figured that making this journal was a good idea.

So, first of all, i do plan this to be a semi-regular occurrence, so don't worry that i will be doing it as rarely as i have done other non-ascension story things.

The plan going forwards is thus to alternate between ascension stories and commission openings/commission work, where i will either take on a smaller batch of comms like i did just now, or take on a larger one to spread out between ascension story parts.

I will also plan to open for larger intervals, around a week, to give people time to think about ideas and all that.

It has been a pleasant test, and i've learnt a good few things, to which i've updated the form a lil', as well as my ToS based on some feedback.

I am looking forwards to seeing what ideas will be submitted the next time i open.
And though it is not 100% decided, so far it seems the plan may be to open on June 23rd, where i might open up for Long stories as well.

Ideas are not first come first server, and the form will stay up until 18:00/6PM CET on Friday, June 2nd, when it will be closed. That will be around two days and 4 hours from the posting of this journal.
Once the journal is closed, i will pick commissions and contact the people i choose.

I do not know how many slots i will pick, as that will depend on the story lengths and ideas, but the goal is to finish these during June.

Greetings everyone. As i am readying for comms, i am also dabbling in various other ideas that i may entertain in the future, and i've created a poll to prod for interest to see what people may be interested in.

The poll includes both interest in comms, as well as the potential of YCHs for cameos in the larger ascension stories, and potential Patreon stuff for early access. I have no specific plans to do the latter two soon, but i figured it could be worth it to check the interest!

A final notice after last week's.

At the start of June, the form for requests will be deleted due to me moving over to commissions.

If you plan to save your idea for later, do so now, because if you have not saved it elsewhere by that point, it will be permanently gone.

And, as the last journal said, no new requests will be accepted at this point.

So, i've had my request form up for a few years now, and though i haven't gotten through as many as i would've wanted, i feel it is time for an update regarding them.

As i will likely be transitioning into doing actual commissions this year, i will be phasing out the requests, however [the form will remain open for a while in case anyone wishes to save their ideas to submit during a future commission opening. I will not be accepting any new request submissions to the form.

So, the form will remain open until the start of June which will be when i will delete it. So if you want to save your idea for later, be sure to write it down!

If any of you cannot see your submitted idea, keep me informed. I will also post a final notice closer to June.
