is having an SL ref sheet so horrible when not all of us have the ability to have drawn reference sheets?

I am disabled and am on a very very limited income but luckily i was able to put aside some money to get one drawn by  boxhead [which i cannot wait to see it when he is done]... but not everyone is so lucky or have the skills and/or talent to make their own...

So, I ask again: Why is it so horrible to have an SL ref sheet if it is the ONLY thing you have and can afford at the moment?

Update to my health situation:

Ok here is what the doc said to me today, he confirmed that my lymph node is basically 2 tumors, so on monday i have to call another doctor that can perform the biopsy inorder to take them out of my neck.. I am a bit in shock but otherwise ok.


Update on living Situation:

This are back to being ok for now. so i still have a roof over my head...

well here goes... last week i was told by my doc that i have a tumor in my neck and so this friday i will have a consult with the surgeon to schedule the biopsy, but today i find out from my brother and his boyfriend that before i can even get a chance to find out if this a malignus or benign tumor i have to look for a new place to live.... this has basically thrown all my plans to save and move out of wack and everything that i need to do before this move to TN...

when i need him to have my back he basically is saying that he could careless..and wait it gets better the reason he wants me to leave is because his bf MIGHT have a virus on his heart... how is THAT my fault?

I always try and keep a positive out look on things but WHat is the positive on this?

Well i got the results of my MRI today regarding the large mass on my neck where my right lymph node is... and so i was told that they suspect to be either cancer or a cyst so this means that i need to now go to a neck surgeon to get it biopsied... a bit nervous to be honest but i am being hopeful that it is just a cyst.

... when people use serious terms like AIDS or Rape in a joking matter. Honestly when has Rape EVER been funny and how can you joke about AIDS. It is NOT funny. Go ahead and call me overly sensitive if you wish but being a rape survivor and living with HIV/AIDS I dont find it at all funny or cute.


Honestly if take a moment and think about how harmful and hurtful words are especially when they are serious words with serious meanings and twist them into a joke then how do you expect rape victims to come forward when they feel they might be turned into a joke or someone that just got diagnosed with HIV/AIDS to take their diagnosis seriously.


I am not trying to kill fun I am just trying to remind people that words are very powerful things and we need to be mindful on how we use them and not just throw them around just we think it might be funny or cute because it is not.
