1. Baseball is my first love. I have been passionate about it since elementry school and was a Texas Rangers fan for all of their playoff seasons.

2. I have a scar going up rthe middle of mmy left thumb from when a volley ball pole fell and split the skin and muscle in two when I was a child

3. Doom was pretty much my introduction into video games, and my dad was the person that showed it to me. He used to set up networks at work to play Doom after hours with his co workers.

4. I seemed like the least likely canidate to love reading considering how hard it was for e to learn as a child (I have disgrapia), but I have loved to read since grade school. I started off with old Hardy Boys books (Actually, I have had 2 copies of the Witchmasters Key. Both were stolen from me toward the end of the book.

5. My mother bought Doom for hte Playstation thinking that my cousin had one. HE did not. They gave it to me.I had a game for the PSone before I had a Psone.

6. There are a lot of nasty rumors flying around about me that make it so that people wont even give me a chance. It is a little ironic when hyou take into consideration that everyone that does talk to me on a regular basis loves me.

7. A lot of the time I would prefer to buy music on vinyl than on CD,. I am something of an audiophile, to say the least, and Vinyl sounds better for those that have the system. I have the system

8. About 10 years ago, I was listening to a lost of top 100 rock songs that te local rock station was putting on as voted by the listeners. Metallica got 3 out of hte top 5. Dont ask me what songs. First off, my birthday was on the 9th of June. thank you Silver for the new icon. Isn't it adorable? She drew it for me for my birthday. I went over to my parents house and had cake and home made ice cream with my parents, my grandparents, my brother and my friend. I got money from everyone. With that money, I was able to buy a 30 gig Zune, which has not come in yet. It should be here soon. That is enough space to fit all of my music on it, with about 10 gig to spare. That's cool. I didn't really want to get a Zune, but it was cheaper than the Zen and the iPod. It was also brand new. Awesome. I also got Sacred 2, which I am loving. I have a level 8 Temple Guardian. It is everything I hoped it would be. While nothing in particular may be spectacular about the game, it is very addictive, thanks largely to it's multiplayer. I got a 250 gig harddrive for my PS3 as well. I thought about spending htat cash on the Ghostbusters video game, but I saw that I had something like 2 gig of free space on my PS3 and knew I needed a bigger harddrive. Not bad I think. Can't wait to get my MP3 player.

I have been job hunting. I shaved off my beard and mustache, which I am not happy about. I think I look better with them than without. I also decided that I will cut my hair if it will get me a job. I really don't want to. I love my long hair, but I need a job, and I need it yesterday. I am desperate at this point. I did talk to Best Buy today. I filled out an app over hte weekend. I went up there today and talked to a manager who took my name and number and said they would call me for a phone interview this evening. They did, and they said they are having a job fair at the end of the month. They said to attend that, and I would be interviewed right on the spot. I also filled out an app for Target. I hate their app. IT is long as hell, and takes something like an hour to do. I am going to go up there tomorrow and try to land myself an interview. I hope I have better luck this time. I have been turned down by them more than once in the past. When I askled them why, they didn't give me an answer. They just said that they didn't pick me. I hate hearing that. Everyone says I didn't do anything wrong. THEN WHY CAN'T I GET A FUCKING JOB?!

I decided on a name for my weekly music journal. The Lost and Forgotten. It will be a weekly journal featuring one band per week that are, in my opinion, underrated. It's purpose will be to bring lesser known bands to your ears in hopes of expanding your tastes to include new music. Just because a band never got popular, it doesn't mean they were bad. I hope I can bring new music to you all. Obviously, everyone has different taste. What one person likes, another may not. I do ask that you don't flame the bands I choose every week. If you don't like it, fine. there is no need to say something like "This guy sucks. He can't play for shit" or whatever.

Tonight was the launch of hte Ghostbusters video game, and my local gamestop had the pleasure of getting the Ecto 1. I don't have the cash to preorder it, but I couldn't resist the urge to see the Ecto 1. The TErminal Reality team that developed the PC, PS3 and 360 version right here in Texas was there as well. They were signing copies of the game for everyone. Awesome. The Ghost Busters fan club showed up in full gear, including PRoton Packs, and there was a raffle where the winning tickets were drawn from a ghost trap. How awesome is that? Oh. There was pizza, hot wings and soda as well. IT was a lot of fun.

Anyway, as you might expect, I got the first of my birthday money yesterday. I am saving some of it, but I had to buy something for myself. It's my fucking birthday money. I want to get something I will like. Not just gas and whatnot you know?

I will start off by talking about my trip. As some of you know, last weekend, I went to Oklahoma for 4 days. The trip was long and tiring. I slept in a different place every night, and 3 out of hte 4 nights,. I slept in a place that did not have air conditioning. I was so glad to get back to Texas and sleep in my own bed with air conditioning again, and I was absolutely worn out when I returned. It took several hours to sort through all the submissions, journals and comments. Damn you people use FA a lot. Haha. The trip was enjoyable, for the most part. My DS started fucking up and wont stay powered, even when I have it plugged in. That sucks. IU visited some family I know and a whole bunch of family I do not know. That's always akward. They all knew my name, and I was standing there going "um....who are you? Do I know you? Have we ever met?" I did update my twitter throughout the entire trip, and I found the charger for my cell phone that I thought I lost when I moved. Haha. What are the odds? My friend Pierce, my brother, my father and I went to a casino and I lost 5 bucks playing video poker for well over an hour while drinking. That was fun. I kept the 15 I had left over.

I got home on Monday. Yesterday, I went up to Half Price Books wit the specific purpose of looking through their record collection in mind. I browsed through every bit of their rock section, and I was surprised at some of the things I didn't find. There was no Hendrix, MEtallica, Sabbath. Zeppelin, The Doors, ect. I would have thought there would have been more stuff that I like, like....I don't know...ACDC and Aerosmith. I would be wrong. Yes. I do collect records. I have 2 record players and thoroughly enjoy listening to them. Vinyl sounds better than CD if you have the player and stereo for it, and I do. I did find 3 albums that I wanted. I found Rock the Nations by Saxon, Defenders of the Faith by Judas Priest and The Magicians Birthday by Uriah Heep. I wanted to buy all 3 of them, but I only had enough money for two. I wound up getting Saxon and Priest. They were both excellent choices, if I do say so myself. Both albums were excellent, and there wasn't a bad track on any of them. Oh well. Maybe some day I will find another absolute gem there like when I got If I Were Britania, I'd Waive the Rules there.

On another musical note, I still want to do a weekly music journal for all you audio lovers out there. The aim would be tpo expand your music library by bringing up bands you might not know of and showing you examples of their music and why I love them and think they are underrated as well as some information about the bands. The problem is that I need a name for it. Suggestions for a name are more than welcome. Help me out here, would you?

I may have 2 places where I could possibly wind up working. Both of them are in the Shops at Willow Bend, which is a mall about 8 or 9 miles from there. There is a Sbarros there that is not owned by HMS Host. I talked to the manager months ago, and he said if I bring my resume by, he would probably give me a shot. I brought it by yesterday. He said he doesn't need anyone now, but summer is coming and business is likelyh to pick up. I got the phone number for the place. He said Cinnabun is hiring as well, so I filled out an app there and gave them a copy of my resume as well. Tehre is a farmers market grocery store that just opened near me where an Albertsons used to be. I spoke with the manager there, and she said the yare fully staffed right now, but the turn over rate is high for that kind of place. She said to fill out an online app in about a weeks time. I'll make sure I do that.

It is hard to believe that I am going to be 24 so soon. For those of you that do not know, my birthday is coming up on the 9th of June. Oh man. Not even a weeks time. It is so close. 24. Wow. I don't feel like I am 24. On the 14th of this month,. I am going to the Texas Rangers game for my birthday, along with my brother, my parents and my friend Joe. IT should be a lot of fun, and I am really looking forward to it. Damn I love baseball so much. So. Whatcha gettin' me? Ah. I'm just messing. I don't expect anything out of any of you. :) The only thing I asked for was a 30 gig or more MP3 player so that I can fit every last bit of my music collection onto it and have it on hand at all times. That would be nice, seeing as how my ipod is so old that it is pointless. Teh battery lasts about one hour. I can listen to one albums worth of music and it dies. I may as well just bring a CD. Haha. I take that back. I gave my brother a list of 4 games for him to choose from for my birthday. Star Wars: Force Unleashed. Infamous, Killzone 2 and Mirrors Edge.

E3 is finally over, and Sony absolutely slaughtered the other 2 this year. It wasn't even close. Their press conference was 2 hours of awesome, and they had several big announcements, contrary to what was largely believed prior to it. Metal Gear Solid: PEace Walker looks brilliant. I was glad to see Nintendo not totally suck this year. They had a number of good games at their conference. New Super Mario Brothers Wii looked cool. Mario Galaxy 2 looks like more of the same, with Yoshi. That is not overly exciting, but it is not a bad thing either. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers looks like they might be taking the FFCC franchise in a more serious direction. They announced a third Golden Sun for the DS, which is awesome as hell. The Conduit looks great, and Dead Space Extraction looks nice. Far and away, though, the best thing they showed off was a new Metroid game DEVELOPED BY TEAM NINJA! If you have played Ninja Gaiden or even seen gameplay of it, you know why that is awesome. Microsoft had some cool stuff too. They announced Crackdown 2. It is about damned time. All around, not a bad shoiwing, and we got to see a number of cool trailers for upcoming games. THE DS IS GETTING A SEQUEL TO DEMENTIUM: THE WARD! That is so awesome and unexpected. Final FAntasy XIV looks much more like the FF I know and love than FFXIII does. I am much more excited about it, even if it is online. Star Wars: The Old Republic had a trailer that looks better than all 3 prequels combined, and there is a new Metal Gear staring Raiden as he is in MGS4 that is coming to the PS3 and the 360. Awesome.

Many of the people I want to apologize to may not see this, but here we go anyway

My name is Valereth. Many of you knew me by the name of my old fursona, Vornwrath At the end of last year, and a bit into this year, I did some very assholish things. I called people relentlessly. I circumvented numerous bans and blocks on multiple websites and chat programs, among other things. I am well aware that what I did was wrong, and I am truly sorry. To everyone that I hurt through my actions, I offer my most sincere apologies.

Last year was one of the toughest years of my life. I was jobless for the majority of the year, and, despite job hunting daily, I was not finding anything for a large number of reasons. I have always had trouble confronting people. I am very shy. Interviews are not easy for me. I am always afraid of saying the wrong thing. My hand writing is horrible because I have dysgraphia. There are a number of other reasons. Interview after interview, I got turned down. I asked why, and was told things like "You didn't do anything wrong. You just didn't get the job." Things like this caused stress to constantly build in me. This combined with much more severe circumstances that I wish to keep to myself (a few people know the whole truth. I have told Ruwrak) because they are very personal and hard to discuss with anyone, in private or otherwise, caused stress to basically build to the breaking point., I had what could only be described as a mental breakdown. I couldn't handle it and did so very poorly. I got severely depressed. I was crying nightly. I believe I was having severe panic attacks, and I needed someone to talk to. I would get so depressed that I would become afraid of myself even, which led me to desperately try to get a hold of people, thinking that if I could talk to someone, I would not do something stupid. I know it was stupid. I know it was wrong, and I am sorry. I actually did hurt myself one night. I was told that it looked like I had been scratched up by a cat. It was just.....I couldn't handle it.

I know this is no excuse for things I did, but I felt I should still explain and apologize. Give this one more try. I am so sorry to all of you that I hurt. I really, truly am. If you cannot forgive me, that is fine. I understand. Just know that I am sorry

I was a huge fan of both ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. Those two transcended video games and were true works of art. They were breathtakingly beautiful in every single way that a game can be beautiful. The visuals. The sound. The unique gameplay. The atmosphere. The art style. Those two games were a site to behold and two of the best games on the Playstation 2, of last generation and of all time. This trailer has to be their upcoming Playstation 3 title, and it brings back memories of playing both of those games with it's fantastic art style used in both of the first 2 games, it's boy that strongly resembles the one from ICO, it's atmosphere and it's music. This trailer made my whole week and it made me that much more excited for E3. Just this 3 minute clip alone does an outstanding job of driving your emotions and making you feel both the isolation and the friendship of the boy and the massive creature. It's been a long time coming, but we should finally see something from Team ICO, and I could not be more excited about it. This didn't just make my day. It made my whole week.

Now. Onto FA business. I have been thinking about running a weekly thread about unknown bands that I think are great and deserve more recognition than they have ever gotten. I love music. I live for music and I want to share the undiscovered gems with anyone else that might potentially like them as well. I already have a band in mind for week one. I have run the idea by a few people, and the response was overly positive. People seemed to think that it is a great idea and something I should definitely do. That being said, I need a name for it. Suggestions?

I am going to do a picture based off of Left 4 Dead. this one will take some time. I have never done anything as complex as this before. Anyway, the basic idea is 4 furs stuck in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. I will probably do something like an overturned bus that they are all standing on with weapons at the ready surrounded by hordes of zombies.

and I apologized for my part in us all going way overboard last night. I got to thinking while I was talking with her through text and I came to think about the things I said and did and realized that I really do not like who I become when I get severely depressed and let the negative rule me. It is not who I want to be. Not by any stretch of hte imagination. The glimpses you hafve all seen of the me that is a joy to talk to and isn't in a bad mood. That is who I really am. that is who I always have been. As a result of this, I came to the decision that that is what I am going to do. Instead of focusing on the negatives, I am going to try to let things go more often and focus on more positive things. While it is easy to see how one could arrive at the conclusion that life has just dealt me a shitty hand, that kind of thinking will not get my anywhere. I am going to do my best to stay positive and focused as well as working harder than ever before to find a job. We got the dog 10 years ago. She was 6 or 7 years old when we got her. She was given to us by my aunt and uncle that live in Manitou Oklahoma.

I was with my dog until she was taken away from me and I couldn't be with her anymore.

You can only get it if you preorder the game. Before you say anything, I did not pre order it. My friend Joe did. The reason why he entered the code to get the demo on my PS3 instead of his is that he is not allowed to connect his PS3 to the internet.

Anyway, today was the day that the card listed to download it. Well, today through the 20th anyway. I knew that, with the internet here, it would take a while to download it, so I just entered the code and left it downloading before I took a shower and left to job hunt. Downloading the thing took something like 8 or 9 hours. It wasn't done downloading until some time after midnight. Damn, that is a long time for one demo.

Anyway, first my friend played it. (His card with the number on it. His preorder. He plays first. I would feel like an ass if I did - lol). He spent a good 45 minutes playing the game, a more than surprising length for a demo. I have gotten used to demos being 15 minutes and it ends. This is different. this actually gives you a fair sized chunk of the city to explore as well as 4 total missions to do, You can spend a good length of time just collecting and searching to see the city without doing much of the actual missions in the game. I loved that about the demo. IT didn't give you a tiny bite of the gameplay. It gave you a nice chunk of what promises to be a fairly lengthy game that leaves you longing for more when it is done.

Anyway, I must say that this demo impressed me. The city is alive, or as alive as it can be with it being such a desolate place. It is fun to explore and the wall climbing and whatnot feels similar to Assassins Creed, without that whole accidental jump to your death thing. There are a number of different things to help you get throughout the city. You can grind both up and down power lines as well as railroad tracks. There is an ability that lets you glide from one place to the next, and hte platforming is fluid and not frustrating.

The game demonstrated a number of different powers. You have a few basic kick and punch moves that are enhanced by lightning, but your most basic power is the ability to shoot bolts of lightning from the palm of your hand. You hold down the L1 button to go into aiming mode to do this. IT is simple and easy to use. You can also use it from behind cover. Hang off of the side of a train with one hand and shoot lightning with the other while remaining behind cover. Beyond this, you can jump from high places and send a shock wave out from you in all directions that goes along the ground. There is an ability that is similar to force push in The Force Unleashed where you use electricity to shove people and things out of your way. One of the coolest abilities is basically a lightning grenade., Cole throws out a ball of lightning that explodes a second or two later. If that weren't cool enough, if you hit an enemy with it, it sticks to them. How awesome is that? I already mentioned the glide ability. You can jump from high places and glide to the ground. It's pretty cool.

It is a sandbox game. If you have played any Elder Scrolls, Fallout or GTA game, you should know exactly what that means. You can go anywhere and do anything. The city is full of civilians and how you treat them effects your status with them. You gain or lose karma based on your actions in various missions as well as what you do inbetween missions. If you help citizens or save ones that are dying, you gain karma. If you kill citizens or drain them of life, you lose it. Not only does karma effect how people react to you, but it also effects your physical appearance. That is a cool little touch that Sucker Punch threw into the game. Your lightning also turns red when you are evil. That's a cool little touch too. The red lightning looks badass. The game lets you play missions both as a good and a bad guy. I think there are 2 missions as a hero and 2 as a bad guy. It seems like the karma system is really well done here.

All in all, this was a good, long demo that shows just how good this game should wind up being. Sucker Punch is a top notch company. If you have played the Sly Cooper series, then you probably already know that, though. These guys know what they are doing. I was a bit worried because they haven't done serious games like this before, but this put my fears to rest. Color me impressed, and keep your eye on this game. IT should be very good.

Every hotel I have stayed at for the past 5 or so years had a wireless connection, My computer uses a hard wired connection to connect to the internet. For some reason, this hotel is different. The internet connection is hard wired,. not wireless like I thought./ The result? I HAVE INTERNET. I just thought I would let you all know that. God I am lonely though

I just thought I would let you all know. This may be my last journal for a while. As some of you know. I am getting kicked out of my house. I have to be out by Tuesday, which means I need to do stuff like finish packing tomorrow. My mom is sticking me in the Extended STay Suites, an extended stay hotel near here, for at least a month. I will have a place to live, but I don't know if I will have internet at all there. If I do, my access to places like this will be severely limited, I would imagine. The internet there would be wireless, and my network card is wired. That kind of sucks but what can you do? I gave my number to a few people who are welcome to talk to me if you wish to keep in touch. If you want my number NOTE ME TODAY ABOUT IT! If it isn't today, it will be too late. Best Buy's game sale was today, and I picked my friend up early to take him to that. He got himself a copy of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and Soul Calibur 4 for for the Playstation 3 for 10 bucks each. Not a bad deal at all. I really wish that I had some money to spend on that, though that best buy did not have the one game I want the most from the list (The PS3 version of Enemy Territory Quake Wars. I own it for PC, but, again, wired network. My PS3 is wireless, and I might be able to play on it). I guess that would have made it a pointless trip anyway. Eh. I probably would have picked up The Darkness. Good game. I really enjoyed the story.

Oh. I got to talk to Nataya on the phone last night. For those that don't know who she is, go to my profile and she is listed under my favorite artists. CLICK THAT ICON AND WATCH HER! LOVE THE SHIT OUT OF HER! I ORDER YOU! Ok. Maybe not. She is awesome though, and you should watch her! Anyway, yeah. She asked if she coujld call me for a little bit before she went to bed. A little bit wound up being something like an hour and a half. Haha. I really enjoyed talking with her. It was a lot of fun. I am going to have to do that again some time. :D

I went to Half Price Books yesterday looking for a few books. The two books that I wanted the most are The Amber Spyglass by Phillip Pullman and The Veiled Prophet by Richard A Knaak. They are both the final books in the two trilogies I am currently reading through. They had The Amber Spyglass, but it was not where I figured it would be. I thought it would be in sci fi/fantasy since it is a fantasy novel. Nope. It was in Juvenile Fiction. I found that a little odd. They did not have The Veiled Prophet, though. Damn. The other books I really wanted are The Watchmen, which they had but was 20 bucks, World War Z, The Zombie Survival Guide and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Doggy likes to read!

As far as packing goes, I have gotten to the point where I need help. The next step is taking my speakers off of the wall. I have my speakers for my surround sound head unit mounted on the wall. Unfortunately, they are not surround sound speakers. I run it through 5 bookshelf speakers. They are heavy and bulky. Getting behind the thing is going to be hard. Making sure the speakers don't fall to their potential doom when I know I cannot afford to replace them takes more than one person. For now, I get to sit around and wait. I took my whole mess of cords for my entertainment system apart. I did part of it last night and the rest today. The only thing still hooked up at this point is my PS3 is hooked up to my TV. That's it. I will just run the sound through HDMI and deal with shitty sound for my video games, no matter how much I hate shitty sound.

Anyway. Yeah. This sucks ass. I am not happy about it. I went and saw the basic set up for the room that I am going to be staying in, and the word of the day is SMALL. I swear to God this hotel room is barely bigger than my own room. It has a half stove, so I can cook things on top of the stove, but anything that requires cooking it inside the stove has to be done in the microwave. Damn it. Cooking it in the stove always tastes better. IT also has a fridge and a shitty little TV which will promptly get moved to be replaced by my much-less-shitty but still little HD TV because my asshole father won't give me the TV he promised me when I move out until I actually have an apartment. THE THING IS 37 INCHES! IT IS TWICE AS BIG AS MINE! WE WANTS IT! PRECIOUS! PRECIOUS!

Once again IF YOU WANT TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH ME, SEND ME A NOTE SO I CAN GIVE YOU MY NUMBER! I am not going to post it here.

EDIT: DO NOT TELL ME TO SELL MY HOME THEATER STUFF! I already tried that. I tried to cell a 6 CD changer, a DVD player that supports both NTSC and Pal and does progressive scan and a head unit with a set of speakers for it. I got told no on all of it because it is too old. I am not even kidding. they told me it is too old. Apperently age is more important than quality. I don't buy crappy stuff. I never have.

Now for the good news/ While I am getting kicked out, I talked to my mom last night.
