Once I polish off the last few commissions I have in queue, I'm going to step away from FA.
I don't feel like I really 'belong' here, so I'm going to find a different site to work with. I appreciate all the help over the years and all the awesome people I've met on this site.

I've been kinda fading from here anyways, and I've changed a lot as a person and an artist and I'm planning on persuing other goals. I came here because my husband wanted me to be appart of this community very badly, and while I never really felt liek I meshed well, it's somethign that has come up a lot recently and it's kind of beating me down a lot more than anything. :)

Workign on commissions, got three done today which only leaves 10(12 including two standing art trades) more to do!

I am going to try and get eveyrthign done on tuesday and wednesday of this week! I will be streaming all day wednesday and maybe thursday too, depending on if husbando wants to do anythign! <3

Okay, so my oldest has cancer. I'm going to try my hardest to work and get everythign done but this takes #1 priority above all else. I'm stressed, anxious and generally unpleasant right now, and I do apologize for the large wait that has been palced on some of these pieces!

Gonna /try/ to get some art done today.

So far I've had to run my cat to the vet for a surgery to remove a tumor neither me, husbando, or the vets have any idea what it is, and that's been pretty eventful and stressful for meeee. u3u;

I have a therapy appointment today, I am not prepared for a 1hr long drive dear me;;

My goals for today are as follows:

1 headshot
finish up 2 of my 3 owed YCH's

Not 100% sure I'll be able to follow through and finish these, but that's what I /want/ to get done today. u3u; <3

We as artists are definitely 100% allowed to cancel commissions and refund clients.

I do not want anyone think that it is unacceptable for artists to terminate a commission on their own terms- whether it is because they can't find the time, they have sudden personal issues pop up, or the client become hostile or passive aggressive and makes the artist uncomfortable.

I am very lucky that my clients are all very wonderful people who I am very happy to work with no matter my personal mood. Sadly not every artist has that luxury.

TL;Dr if you are shitty to an artist they are 100% allowed to terminate your commission as long as the money used to pay for the commission is returned to the client.

Sorry to be a debbie downer, ya'll, but my dad's in the hospital. I wouldn't be opening commissions for this but he lives quite a bit away(four hours) and I need money to get up there and back(gas, boarding, etcetera)
