Valindil's Character Information and Traits
General | Posted 14 years agoAppearance~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Valindil is a female European dragoness standing 5"9' when on two legs, and stretching 4 meters from head to tail when on all four legs. She has long white claws that can retract and bright ruby eyes, her iris sometimes shining like diamonds when the sun hits them right. You also see an ivory-white horn emerging from her forehead, the first of many small spikes that run down her spine. A rose bracelet rests on her horn, silver entwining stems with emerald leaves and ruby roses that wind around her horn in a delicate, lovely ring. Your eyes fall on her right arm, where a metal biotic arm has been attached; a result from a spell that was meant to kill her. The metal arm extends from her elbow, and for her own personal delight, she tinted the steel pink. Around her neck is a collar, large enough to be easily seen like a flag. This dragoness would not call herself a shape-shifter, but she can change her physical structure between a bipedal and quadrupedal stance.
As most creatures take to first impressions she prefers to remain bipedal in public, considering her four legged form to be rather... untame... for civil society. The scales down her front are a lighter pink and smooth to the touch, though they are tough as plate armor for such smooth scales. An interesting aspect is her chest; she has the form of breasts without having nipples. Her arms, legs and chest are toned to show she has some strength to her without having to appear too muscled. Between her legs, her slit is rather hard to see unless she's in heat or aroused. She doesn't need to practice modesty, after all her outer scales were designed to protect her body, giving her an added bonus of making her girly parts hard to look at if she doesn't want you seeing them. She has a tattoo on her left hip of an intricately designed blue heart, which contrasts sharply with the natural pink of her scales.
She does not like to wear clothing, for she does not fit into anything, and most times, she burns her garments accidentally. She is 1272 years old, and from her long life, she has accumulated a lot of experience in the use of Magic and life's little situations.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ScentThe dragoness has an extremely complex scent. The strongest would be her natural pheromone, the scent of a female in her prime years. She also smells of many different... environments. Rainforests, beaches, cities... for those with a finer sense of smell, the smell of soil and earth is on this dragoness, mixed with a fine smell of burnt wood or a raging fire. She also has the smell of fresh blood around her even though she seems to keep herself impeccably clean, indicating her desires for long hunts to keep her predatory skills sharp.
CharacterValindil hides her dark, blood-stained past behind her smile and friendly nature, though just like any dragoness, she's prone to ferociousness at any given moment thanks to that past of hers... She's got a very interesting story to tell, should one be interested in hearing it, though it does not make for a good bedtime story. It's definitely no fairytale.
FireValindil is a fire dragoness, and she can also use magic. I tend to stay away from her full potential because power gaming just really presses my buttons. Valindil has an impossibly high heat tolerance. The hotter she is, the happier she is. Fire, lava, doesn't matter. Doesn't hurt her. She can breathe fire, and she can keep it up for as long as she wants. She can also consciously control her body temperature, both her core temperature, and her surface temperature. She can be burning up inside, yet remain only warm to the touch. The only exception is when she becomes aroused - she gets very hot very quickly, only because her focus is... elsewhere. She can also heat things up without touching or flaming - Fire Projection, I'll call it. It's not magic, and she only uses it to make herself comfortable.
FrostThis is the death of Valindil. So all you ice dragons, or arctic creatures, keep yourselves in check. The hotter Valindil gets, the thinner her blood becomes, and she can be faster, more agile. But drop that temperature and her blood becomes thicker. The lower it goes, the thicker her blood, until her heart just stops beating. A very slow and agonising death. So you can understand she won't be too appreciative.
Power GamingWhatever Valindil does, I will never power game. She may bark a fireball at you - I'll just post the movement, leaving you free to block, evade, or take the hit. Whatever. Your reaction to whatever she does is completely uninfluenced. This is just how I am. But for the love of god, please be realistic. I mean, if your character shoots Valindil with a gun, *of course* she's going to get shot! Who the hell can dodge bullets? Even magic has a delay because the caster needs to focus. I call it 'human weaknesses' - gravity exists, and can't be bent except for her wings, and of course magic if such a spell can be cast. Fire acts like fire should. She can flame, but without wood to fuel it, it will extinguish just as quickly. Take special note of this section, because if I feel that you're not respecting the realism I have in my posts, then whatever we're doing will be called off.
InventoryValindil's Dice
This dragoness seems to carry five die with her, sparkling as they sit inside each knuckle on her metal paw. She must be an experienced Dice Poker player from the looks of it. They are rather valuable dice of regulation size and weight, cut from five of the purest rubies that she had in her hoard. Holes have been bored into each face of the die, filling in each depression with the purest gold. They truly are a masterpiece in their own right.
Valindil's Collar
A very expensive-looking jet-black leather collar with very large, menacing spikes, and Valindil's name written in pure gold upon it in loopy cursive at the back. At the front there is a link to which her leash would be attached to.
Valindil's Horn Bracelet
Valindil has recently received a gift from a friend, a wolf by the name of Tirac. It's a rose bracelet that rests on her horn, silver entwining stems with emerald leaves and ruby roses that wind around her horn in a delicate, lovely ring.
Valindil's Leash
A strong and punishing-looking choke-chain that stretches around 1.5m long. The chain is pure silver, and very thick, with thick silver spikes running all along the chain. The holding strap is a strip of very new, very expensive jet-black leather that's forged into a small loop, so that you can fit your hand or paw through it easily. It looks like something very Gothic, and that which would belong with a very Gothic collar...
Valindil's Blanket
This is Valindil's new fluffy pink blanket. It's quiet a nice piece this time - the old one /must/ have finally been all burnt away. The new quilt looks like it was made by a skilled tailor, and is easily a king size or larger. It has thick hot-pink fur all over it, thick enough to run your hands through and nuzzle against. The corners are embroidered with gold loops so that the corner is parditioned off from the fur allowing something of importance to the dragoness to be sewn there, like a sewn frame for her teddydragon from childhood, if she'd be able to conjour it up. Along the bottom, the fur stops a foot from the bottom, replaced by red puffy silk with gold sparkles through it with 'Valindil Bjartskular' sewn in gold in curly letters. It looks really extravagant.

So I have this friend right.

And I thought to myself, "God I really need to get a special picture for my mate", the lovely Y'zon or
orangebluez as you all would know him. So I enter the auction with the expectation of paying 50 minimum, 150 if people got interested. 200 was like the far end. It wasn't my limit, but after 200 I'd be rethinking my commitment.
It cost me $360. These people really wanted that damn picture. One dude jumped the second slot all the way up to $400. Thankfully since Australia kicks ass right now, $360 turned into $333, but still... this is going to be the most expensive single piece of dragon porn on my collection. But it's going to be the best. You wanna know why? Well you're going to have to wait! Because it's a present for Y'zon and he has no idea what I'm going put on it. And so none of you are going to know because the sneaky blue lizard is watching my FA page.
But I'll keep you updated on what's happening, with as much information as I can provide at the time. I still want a surprise for my lizard-friend, even though he guessed what it was anyway... Damn smart argonians...

The Paths of Life
General | Posted 15 years agoI imagine life as countless trails through a bushland so thick that you have to keep to the paths. Knowing where I want to be in life is my compass, telling me where I should be heading. The paths are just as confusing as the bush because there's so many to follow. But if you stray into the bushes for a shortcut and you'll be forever lost until someone finds you and guides you back to the paths. I was guided back by something. Only hate, pain, anger, and the events that stem from these feelings, is what I found whilst lost in the thick bushes.
Everyone is on a path in this place, and when groups find each other, the people inside that group will find friends and enemies with the others. Everyone has their own compass, which is either a dream of where they want to end up, or something more practical. Everyone walks the paths because they have to. Some of them venture, unknowingly lost, through the bushland. This is because they either don't have a compass, or they've lost their compass to guide them around the countless paths.
But the reason why everyone walks, is to see how far they get along the Paths of Life before death comes and takes them away

Afternoon and night. I find that I'm just too out of it in the morning.

General | Posted 15 years agoIt seems that my brother really knows me well. For my 21st birthday he brought me a set of ornamental katanas. I'll try to upload a picture but don't hold your breath. They have a crimson wooden scabbard with black rope around the handle, and silver capping & handguard. The blades are normal metal, undecorated, and they're lighter than a normal sword so they're real comfy to carry.
