Project Rupert - Searching for a artist for concept sketch
Posted 13 years agoWell my secondary-sona Rupert is taking shape... I'm thinking a rat-meerkat hybrid with mostly orange short-fur, golden brown meerkat markings, light grey belly, black gradient-outlining of the marking and belly, and the traditional pink rat tail. Maybe also white and/or black rat-like sploch-spot marking on the back and face/neck.
If anyone would like to take a stab at a few concept sketches for me, please contact me.

Back in Melbourne!
Posted 13 years agoWell I'm back in Melbourne- though I would of happily stayed in Queensland if I was able.
My time spent in Queensland was excellent!
I got to eat at an all you can eat/self serve restaurant, visit Australia Zoo to feed roos, cuddle with a fursuit, sleep in a fursuit body, and publicly wear a fursuit for the first time during a bowling event!
If I can afford it and find time- I'm totally visiting Queensland again. Likely for FurDU- or simply another chance to stuff my belly at a Sizzler! heh heh

He has a neat toony look to his style and did a nice job recently with a drawing with coloured lines.

Unleashed feelings
Posted 13 years agoAm I self obsessed? Is that normal to some extent? I feel a bit... empty. I know many furs, yet I can hardly hold a normal conversation, or I'm too quiet to enter a conversation. I'm barely interesting, so I'm rarely approached into a conversation, as hell it only goes as deep as 'Hi, so what you been doing? ... Oh nothing much."
I usually feel the extra wheel in a group being so quiet and uninformative. I might as well not be around, I'm basically just empty space listening in on facts within conversations between people actually doing stuff and with interesting life experience. I have neither... nothing going for me, no real interesting life experiences in the last 5 years... father passed 3 years ago... his ashes only soon to be buried in the first weekend of February.
I'm 20, soon to be 21 in late May, and I feel insignificant, feeling as if I might be depressive, am I seeking attention? I might...
I have no ideas for that what I want for my future work wise, the things that I do want are not important in the long run. My future looks dull, nothing special. I'm trying my best currently to at least get a job, just so I can be a bit better off so I can get the things I want, and somehow hoping the responsibly of a job will help me be a better people. Someone that is less timid, someone that is less lazy, someone that can actually hold a conversation and keep it going.

furry and me

It was a good thing but also a bad thing
at the same time, it was good to actually
hang with new people, but this was out
weighed by how I let it into my lifestyle...
I let furry saturate my lifestyle too
quickly... my lazy attitude kicked in again,
letting myself pick furry meets over more
important uni things, which ultimately
lead me to a crap uni result. Then there
was the influences of odd fetishs and
obsessions with that, which left me
feeling more lonely as I had no one to
actually do these things with.
Now I'm sorta falling into pieces, it's a fucking pain, I enjoy the furry community and what it involves but at the same time I've let it ruin my life a bit with my obsessive
nature and my slight desire to be or even
feel noticed.

Kashim then got hair dye for Kashim, briefly headed to Kashim's joint and then left to Bubble's place, having mentioned at some point I want my hair cut.
So we arrive at Bubble's place and then she quickly gets to the matter of cutting my hair. When she finished I had short hair with a bit of a tail, then she decided to bleach the tail. While the bleach rested in my hair, Bubble started with the two part dye job of Kashim's hair.
Twenty minutes later, the bleach was washed out and well there was a lot of dye left over from the dye job Kashim got... so my head got painted with the dye for the hell of it xD
We had dinner, talked and then I finally showered.... after all that what I expected to be a simple hair cut ended with this... the final result! http://db.tt/ZlGOTg9y

Posted 14 years agoI feel like a no-body... I'm about to drop from uni... still yet to look for work... showing my usual laziness towards life. I generally take life for granted, figuring it'll work my way eventually. I half expect people to notice me even through I do nothing and I'm not really skillful in many ways. And sad of all I usually feel negative... like now...

Posted 14 years agoThat's right, October 25 is Groo day! That date last year was the day I first doodled an unnamed roo that became known as Groo. That doodle was this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4732486/
A year on and Groo has evolved a lot, the blue and green become lighter, the black paws became grey, the fact his fur was actually dyed developed and then Groo's natural Eastern Grey fur was revealed.
It's been a fun 12 months and have met so many nice people, it's been a great experience, be it with a bit of up and downs, but I've loved being a furry!
