Back from MFF!
Posted 14 years agoWell had a good con for the most part, though entirely too short! Really regret not heading there a day earlier, I didn't realize so much stuff happened on friday. Plus my plane was delayed for two hours so I didn't get to the hotel until 6pm on friday.
I bought one new piece of art, a conbadge by K'sharra, which I will post...soonish..
I got to meet in person for the first time: Tug, Ardic, and Agent.
I got to hang out with my friends: Dane, Ralley, Fenrix, Sabastian, Khyle, Noel, Stillman, Corranfox, Recca, Straylight and Wolf Knight.
I'm too lazy to link them all to their appropriate FA's, and I apologize if I missed anyone in my haste to get this posted before work!
I believe I avoided con crud *keeps fingers crossed* but I was hella sore from the plane rides and lots of walking and quite sleep deprived when I got home, lol. Didn't play nearly as many board games as I usually do at cons, but it was good just hanging with friends. I didn't really go to any of the dances nor panels, other than 2's show and a few minutes of the dance competition. All in all it was a fun con and I wouldn't mind going again!

Posted 14 years ago25+ images to go! (needing to be uploaded) Yes I've been a damn lazy wolf, if you look at the produced dates I haven't even started on artwork done for me in 2010 (baring 2 conbadges). I have no excuse other than not wanting to sit down, hash out an uploading template, and get things posted. Nobody probably cares about the new little info bar I've added at the bottom of every image description in my gallery, but it was something that I really wanted to do for organization's sake and ended up being a small roadblock for me that gave me less will to get my gallery up to date.
Even with so many more images to post, I don't want to flood watcher's messages with new submissions so will get some sleep and resume tomorrow and probably the next few days/week, depending when I rouse myself into posting more again.

Steamcon!
Posted 15 years agoWell back in November, since I did not end up going to MFF, I instead managed to slip on into Steamcon for a day. I was really curious to go to the con, since I've never been to a non-furry con before, and plus I do love steampunk stuff. I only stayed a few hours, spent most of my time in the "dealers room" and attended one panel on making steampunk props. I did, however, manage to snap some photos of cool looking props others had made, which I post here for those interested!

Though thankfully I have the next four days off and will be making the most of them hanging with friends and having a b-day party on saturday.

Magic the Gathering... lol.
Posted 15 years agoOkay so some friends talked me into getting steam and getting duel of the planeswalkers. Overall i'm disappointed they are all preconstructed decks with limited editing available, but its decently fun, just wish i could actually play with my friends rather than having issues connecting.
But well, was just trying to unlock some cards for the big creatures green deck so was playing the weenie red deck over and over. On one game I got her down to -60 health and i wondered.. just how far could i get her down? So i played again, toying with her, killing her creatures and whittling her life before bulking up and waiting until the last moment to attack... and you can see what i ended up with here:

Check out my 90/86 in the middle that has both trample and lifelink and can't be targeted by opponents spells or abillites XD Not to mention a few other fatties there... I just played overrun and overrun i did..
After the attack phase i won with 176 health, to my opponents -349... thats 370 combat damage dealt, 352 of which was not blocked. If only a few creatures hadn't perished early on, maybe I would have broke 400 damage! Ah well, a goal for next time. For now I'm quite happy with what I did. ^_^

Okay so tried again, got 2 overruns and got a token producer out early, new total damage done in one round is 839! The set up and proof are as follows XD

UPDATE #2
Tried a third time and managed to break the game XD I got verdant force and vigor out early, so all my creatures were immune to damage and saprolings were popping up everywhere. I started leeching off my opponent's creatures, attacking with what i knew he could block and not lose any monsters, but then all mine would get +1/+1 counters from taking damage. It was working really well except.. apparently the game doesn't stack creatures with counters, even if they are the same type with the same number of counters. So after awhile the board was utterly flooded with my creatures and i was having a hard time clicking on individual creatures (like to swap my equipment around). I only had about 8 turns left to go, I sadly hadn't drawn either of the two overrun or my howl of the night pack, but I was hoping for one/more of them soon to do an all out attack with my buffed monsters. However, the game flipped out with all my creatures, it couldn't figure out where to place the newest ones so kept shuffling them around, not stopping with a pattern. It messed up the land displays too, smearing numbers over them, and zooming in on a card zoomed in too far, bigger than the screen. Then the computer attacked.. I declared a few blockers but the screen was just so full I couldn't even tell if I was blocking all of them. I hit the block button and.. boom, game crashed. Whoo hoo, I found how to break a game!
Also of note, i saved my previous game right before attacking, to see if i could squeeze out any extra damage.. however trying to load that many cards crashes the game too, heh.

Furry Zombie Hunting Permit!
Posted 15 years agoI saw -THESE- at Rainfurrest last year but modified to be a furry skull and have furry added to the title. I want one. I can't find them. I saw someone wearing one at FC and got reminded again that I want one. Does anyone know who made them and/or where I can get one? :(

Posted 15 years agoSo i had a friend drive me to the airport today to head off to Atlanta for the con! After waiting in line about half an hour to get my boarding pass, I found out my flight had been cancelled! The only things they were offering was either a rescheduled flight, with their next available flight being on the 29th, or a refund and best wishes for getting to where I needed to go! I opted for option B. Sadly all the good flights were leaving within half an hour of when I got out of the line, and all the ones for later in the day were $1000+. If I'd checked my flight status before leaving for the airport, I could have potentially gotten on one of those earlier flights... : /
Instead I got a flight tomorrow morning, hella early, for about $600 more than what the original cost of the plane ticket was.
You'd think if they cancelled your flight they'd go out of their way to set you up so you are a return customer.. like, the ability to book with another airline at a reasonable time for the cost that was originally paid. If its that down to the wire anyways the seats were not gonna be filled anyways. Plane tickets are horrid with only a day or 2 advance notice, ugh.
Anyways, still hoping to salvage this trip, and praying nothing goes wrong tomorrow, wish me luck!

Most likely you will be able to find me in the (non video) gaming room, probably playing huge games of Arkham Horror, lol. Also plan on going to the Second Life panel to see if I can find more furs I know that I didn't know were attending, and of course the dances!

Posted 16 years agoThank you all for watching me, dispite not having posted anything to this account for going on 9 months! Gotten 57 new watchers within that time, a lot of new people and a lot of old/new friends. I'm sorry for not posting anything, I have quite a bit of new art to do so with, but I'm an extremely lazy and WoW addicted wolf. I'm trying to work on it, heh.. I keep wanting to go through all the latest submissions, and -then- post new stuff, but as I've failed to do that for quite some time, I might as well just start posting stuff... Stay tuned for new art of my character shortly!

Posted 16 years agoOkay I'm really hoping to go to FWA and I'm pretty sure I can pull it off.. Unfortunately whom I roomed with last year has a full room this year, since it wasn't thought I'd go..
So do I have any friends out there that are going that I don't know about that have a spare spot in their room? So far I've been offered possible floor space in a room with 4, or 7, others.. I'd much rather have a spot in a bed with a friend in a room with only 4 (though much thanks to those that offered the floor spaces, I may well end up accepting!)
Got one offer for a 4 room but he's not sure if he's going or not and if he doesn't, i can't be in the room, so seems more like a fall back than a plan : /

FWA almost upon us
Posted 16 years agoYep, I'll be going this year. Never been before but Ranan talked me into it, plus I will get to meet a few friends that only go to this particular con. Looking forward to it even if once its over I have to actively look for a job XD

Biggest upper: Going to Denny's with 20 other furs at 2am Sunday night. I was laughing so hard I cried! ^^
