Hey all, I hope you've been great!

This past week was my first at my new job🔩
I've moved away from the movie theater and customer service business to a more assembly line type job that I couldn't be happier with! To be honest, customer service was killing me and I'm glad to be out of it 😌

With that being said, with the current hours plus overtime at this new job, commissions will take a little bit more time to complete and I appreciate your patience. I will also be closing multi page comic commissions for the time being. Single page comics are still open.

I'm really enjoying the new way of doing my lines with a different pen tool, but it does take me a bit more time.
So my question is; do I start doing commissions the new way with the colored lines OR do I make it an option for those who still enjoy the look of the all black lines?

I just don't want to disappoint people who expect the OG lines while I'm still experimenting with new tools, if that makes sense

With that said, I will be closing for commissions for the time being. I'm not sure when I plan on opening up again, but all I know is, I sure am tired and need a break x.x

I've been doing commissions for almost 3 years straight, and while I absolutely LOVE working with my commissioners and making new art for them, it has left me with little to no time for personal stuff, experimenting with new things/programs to grow and overall, I'm really struggling with and working on my mental health with therapy every week.

But dont be sad! I won't be closed forever! Probably for a few months into the new year or until I feel ready to open again.

Hey all! I just wanted some opinions...and without naming names, how long do you guys wait until you guys feel scammed or take action for a commission, or in my case, a fursuit partial?

I paid a newer fursuit maker almost 3 years ago for a partial and the last response I've gotten was 2 years ago. Mind you, I have reached out nicely for any kind of update or wip, but have been met with complete silence.
This person is also very active everyday sooo not really sure why I can't get a simple answer.

Being an artist myself, I totally get being overwhelmed and maybe even taking too many comms on at once, but I'm always transparent with the wait time and still try to get things out timely.....

Long in short, do you guys think I've been scammed? Should I just cut my losses?
