Howdy everyone!

It's been a while since my last post or upload. I want to tell you all I'm still here! The past two months have been busy to say the least.

I visited my partner back in February then moved, then got sick but improved a little and helped my sister move...and got sick again. I've been recovering from getting badly dehydrated by food posioning the last 3 days. Life has been a roller coaster -_-

Good news is I'm getting better. Recovery from this last endeavor is gonna be slow but I hope to be back in the swing of things by the end of the week or starting to at least by then.

I am still working on the transfer of commissions to the new Trello Queue but I want to have them all finished within the coming month. The majority at least by the time February rolls around.

Hello Everyone!

I hope your all having a wonderful November so far ^^

I am updating to let you know I am out of town for the holidays. Due to some last minute changes with traveling, I didn’t get a chance to update anyone before I left. I will, and am currently, away till the 1st of December.

Commissions
For those who have gotten a commission don’t fret! I am still working on them while I’m out of town. The only thing is that the turnaround is delayed by about a week and ½. If you have any questions though please feel free to message me! I will get a proper post with a queue list after this message.

My updates will take longer because of this but at any point you want to see an update in between just let me know.

Hello everyone,

I've made it back from my trip! Unfortunately a few days after I experience a lot of pain that eventually lead to a bad infection caused by a tooth.

I am much better now and the problem tooth is gone. I'm still going through treatment but getting back to normal. Commissions have been delayed but will get back on track here in the next few days.

Again I apologize to everyone for the time its taken and hope no more problems arise!

This is some important news for my commissions and a current update status.

Commissions are back on track and I hope to have the majority finished before November 27th. I apologize to everyone for the time, but between a loss in the family, my sisters wedding, and working full time its taken me longer to get things back up to a timely schedule.

Hey everyone,

It's 3rd time I've done this, this year and it still isn't any easier. My grandmother was taken off of life support last night and passed...

In the course of 2 years I've lost 5 family members, and it just feels like one after another. I'm a bit numb to it right now. A person can only take so much grief

I don't want to tell you all this to feel bad; I'm the kind of person that never likes giving this kind of news. I am telling this because I might be away for a little while. Or if I'm not myself you'll why.

All I have to say is cherish the people you care about, let them know you love them. You never know what will happen so spead time, remind them, and enjoy in the moments you have.

Howdy again everyone! Hope your September is treating you right~

I first want to thank everyone who purchased from the “Flat Fullbody Sale” that ended yesterday. My sister was able to meet her rent and it's a big weight off of her shoulders. I am blessed to have people who enjoy my work, so thank you.

Secondly I want to thank you all for your understanding when my wrist was injured. You were all kind, understanding, and patient. I am doing much better now and will be back in full swing of commissions.

In other commission news, the $40 Painting Sale will be still available and will end the 30th of September and at 12am EST. Along with that my regular commissions will be open till that time as well. They will close for the month of October or till my commission queue is caught up. I will make an update on them when I am closer to finishing the queue.

Some upcoming events and changes: I will be changing some things in my Terms of service soon. Since I post commission offers on so many sites, I want to integrate an email update system to keep everyone in the loop when something happens. Like the wrist incident, that way everyone is in the loop and won’t miss an update and it's easier on myself to make sure everyone gets that update. They will still be posted like this on each website.

I will be gone the 12th through the 18th of October for my Sister’s Wedding! I won't be able to work on commissions during that time but will still be able to answer questions you may have.

Though commissions will be closed, will still post YCH’s, Adopts, OTA’s, etc. I will likely put out polls to see what you all would be interested in to see. I enjoy getting others involved in a project!

Tuesday my wrist suffered a sprain caused at work. I was hoping it would clear up over the past two days but it seem like it won't be as soon as I hoped

I am getting back on track with Commissions since my new tablet came in. Its unfortunate this happened but is common with what I do in Pharmacy. So to be on the safe side I'll be taking my docotor recommendations and taking it easy on my wrist this weekend.

This doesn't mean I'll be stopping but my usual work time will be cut to minimal intervals.

I apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused but hope to get back up and booming with art again. Having finished images in the following week.

Its crazy how this year has been and that's not to even mention covid. I don't know where to begin so I'm sorry if this blunt and weird.

My family suffered another loss in June, my Grandfather. He was a good man. One of the best and most loving people you could have ever met. It wasn't a surprise, just hard on everyone. My little sister was on suicide watch and it was really hard for few months. She only had our sisters and me. It was mostly me since covid distance everyone. It was rough, and even I had to see someone to help me with it all, but she is doing much better now. She's getting the help she needs and though things are still rough, its a whole lot better then it was. It makes me hopeful.

I don't want to be this barer of bad news. 2020 just hasn't been great, for a whole lot of people, but there have been things that been good. My friend had her baby and they were both were given a clean bill of health. Even though she gotten really sick and the doctors were concerned if she should have him. My step sister is getting married in less then 2 months and I'm ecstatic. She's really happy and she really deserves it. I've even met someone who's made me hopeful again for love.

I wish I could change how things went, so much I wish I did, but I can't change what happened. I'm tried of dwelling on it. I want to make the best of this life. So I'm gonna stop holding back. Move forward, try the things I've been wanting to, and remind the people in my life how much I cherish them.

On a happier side note, from all of this, I've been drawing again. I took it back up a while back and its been really great. I even opened commissions again, to help with rent for my little sister since she was out of work while; but its been fun. I've missed how fun art was and making others happy with it. I'm going to strive once again to pursue making my comic. I want to share it with you all too.

Though this year still has its downs I want to make the best of it.

On Saturday, February 29th, my Mother lost her battle with cancer. It has been a long road to recovery and getting her back to health over the past year was one of the hardest things yet. One we all wish was the end of that chapter. Unfortunately not all things go according to how we want them to.

It's still all too fresh to talk about even though it's almost been nearly 3 weeks. What's worse is it's barely been a year since Dad's passing too and the only thing I can say is how much I distaste the month of February now.

You all have been so supportive throughout the journey it’s been. All the surgeries, the back and forth to the hospital, and all the endless nights. I can't begin to tell you all how much it meant to us. You’ve become a community I can always talk to and my gratitude for that will never ease.

I've had to make a lot of decisions during the past few weeks though and this particular one has been on my mind for a while. It’s only after a case like this that reiterates what I need to do.

I've decided to refund all commissions, trades, etc. and go on hiatus.

This was a hard decision to make but no matter how much I want to finish the things I've started I have to be honest with myself and better to the people who commission me. This doesn't mean I don't want to draw ever again or do commissions. I've not been happy for a while now and even with what's happened I don't feel like I can do anything at the moment. I don't know when I feel like I will.

I feel like it's the right decision to make. I know the majority of you all have been more than understanding and patient with me but I don't feel right in making anyone wait anymore. I don't want to try and push myself to finish commissions over a year ago anymore. It’s been a heavy stress on me but it was a stress of my own doing. Though I still don't feel like doing "this” fixes the situation, it's better than anyone having to wait anymore.

I have sent messages to everyone and will be ironing out details with each individual. My memory isn't the greatest at the moment so if I have forgotten you, please-please message me.

Thank you again to everyone for being there. Through all the rough times and for your encouragement along the way. I'm so sorry for the things I haven't followed through with and hope to do better in the future. For now I just need to step away.

There is no easy way to put bad news and I’m not one who enjoys giving it… nor dealing with the complications they bring.

Mom has been diagnosed with ALL, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It's a type of cancer in which the bone marrow makes too many lymphocytes, which is a type of white blood cell. This leads to problems with white and red blood cell counts and platelets. The doctors say it’s an aggressive type of Leukemia but they believe they caught it early enough.

She’s staying at the hospital throughout the duration of her treatment. My sister and I are doing all that we can to make her comfortable but she’s not in the best of shape if I’m honest. All of our mental states have taken a hit from this and it's only going to get worse before it gets better.

I wish I hadn’t waited so long to post an update till now. You all have been with me through these journeys and your support makes me still want to strive for the goal I’ve had for so long. Life is something that just happens and I’ve learned to accept that “it is what it is”.

I don’t want this to stop us. Me, my sister,...Mom. I want better for us and I plan to make the best of the bad.

Mom’s Home
After nearly 5 months Mom is fully healed and was able to go back to her home last week. It's been a whirlwind but I’m happy to say she’s finally taking back her independence. She’s finally doing the things she’s been wanting to do for a long time, which is cleaning out the junk from her house but that doesn’t mean it's not less important.

It's good to get back to your old self and finally get things you wanted to do. I’m happy for her and proud that she’s finally doing it.

Commissions
Things are slowly getting finished. I have been out for a while do to call outs at work and helping Mom move back home, so things are behind again but I am aiming to have most commissions finished by the 2 week of December with only a handful of people who have bundles as the lasts one’s to go.

I’ve decided I will not be opening them again until January. YCH and Adopts will be posted as usual but for now I will focus on not opening them till after the New Year.

Family
Mom’s wounds are almost healed! She has a few appointments today but as of last week her newest amputation is fully healed. The doctor is aiming to have her completely healed by the holidays and it’s looking like it too! I am happy to say her recovery is going smoothly. Her mental health is still low but with each appointment it lifts her spirits more and I’m hoping she will be able to go home soon. It's the one thing she’s been missing the most and the one thing I think will help her feel better on the inside too.

In other news, my sister will be seeing the endocrinologist next week. I will also be seeing someone next week. It seems like things are finally getting to the point of change and its...nice. With all the ups and downs, it's good to finally see progress.

I am closing commissions while I get caught up on my queue. I may post an adopt or YCH but for now I am going to focus on catching up on Commissions and working on some personal projects. I will probably open them again towards December and will make an announcement closer to time.

Personal Projects
I have mentioned stuff like comics and cartoons before but it's been a long time since I’ve actually worked on those things. I want to focus back in on them and share some of the stuff I've made over the past two years. It’s a lot of traditional art so it isn’t new but its a medium I’m more versed with then digital. I guess you can say I’m nervous but I’m also excited and I hope you all will enjoy what I have in store.

Hello again everyone. It's been awhile since my last update so I will try to keep this sort and simple.

Mom’s Recovery + Sister
After two months of being back and forth to the hospital, my mother is finally done with all of her surgeries. It’s been a rough road so far and we still have a journey ahead of us but I'm happy that she’s finally home here with my sister and I.

We also finally have a date for when my sister is going to see an endocrinologist! It's been such a struggle to find one. I won't go into details , but I will say that if you find a doctor or office your uncomfortable with or they don’t work for you, look somewhere else. No one can put a price on your health and you shouldn’t settle for half ass.

Commissions
Commissions have slowed down again because of this. I am still working but my usual schedule is taking a week longer now. Again, if any of you have questions or concerns are free to message me at any time.

The only things that will postpone more time are appointments for Mom. They can be a surprise at times so I will update my status if anything like this happens. I will let you all know that next Wednesday I won't be available at all because of appointments and will resume commissions Thursday.

I will let you all know the days off I have now, and will later update my TOS with this information. I am off: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday After 2pm EST, and Sunday. So if I don’t get back to you on: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday Morning is because I am at work and I will get back to you at my earliest convenience.


Mental Health
I’m not sure when I talked about this last. Honestly, it's been hard to think about anything with everything that's happened. I'm the kind of person to push it aside in hopes it subsides while I take care of everything I need too and now I am suffering for it. It's my own fault but it's also my own responsibility to take care of it.

I have an opportunity to see someone and I’ve postponed it long enough. It's not like I need to state these things or have a point to come to. I just… I guess I don’t want it to be a shock if something changes. I’m hopeful but scared. I’ve been doing everything on my own so far. I have good friends to back me up but those things only last so long if its something that's physically wrong.

I’m going to keep my head up, as much as I can.

This update has a little bit of a good and quite a bit of bad news in it. If you only wish to be updated on commissions, please find the bold title with Commissions along the list for your update.

This week has not been an easy one to say the least and this year has been full of week’s like this.

Jessie
Jessie, my uncle to be and the love of my Aunt’s life, passed Tuesday the 20th after suffering a second heart attack within a month. He was only 46 and unfortunately his heart was too weak to keep his blood pumping. Even with life support, he only lasted a few hours.

My sister and I were there with our Aunt when this happened. I didn’t know Jessie as well as I would have liked but seeing my Aunt go through this was heartbreaking. I know how it is to lose people you love but I could only imagine the pain she is going through watching him like that…

Sister
I had mentioned previously that there was going to be something I announced that wasn’t the greatest of news and since the events that have passed this week, my sister figured it would be best to come out with it sooner than later.

My little sister suffers from a Thyroid problem and though fluctuating can happen, it's been between both hypo and hyper which she shouldn’t even be showing signs for hyper.

We’ve been checking things off the list of possibilities getting tests and lab work done but the list is shortening to the point we expected it to get, where it might be Cancer. Since we’ve had family members going through with it its a higher possibility.

It's something we’ve been preparing for in the least. She will have to go through some heavy treatments regardless if it’s officially Cancer or not. In the midst of everything that's happened in the past month it's been exhausting to keep up with this along with everything else. She’s feeling it more physically since her thyroid has been hurting for so long.
Her and I have some game plans its just hard when your trying to let your mother heal and comfort those who are grieving on top of a full time job.

Mom
Though things haven’t been so great, Mom has been doing better these past two weeks. She was moved to a Rehab Facility and is walking better than I’ve seen her walk in a long time. Her Bypass has proven how much she needed flow back to her feet and I look forward to having her right leg done; seeing her move about even more.

Though I do, I hope they schedule it for a future date because she wants to come out of there for a little bit. After being in the hospital for a month I think she deserves some time away from being poked and prodded all hours of the night.

Commissions
Commissions are still underway, I am keeping my schedule as best as I can however there may be a week extend on a few pieces and I will message those people promptly.

With everything that's going on I am still keeping Emergency Commissions open at least for another week before closing them. I will be posting some YCH’s soon and an Adopt in hopes to bring in some more cash but that is the plan for now outside of commissions.
