Hey guys. Lately I've been pondering something, and I dunno whether it would actually work out but hey, no harm in at least talking about it, right?

Lately I've been considering the prospect of making a Patreon.

I’d like to give myself a means of being more active/reliable with my art output, and while commissions can be tricky to get figured out, I’m unsure if I should just stick with getting a couple of those every now and then, or trying my hand at making a Patreon?

I’m not sure what I would offer though; I pretty much toss everything I do for you guys onto the internet as it is. If I made a Patreon, what sort of…”incentives”, for lack of a better term, could I offer my patrons? It’s still kind of a strange concept to me, but it would potentially make my life a lot easier, especially since we’re gonna be moving out by the end of this month so obviously money is a big deal for us right now.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Would anyone be interested if I did? It’s very weird cuz I don’t like feeling like I’m ‘asking for money’, but Patreon’s an interesting thing and I’ve seen several artists I greatly admire do cool things with it. Granted, I don’t think I’m nearly as ‘popular’ as any of them, but I’ve been around the interweb long enough to feel like there’s no harm in asking, at least.

Progress has slowed down a lot, reason being that for the past couple weeks (and for one more) I've been in training for a new position, which has bumped me up to working full-time.

As much as I enjoy being a dog groomer, it's exhausting. I'm burnt out, worn out, and my brain is sluggish by the end of the day. I only have another week of training but it'll be another couple months AT LEAST before I can go back to part-time.

So...here's hoping I can at least get SOME stuff done in the meantime. It's just very very slow -w-

My drive to draw anything "personal" is very low...I can't organize my thoughts and make anything for myself. All I can work on are things I am commissioned to do.

I have SO MANY ideas, and can't get ANY of them out. Annoying indeed.

Still trying to sell my computer, but we finally just broke down and decided to stick Windows back on it so I can at least make myself productive.

SO I CAN DRAW AGAIN YAY

And play my games without their Mac OS clients bugging the fuck out.

Urgh. Wish I had known I would get into gaming before I invested in a Mac. But with Windows on it, it's a decent enough machine.

So I'm trying to sell my computer (it's an iMac) in order to get parts for a new PC. The Mac is still good and all, but I need something better since I'm getting more into gaming and whatnot.

Had a guy contact me about it, but he flaked out when it came time for him to come GET the thing. So now I have an iMac that doesn't even have Windows booted on it anymore. Which means I have no more art programs. Nothing. Only a couple games, and the Mac clients for those games are buggy as hell.

Ugh....not sure when all this will get cleared up. But that's why there's no art. Hopefully we get this sorted soon.

Everything's going well around here. Weather sucks, but oh well, nothing out of the ordinary there. Going to be selling my computer soon but VERY quickly replacing it with a new one. Time for an upgrade.
