I've been thinking about just taking some pay-what-you-can commissions, since I would like to get some money in, but I don't think my art is wide-spread enough to work with my current pricing ideas. So...if anyone's interested, definitely let me know :D

Been a little spotty with my activity here lately. Things are hard. We may or may not be losing our electricity the day after tomorrow, and we are having to get organized to move back to our hometown, since the job market where we are is SHIT and we have no money.

Hopefully things will clear up after we can get settled back in with the support of our parents, and I can stop feeling so sick and stressed all the time. Anxiety issues are fun fun.

In lighter news, however, I've recently gotten to play Mass Effect again (my games were back home and I couldn't get them for a long time), and I've remembered just how much I FUCKING ADORE IT. As soon as I can figure out how to draw turians all pretty-like, I shall be doing quite a bit of that. Garrus is a sexy beast.

Conceptual, fantasy, just anything in general. I'm very character-oriented

- What would be your secondary identity? -
Uhhh....

- What forms of art do you dabble in, but don't excel at? (Keep in mind, this could change!) -
I tinker with the whole painterly-type of digital art, but I'm very very new to it.

- How would you describe your 'style'? -
It's evolved so much, oi. I take a lot of inspiration from slightly cartoony/anime styles, but also blend it with my own to keep it simple.

- What medium do you favor most? -
I prefer digital work. Photoshop is my luv. But I do enjoy sketching in my sketchbook as well.

- What medium do you need the most improvement in? -
Errr....could improve anything, I guess.

- What medium do you WANT to see yourself improve with, the most? -
Definitely the speedpainty style. I LOOOOOVE that style, and wish I could master it as easily as some seem to do.

- What are your favorite subject matters? -
Fantasy, Sci-Fi, anything character-based, etc. Porn is kinda fun, but I am still practicing it lol.

- What are your least favorite subject matters? -
I hate backgrounds, they just make me twitch. Def need more practice there. Uhhh...other than that, I don't have any "least favorites" i can think of.

- List your Artistic Strengths -
Line-art and character concepts, certainly.

Backgrounds. HUUUUGE weakness.

- Which of the above weaknesses would you most like to see improve? -
Backgrounds. I wanna be able to do commissions where I don't have to struggle with that.

It's fun to draw and look at, so yes :3

ummm.....*shrug* anything?

I briefly attended an art college, but it was very gallery-art based, and I don't enjoy contemporary art in the least.

Proper digital art appreciation, really. But I'm very self-taught, so I don't really want much focus on it in my schooling anymore.

- Would you consider yourself prolific, or a 'quality over quantity' sort of artist? -
I definitely prefer doing my best in a small area. Which is why I HATE backgrounds, because I LOOOOOVE focusing on character details.

- Would you considering yourself a Fine Artist, or a Commercial Artist? -
Not entirely sure what the difference here is....

- Where would you like to be in five years? -
I haven't a clue. Kind of struggling with that at the moment; I'm not motivated or mentally capable of focusing on much other than art :/

This is kinda cool because it's my first real holiday away from home, since I moved out this summer. I just wish I could spend it doing something fun. Maybe I'll try to come up with something fun to draw for the holiday...I'm reawakening old obsessions and finding old fanarts and stuff from ages ago that I love but forgot about.

I have nothing to do. I play Champions Online, I play League of Legends, I write, I draw, and basically just nerd-out. I am not a housewife, and yet I am in so many ways.

I don't know where my life is going, but I don't really mind. I have all I need right now, and I'm happy with that. I'm learning to just relax, and to take things in stride. I might be unhappy with certain things, but overall I'm doing pretty okay.

I think I'm too young to worry about stuff like that. Than gain, maybe I just FEEL too young.

I love World of Warcraft. It's a game I've been on-and-off throughout the entire time it has existed. While I've been bored and given up the game, the characters and world have always interested me.

Blizzard, what the fuck are you doing? Pandarens? REALLY?

Stop working on all these omgwtfexpansions and FUCKING UPDATE THE VANILLA STUFF. Seriously. We're still using the ALPHA MODELS FOR ALMOST ALL THE RACES, for fuck's sake.

I will always love WoW, deep in my heart. And I will always love my characters, and will keep and continue to use them. But WoW.....I'm afraid this is goodbye again, at least for a while.




In other news, no new art for a couple days, I'm afraid. I'm house-sitting for my mom while she's in Texas for my aunt's birthday, so all I have is my crappy laptop and my sketchbook, and no inspiration whatsoever because I'm too cold all the time. Oh well, just a couple more days....

"It" being me, of course. After having this account for goddess-knows-how-long, I have finally gotten my ass working. DeviantArt distracts me. Currently I do not have access to a scanner or to my tablet, but as soon as I do, I will very likely be posting actual art here, and not just snippets like the only thing on here so far.
