General | Posted 3 years agoVancoufur's hotel block at the Vancouver Sheraton Guildford Hotel will be opening October 15 at 12pm PACIFIC TIME.
We do anticipate the block to sell out very quickly, so its important that you set your timers and reminders of digital or analog sort so you are READY in your timezone for the opening! We highly recommend for the best experience to attempt to get a room in the main hotel.
You will need a credit card to reserve a room. If you are a volunteer, dealer or DJ, please email hotel[at]vancoufur.org for preopening registration.

Are you an NSFW artist who'd like to vend at VF2022? The After Dark market is an after hours NSFW friendly place for vendors to show off their NSFW artwork and wears. The entryway to the market will have someone checking ID so you can freely show your art. Unlike in the Dealers Den and Artists Alley where all NSFW work must be in a concealed binder as those spaces are meant to be family friendly. Preregister to guaruntee you get all the benefits including a printed conbook, t-shirts, tickets for the escape room, ice cream social, GOH banquet, and if you upgrade a patron or sponsor gift!
Also save $10 on a weekend pass by preregistering over the at-door price! At-door upgrades to patron or sponsor cannot guarantee you will get the special gift, as they are bespoke made based on our prereg numbers. Also to reserve your tickets for special events such as the Escape Room, or Ice cream social, or even GOH banquet as there are limited seats! You must also be sure to PAY to lock in your early registration pricing.

General | Posted 5 years agoWe are happy to announce that Vancoufur will be presenting a virtual convention event March 6-7, 2021, VF2021: Evfurquest Online BETA!
We will be using a combination of platforms to deliver a combination of live, interactive events and recorded content through VRchat, minecraft, discord, twitch and others. Discord is serving as our main hub as we prepare the other platforms for the festivities in March!
Registration is open and basic attendance to all PG content is FREE, or you can choose one of our sponsorship options, get some cool swag (digital or physical depending on what you select), and help support the convention. 18+ access is available for a small fee. If you haven't registered yet, or haven't paid, you need to do so by Feb 21st to lock in your prereg price and guarantee your rewards! So be sure that you check and make sure that you've paid your balance if you have one outstanding! It's easy to check if you log back in to our system here: https://reg.vancoufur.org/kiosk/2020/ and go through to the end and make sure that you aren't showing a balance.
If you want to get more bang for your buck, consider upgrading to Patron or Sponsor! Patrons in particular get lots of goodies this year, including 2 meals (GOH dinner, and Patron Brunch), ice cream social, an escape room ticket, extremely cool patron gifts (that glow!) and priority registration! Don't miss out!
Its also your last chance to add a-la-carte extras like a Tshirt, Escape Room Tickets, ice cream social tickets, or GOH Dinner tickets to your registration! Get them before they are sold out!
If you are all paid up, you are all set! You will need legal, picture ID to pick up your badge at registration, so make sure its up to date before the convention.
