Hi all!
It's been ages. I still don't have a new tablet yet, but I do have a new job (two actually) so it won't be long before I can save up for a nice one!
I have been really itching to draw again and am quite excited to get to it! My sketchbooks are getting doodled in, but tablets are my favourite way to draw.

Would anyone be interested in me doing some quick comms or character auctions?
I am trying to build a new computer because mine is dying, and would like to do something like this.
I just don't know if my art is up to par quite yet, if anyone has any input or price suggestions please let me know!

I have a lovely Panda I plan to draw soon.
Kagekoneko and I spent some time in SL making matching panda girls.
I LOVE how they turned out and look forward to drawing them soon.
I think I will try doing a multi character picture for once as well.
*Squee!*

Finally have found some time to draw again. Unfortunately it's due to being sick at home. However I will take what I can get.
Itching to improve my final coloring, the lineart finishing touches are still evading me.
I would love any tips and tricks or links to tutorials you recommend!

I just started a new job and am working full shifts.
I will draw again soon, I am itching to.
I have just been coming home completely pooped!

I really appreciate every one of them, they are part of what keeps me drawing.

Some things that I want to remind myself to practice in regards to my drawing.

Dynamic lighting
Clothing textures
Facial expression/emotion (lolling tongue, wide eyes etc.)
Backgrounds
Multiple character/subjects
New species

I got some new poses in Second Life to use for model reference.
Tried out a new one on my newest piece, Slinky Kitty Pinup.
Also modifying my coloring style while trying to draw fluffy fur. I did it similar to how I do hair. I hope it worked!

Putting some notes here so I don't forget.

Meleuka Stitch:
Hybrid type monster (Crux, Equine, Bat, Dragon, Goat). Previously human doctor's assistant with questionable methods.
Reanimated by the Doctor as he still needed an assistant, made a monster out of spare parts and her human brain.

Elements:
Electricity/Lightning and Death

Powers:
Her body is animated by an electric blue life force, which has limited capability for reanimation and telekinetic movement.
She is capable of replacing limbs with other parts by animating her stitches to sew it onto her body, then reanimating the limb with her energy.
She keeps a needle handy at all times in case she needs to use this power, usually in her mouth or tucked into a seam.

Personality:
Being basically a reanimated Frankenstein's monster type creature, her grey matter isn't quite what it used to be. She is prone to distraction and bizarre thoughts and actions. Occasionally she will slip into a sort of warped reality where she sees things a bit differently than others.

Personality examples:

?: "Meleuka you smell awful! Get some perfume or something at least"
M: "Oh... okay!"
Meleuka returns after finding the first item she identified as a likely perfume, which in this case is pickle brine.
?:"What did you do!? You smell like a corpse-burger!"
M:"No wonder I'm hungry..."

Meleuka is giggling hysterically to herself.
?: What's so funny?
M: It tickles!
?: What does?
M: The magic jellybeans!
?: ...
M: Here, let me show you!
Meleuka delicately fishes around a nostril with one of her claws, producing a squirming maggot.
?: Gross!
Meleuka flicks the maggot away, it arcs away from her, trailing a frightening amount of snotty liquid.
Switch to Meleuka's "weird vision", she sees the maggot as a happy smiling jellybean flying away trailing a glittery rainbow.
M: Bye Mr.Jellybean!
?: O_O

Drawing ideas:
* Splitting apart at the seams, showing blue energy around the cracks.

* Mad doctor outfit, including temporary humanoid arms stitched on. Bloody surgeon gloves/mask etc.

I made a new OC last night and I am SO EXCITED!
Seriously, I love her to bits already. Even had a dream about her personality.

She's a hybrid monster...
She will be so fun to draw.
