A quick news! I decided to go per-post-charge system. Don't worry, you'll don't get charged twice or something like this. It's just because I have some serious goals in my career, and because drawing is my hobby, there is a chance I can skip some months exclusives or fall into hiatus state for a while, and I don't want to disappoint you! Now I have more control of your investments and I can decide to charge or not, depends on how much of mine I've put in a particular month.

I have never told you about my life before, but.... shit happened, I am now single x) Just before the 14 February. This may be not so... sad? Idk, but I lived with my girlfriend of 8 years. This is a little shoking, but i try hard to move on. So, that's how it's going ^^* Right now i have work, friends and
mortgage to pay x) who knows how it all turns out for next years. To be honest, i was never thinking of that turn of events. Whew...

On this week i don't really done a lot, but yesterday i had to paint the batpony of  rimora. Here it is http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21904129/ She turnes out a little rought, cause i had real problems with Krita, but i hope you will like it.

I want to say about Krita. But for now, i had started to looking for myself a new painting app, because I was not quite satisfied with sai's feature list. Krita on the other side have perspective helpers, 3D transformations (mindblowing), very (very!) configurable brushes, a lot of usefull ps-like features, such as levels, blur etc.

...but all this pros just falling apart because of one single con. It's QT and architecture. Krita is open-source solution and it's code was designed for Linux systems. It's works terribly slow on my MacBook PRO 13 (which is frustrating) and have random crashes and lags on Windows PC, which makes it impossible and uncomfort to use.

This is sad. Right now i have YCH for  felicitylongis in queue and i must decide which tool i will use for paint it. I think i will use SAI, because i used to it :( and as usual, i will use photoshop for tweaks and filters.

Also i am looking forward to SAI 2.

In pre-last november week i have done two pictures and both of them have been colored in Krita. What can i say, Krita is very powerfull tool, but it smells "open-source" a little x) it's a little laggy, may crash (has an autosaves and backups — i didn't lost the progress while all it's crashes). BBBBBUT! It has nice brush engines, it has awesome puppet-like transformations, cool g'mic filters, perspective helpers and more. It is definitely worth to try it.

Does anyone tried Krita? They have as much as SAI and even more, it's free and also it's for win and mac both (actually it's for Linux and has ported version).

Any pros/cons? What do you think?

I had never used YCH format before, but i thought of that a lot. It's cool and easy — basically i draw what i want to draw and customer gets what he want to. I draw first piece for  herox77 and he liked how it turns out. Great :)

Where was i... how  iskra recently said, I had some "pencil period" earlier. It lasted about a year. The reason a lot of things — i have some health issues and stoped drawing in digital, put my old 3rd intuos on the shelf (this thing is really huge and uncomf ._. i often have thoughts to buy something used and more lightweight, like 5th intuos). Also, draw with pencils on the paper brings more fun and satisfaction.

So i remembered how i used to color sketches in digital way and decided to combine traditional line and digital coloring. Maybe later, when i get more comf in digital way i'll try to line in digital on the traditional sketch. The one thing in which i'am pretty shure is that i pref drawing sketches on paper :3 Maybe it's all because basically my main computer is 13' macbook X) and i don't feel so comfortable when i draw on it with huge 3rd intuos (it's basically twice wider ._.) Also i need to install bootcamp to get SAI instead of Photoshop.

Yep i like SAI more then Photoshop, it's faster, it has more usable blending tools and brishes, ability to draw with transparency and a lot of bunches of other killing features. I had SAI on my PC, but my PC right now is traveling around the city and always gets where I don't >_<
