By adopting an Aitherion, or any species by NEOTIBICEN|@kimbutt , you are bound to the following clauses below. This TOS will be enforced to the highest extent and there will be NO exceptions made for this TOS
GENERAL
I}. You do not own your Aitherion 100%, namely the apsects that makes them an Aither.
The design (unless a created gifted design by me) however is yours to own.
II}. That you are not to change the species at any given time, doing so will result in loss
of membership within the species.
III}. That I, NEOTIBICEN can revoke at any time. This is only the aspects that makes them an Aither, not the design as stated in clause 1. Should you have your Aithers revoked, you will be
required to change them as to not represent Aitherion anymore.
IV}. You are REQUIRED to notify NEOTIBICEN if you are leaving the species: this is to notify of any designs you own, and of what you will be doing upon leaving the species (changing species, returning designs, etc)
IF CHANGING SPECIES: you must have consent of both parties (Aitherion and the owner of the species you change the design to) however I NEOTIBICEN may not allow you to convert to certain species due to extenuating circumstances.
V}. All designs that are made by NEOTIBICEN | @Kimbutt, that are marked as aitherion, are OFFICIAL: This applies to flat sales, auctions, giveaway designs, and any adopt sale by NEOTIBICEN | NE0-Adopts| Kimbutt and official mods of Aitherion-Junction

II}. Commercial profit of Aitherion (being t-shirts, mugs, any form of merchandise) is strictly PROHIBITED. Personal profit (YCH, Commissions) is highly endorsed however!
III}. You are not to resell or trade Aitherion unless they have been registered in the Vanthian-Index, otherwise your transaction will be deemed a violation of TOS and will be asked to cease.
IV}. However if registered, you may trade and resell your Aitherion. But you are required to note me PRIOR to trading as to get confirmation (however, all Aitherion are to be at least three weeks since their creation. That is REQUIRED! Otherwise you are unable to trade / resell).
V}. Your Aitherion cannot be sold for higher than what you bought them for unless they have art with them. Only art that was PAID for (commissioned art) may be taken accounted for. Anything that was not paid for does not count.
VI}. Free and gifted designs from NEOTIBICEN and mods of Aitherion-Junction are not to be sold or traded: they are to be regifted to others. It's unfair and rude to make profit of of gifted designs that you did not pay for. Doing so will result in loss of species privileges.

Vanthian Faction Information

The three Vanthian Factions were started over 5 centuries ago, out of a need to protect the need to defend the
region's from a threat that had nearly destroyed Vanthias at one point long ago.
This threat was none other than the Skadyth: a race of demonic, twisted, shadow-like beings that consumed anything that they touched.
countless Aitherion, Therukh, and Verlet fell to these creatures,. They could not be stopped as
it seemed, for they used the powers of the shadows to veil themselves to strike at them while unaware.
Under the command of the first three leaders, the factions themselves soon rose as a result. The origin of the three
faction leaders coming from the burning city of Ulistor after the Skadyth had raged through, killing almost every person
that resided within and waged war on the Skadyth in order to save their home.
It was a long, bitter fight that cost the factions many lives as a result. But they had successfully managed to drive the
Skadyth back to whence they came by the century's end. The Skadyth have never returned since then, and are believed
to have gone extinct, possibly because their main source of food was gone. Once their main threat had been eliminated,
the three factions themselves had soon turned their eyes to their homeland and set out to rebuild their home and protect
their people from any other threat that may arise.
Initially, as time passed, the factions and their leaders soon took reign of the region's, divided amongst them to monitor
and to protect.
However, also as time passed, as the new leaders had replaced their predecessors, resentment amongst them began to
flare, mostly as disagreements between how the others took to their strategies of their regions. It soon began to result
in bickering among them and at one point a full blown fight had occurred amongst two of the factions both leaders
becoming so hateful toward each other that they had nearly killed each other.
The end result of this had caused a war that lasted for nearly a decade until the third faction leader had stepped in, forcing
the both of them to form a truce. This truce decreed that all three factions were to not wage any form of war on exact other
unless absolutely necessary. After this war and the truce, none of the leaders had ever spoken a word towards each other
to this very day. Even after their deaths and being succeeded by their heirs, none of the future leaders would even meet
in council no more as a result of the truce.
However, territory wars have flared up amongst them at times, often when one Faction has overstepped the boundary of
the others. This hasn't resulted in any wars in all the years of the truce at all... yet.
{ FACTIONS OVERVIEW }
(Note that factions do not actually limit fully the possibility of jobs the Aitherion can have.)
Each of the factions are dedicated to a certain aspect of Vanthian society and abilities, being strong in a certain one
and weak in another. There are three factions, with the names following:
{{ Noctus | Lead by Malekai Osric
The Noctus Faction inhabits all of the northern regions of Vanthias that are controlled by them. They are known to be a rather
scholarly faction, dedicated to the use of Magic for beneficial and protective purposes. Usually, those within Noctus are mages,
mancers, alchemists, or powerful elementals that are recruited by the faction to be trained as a part of it.
Noctus members are usually very bitter mostly at the Sanctus faction members as a result of past skirmishes and territorial rivalry.
Sometimes, Noctus will go after any Sanctus or Luxos members and shoot them down should they overstep into their territory.

Sanctus inhabits all of the eastern regions of Vanthias that is in their control. The Sanctus faction is disciplined in chivalry, knighthood
and warfare, often constantly training with sword and shield and sometimes a bit of elemental magic at times, however not as widely
used like Noctus does.
Those in Sanctus are mostly Knights, berserkers, guards, mercenaries, or rangers that scout and protect the Sanctus owned regions.
They have a mutual hatred of anyone affiliated with Noctus and may kill any who trespasses on Sanctus ground.

The third and final faction of them, the Luxos territories consist of the southern and western regions of Vanthias, that they patrol
constantly. Those within Luxos are dedicated to the sciences and technology, often developing stronger and powerful means to
protect their territory or to simply improve the quality of living. They may find favor from the other two due to trading some of
the items they come up with.
Mostly those in Luxos take up roles as scientists, technicians, researchers, and the like, often using their abilities as an advantage
over the other two factions.
Luxos general dislike or are very neutral towards the other two factions. Often this Faction will step in to stop a fight/skirmish
between Sanctus and Noctus. However they will not hesitate to kill any trespassers that dare peak theirs heads into Luxos territories.

Vanthias Planet Information
General | Posted 8 years agoThe planet of Vanthias, Named as so by the original founders of the planet, an ancient, yet extinct species only known as the Harbingers.
Vanthias’ name is derived from the ancient word Vantha’qui (Va-Thay-Kai) which means “Ethereal Wind”. The ancients had named it so for the windy conditions and ethereal appearance (noting the floating landmasses in Vanthias, often made of transparent bluish crystals often referred to as “Heaven’s Tears”
The planet can be located in the Andromeda Galaxy, in the ED-71 solar system, being 2.2 million light years away from our home galaxy, the Milky Way.
Vanthias, compared to Earth’s size, is about 3.8 times bigger than earth. However, the gravity levels are almost identical to earth.
The air within it’s atmosphere is composed of 27.5% oxygen, 70.8% Nitrogen, and 1.7% Neon. The air is certainly breathable for humans, the the oxygen content is higher than Earth’s, so precaution may be needed before entering the planet’s atmosphere.
A single day in Vanthias lasts approximately 33.60 hours and a year always lasts 384 days, save for a leap year that occurs once every six years. The planet is orbited by 4 moons, one out of the three is visible at daytime and is the closet of all of them. This moon is used by the Aitherion as a entryway for newcomers (foreigners such as humans, etc) and a foreign meeting center for diplomats of other planets for forming alliances.
Vanthias revolves around an orange star that is similar to ours. However much older by a million years.
Vanthias’ overall world climate can be described as cool and dry for most of the year, usually heavy rains may persist in the southern regions of the planet throughout half of the year and dry weather for the other half.
The planet contain 4 huge landmasses, creating a circular ring of some sort. The names of the Landmasses are:

In the north-west corner of the world. This content is mostly frozen tundra and plains. Tro-Ena is seen as the mining capitol of the world and has plenty of metal reserves, including metals like Corosa (a rosey pink metal most often used in jewelry), Ethiolite (a golden orange metal also used in jewelry, however much more malleable and durable than Corosa), and Bautlinth (a silvery black metal used in Armor and Weaponry. Very durable and strong like Ethiolite, however not as shiny as Corosa or Ethiolite). Is home to the cities of Ruenna, Ophelio, Haldon, and Valenco

in the south-west part. Mierua is mostly cool weather. The continent is made up of large plains, very mountainous terrain and sparse old growth forests. Mierua is home to unruly weather (such as high windstorms and heavy rains). Mierua is home to some of the greatest regions in politics and is considered to be “The Hub” for political diplomats to travel to, despite the weather conditions. The cities here are some of the finest, making the leaders of the other countries begin to grow envious. As they are politically popular, so are they popular to find a house in. The main cities are Krondos, Tireldar, Bantu, Vierro, and Cerith

in the North-east region of the world, is home to a cool, rainy climate with very little weather change (favorable for timber trees to grow) and is covered with large old growth forests and mountains abroad. Ordoa is often exporting timber and medicine from the tree leaf extracts in exchange for precious metals and the like. The people who live in ordoa are more traditional than their other counterparts. The cities in Ordoa are Nephrim, Renoir, Ulistor, and Veith.

In the southeast part of Vanthias. The weather is slightly and arid, with nothing but plains throughout the entire continent. Unlike its western partner, it is very dry and is home to vast deserts and titanic mountain ranges, some of the largest are located here.Many of the travelers who come through Kahi-Oru will refer to this region as Do’koa Il’eu (Doh-Kwah Yoh)“The BadLands”. Due to it’s arid climate, there is very few ways to utilize it’s resources other than the stone quarries which large slabs of stone are exported. The cities that are there are home to rogue wanderers, caravans, and metal workers, each relying on each other to survive in the arid badlands. Is home to the cities of Enwo, Norita, Salseni, and Yonai (named after one one of the Vanthian Deities, Yonai the lord of Autumn).

The is the most common subtype that is found on Vanthias.
They lack any form of power, element, or abilities that are considered supernatural in their home world. (However telepathy differs as it is a basic instinct/behavior all Aitherion are born with.) Aitherion that are of Iiseal descent usually are those most often seen in Vanthias' cities, aside from a few Uasaal or Ridirei Aitherion roaming about.

Uasaal are less common to see roaming around in the Vanthian cities, however are not considered as rare in
spite of this, often being spotted from time to time. often having no homes due to discrimination for their differences.
Unlike Iiseal Aithers, Uasaal possess unusual traits not found in the species, such as horns, spines, and the ability
to manipulate an element they were born with. However, they only can be born with one element, sometimes 2 in
rare cases.

The Ridirei Aitherion are usually not spotted AT ALL in Vanthian society, often there are very few living on the
fringe of civilization as the hunters, trackers, rangers, or mercenaries seen presently.
Usually, Ridirei are much stronger in elemental ability and can master 3 of the 13 Elements. And these Aithers
often have more trait differences, such as more complex horns or Bi colored scleras.

The Riiogen class are one of the rarest of the higher tier Aithers, separating themselves from Standards and Djinns,
forming their own society in the barren wilderness. They're never seen in the common society.
They have a lot of traits that are considered strange or unusual in the world of the Aitherion. Such as wings, or a third
eye, even a forked tail. These are very, very hard to encounter. Like Magus, they can master only 3 elements as well,
making them a bit more magically stable than the higher tiers.

The Dhiaaga are the most powerful and unstable of the tiers, being very, very hard to spot or interact with. Having been imbued with extraordinary abilities, these individuals were cursed with the magic's instability which slowly began to kill them.
No one knows how the Dhiaaga came into existence. Some say they were born from the world itself, therefore imbuing them
with their vast power.They too inhabit Vanthias, wandering endlessly and using their abilities for the good of the planet's balance. However by the other subtypes, they are marked as monsters and sometimes shunned or even hunted.
Others say they are the manifestations of long past Orukh, the souls of those that died in the Dire Rift taking the forms of these
beings to keep themselves alive.Very few exist because of two reasons. Dhiaaga are completely unstable and once past the 50th
year many soon will die abruptly, their bodies unable to control the dangerous power within.
The other reason is that because many die, very few Dhiaaga are left to sustain any sort of population and many will become
infertile by their 30s. Very few Dhiaaga reproduce and very few are born as the result, causing the population to slowly dwindle.

The Aitherion (or often called by the slur "Aether Devils" by the Verlet) are a race of anthropomorphic
canid like beings that serve as the primary dominant race of Vanthias, the Verlet being the second, and
the Therukh being the third.
The Aitherion unfortunately do not exactly fit into the common species classifications as they seem to have
a sort of "separation" from the normal means of biology, often because of the numerous phenotypes and
traits the species can have.
{ APPEARANCE }
{{ Body Structure:
Aitherion have a moreso canid/draconic mix regarding their biology, often having a long, whiplike draconic tail while retaining a canid body structure (this is feral form being described, however the Aitherion body structure shifts to a more humanoid structure when they morph into their anthro or humanoid form).

The aitherion have a boxy, doglike face, with two toothlike structures growing from the upper maw that are made of cartilage.
The toothlike structures serve no purpose in their current form (in Proto-Aiths "Ederioth" they initially were made of bone and would have served as a weapon in its own.)
The Aitherion also feature a pair of short, pointed ears (actually size and length depends on the genetics of the individual) that can swivel in any direction the Aither hears sound from.
The tongue of the Aitherion is generally long and pointed, however can also be of different shapes and have color mutations affect them as well

The blood and innards of the species generally can be of any color, regardless of any genetics.
It is not uncommon to see Aithers that have blood colors of blue, green, red, black, orange, etc.

The base colors and markings can be of any type, hue, and brightness, with no exceptions to this rule.

This is the primary form for the Aitherion. they display a humanoid body with characteristics of the feral form. This form is the most used out of all forms for most Aitherion.
This form had initially been the only form for millennia, up until the Dire rift had caused a surge of magic to forever alter the land and mutate the races that dwelled in it. It had soon been accompanied by a secondary form, soon allowing the species to further adapt and survive.
Minimum Height: 4'0"

They will generally use this form for travel or for defense/offense mostly, but some Aitherion have been known to just mostly remain in this form for a large portion of their lifespan.
Feral Aitherion are actually stronger than both their other two forms combined, being able to take down creatures 5x larger than themselves, a feat that has allowed them to become a dangerous opponent to the Verlet, another draconic race of Vanthias.
They still retain all traits in this form, just as in anthro.

This is a most recent adaptation that the Aitherion had acquired. This was the result of the species visiting Earth with the Cynuroa, when the Warp Hole had been opened and passed through.
Some of the Aitherion having begun to study the human race, a result of this was them taking home a considerable number of humans with them to Earth.
Eventually some of them were taken up as mates and resulted in cross-species mating.
The resulting half-breeds from the Aither-humans pairs soon begun to integrate their human genes into the main purebred population, allowing a third form to evolve and become a inborn ability of the species.
The human form retains the Aither's ears, tail, and markings. But the anatomy (they do not have digitigrade feet in this form) will shift to closely resemble that of a human's, and will lose most of the traits in this form, which will return upon shifting to their other forms.

Generally, Aitherion are natural born omnivores, with a leaning to be more carnivorous in nature.
Basically speaking, Aitherion are known to eat just about any type of food, without any difficulty, especially human's or other species's food if they can get their hands on it.
Red meats, fish, spicy food, and sugary things are highly attracting to this species.
{{ Gender, Courtship, and Reproduction:
Aitherion do not become sexually mature up until their late 20's, going for both male and females. even so, it also depends if they have a partner or not should they wish to.
Being mammalian by design, male Aitherion have internal genitalia (being encased in a sheath) and will not unsheathe unless aroused (the Aitherion genitalia is humanoid in form and exhibits the same traits expressed in their tongues). However, male genitalia in their humanoid forms resemble human genitalia.
Females in feral form do not have any visible genitalia other than a slit between their hind legs.
Hermaphrodite Aitherion do exist within this species and have both characteristics of the other two genders.
Herms are physically capable of reproducing as well as the other genders.
Females usually have only two estrus cycles a year, each corresponding to the summer and winter solstices. They'll be more receptive of their mates, therefore ensuing mating and conception.
Aitherion can mate in all three forms without any difficulty:
If conception is successful, gestation will last up to 10-11 months.
Usually prior to (a week before) birthing, the mother will become extremely elusive, territorial and aggressive, defending a certain area that they've selected to birth (ancient times, this would have been the birthing den, a highly enclosed area which the mother will birth). They stop eating two days prior to birth, letting their digestive system clear out prior.
Once birthing starts, the female will disappear in the selected area, refusing any sort of aid offered to them once they begin.
Labor (both in feral and anthro forms) will last up to 8-10 hours, the mother of course, giving birth to 2-3 pups at a time.
It is VERY rare to have more than three or only one pup at a time.
Pups are born blind and helpless, and will remain like this for only a couple days.
After of which, the eyes will open and the pup itself will become quite vocal and more nippy in general. they are unable to walk/crawl however at this point

These subtypes are greatly affected by the world's magic and has permanently altered their aging process greatly.
