The programmers/coders on Weasyl caved in to thethreats demands begging gentle requests and decided to share the secrets of making folders to corporate-owned Furaffinity... after many years of promising to do it first by using two projects; one already abandoned and forgotten and another that would've suffered the same fate even before this "breakthrough", despite the fact that the oldest coder of FA has constantly threaten to permanently destabilize the site if his need for keeping it visually outdated far back to the iMac days is not met?

Posted 10 years agoWelp... found a new home, wasn't easy though. Bleh, this bastard I gave rent money to the entire time, I... I can't even. About a year of being here had to be some hassle over the most ridiculous of things! I understand a curfew of when to cook only because of his employment and the fact that I'm not the most quiet of food makers. But the rest... Oh lord:
House owner or not, my privacy was non-existent. Not sure if a house owner SHOULD just randomly open a door with no lock, let alone do it because of the "lol my place mah rules" thing. But I guess the fact that he never knocks is why I'm whining about it.
Badgering me relentlessly over my fricking WiFi password after purposely cutting his off for goddess-knows-why, and it's only because he saw the modem and router I payed for. I would've said threaten but I he didn't what would happen if I said "no".
And now this? Making plans to moce out without actually telling me, not giving me time to find a new place. That's bad enough, but actually lying to the fucking landlord, saying that I was informed of this much earlier and will leave by Sunday ONLY because he wasn't able to return on Friday? The landlord didn't have much of a say about this either, she just had to wait for the key to be handed over by the first of the month. She was almost as mad as I was when she found out. Okay that's a lie, she's actually a really passive person but yeah, disappointed either way.
So yeah, glad to be rid of that. Not sure if history will repeat itself in this new place, I'm more concerned about the area since I've lived here before. I mean it's good because I know my way around the safe/necessary routes here, but a reunion with some malicious ex-neighbors isn't what I'm here for. Oh well, the tide of fate has changed and it has been 6 years, so perhaps I can rest easy this time. Although the usual errands haven't changed, so neither has my reasons to not stay out the area for so long.
Anyway sorry for boring you guys, I should make a LiveJournal for this or something.
What, Tumblr? Well that's really to keep up with artists that are not there (that and The Drunken Moogle), otherwise I would say I'd rather castrate myself than be there. Tumblr is that awful.

Posted 10 years agoA bit early for the details but that's basically it. I've been on and off with contacting anyone for... well for shitty reasons, but this is one of them.
It turns out that this guy not only planned on leaving this house and New York, but his whole family is almost done with the process and just gotta come back this week to pick up their stuff... and wasn't gonna tell me this. Wonderful.
So I gotta find a new place soon unless I wanna pay over 3000 bucks for the residence/apartment/whateverthisis. And I could only afford $600 a month. But what to say, New York is frickin' costy. Hell a shitty one-room apartment in the shitty part of the Bronx is $1100 monthly!! That's how expensive rent is here.
Oh and yeah I'll be uploading new stuff here, I'll explain why I wasn't going to another time although I know folks don't care and really come for content so hooray I guess? Anyway laters.

~ The medication Ziprasidone is now added to my friend's allergy list for safety measure. Half the "low" dose of 10mg resulted in the kid collapsing before we made it out to the subway train. Glad I gotten help about it but damn...
~ Got to see Jurassic World. I'll admit I had a great time watching for personal reasons but please don't actually watch it. Painfully unbearable, overly stereotypical characters staying alive out of convenience almost as a intended method of punishing you for wanting the beautiful-looking dinosaurs while giving us this "mutated" beast that's just a giant raptor painted white? Why!?
~ Went to the pride parade this year and despite being about 3 hours late I've gotten over 2GB of footage. I need to either make a new Dropbox or maybe use Google Drive to show everyone later. Wonderful time, friendly people and glad to see a NYPD officer actually act like a fun-loving human while doing his job for once. Also I found like 11 gay-accepting churches around this city so far, that's a plus.
Now speaking of pride, I'm keeping this icon the way it is despite the fact that Pride "Week" is over. It's mostly for personal reasons aside a tribute to some douche that doesn't return my calls.
Wanted to put this for the heck of it in order to separate my personal thoughts on Furaffinity. Mostly before what I decide on could be permanent movement towards my production here.

Posted 10 years agoDoes anybody have any info about Geodon personally? Is it good? Does it work? Is it risky or fatal (asking because of those shitty commercials where the side effects are torturous)?
I'll admit I don't like taking any new meds, and with my allergy list growing since the recent decade I feel forced to take precautions. With that I also do not like giving recommendations when others have to take this crap. So what does anyone know about it past Google searching?

Posted 10 years agoConsidering that I've capture alot of the crossfire, I've decided to explain what exactly what is going on in terms of the Eurofurence controversy. Now what I'm about to do is first post the original tweet and then the original quote. There is a screenshot of each tweet/conversation of what is linked, so no loss if the tweets are deleted. Some are hidden as of now. Oh, and some translations are placed as well since some tween were written in German, but it was Bing that translated so grammar errors ahoy. With that said, here we go.
So basically what started some trouble were the recent changes of the Rules of Conduct, this tidbit specifically:
The following items are explicitly NOT allowed in public:
Full-body rubber or vinyl costumes.
Costumes that are visibly "anatomically correct".
Costumes or accessories related to age-play, pet-play or BDSM.
Costumes indecently revealing the wearers own private anatomy.
We may take the liberty to allow additional exceptions if your outfit is exceptionally discrete, tasteful and/or good looking - no promise, though.
Never was told what "good looking" meant for... whoever wrote this, but either way alot of babyfurs were mad about this. Nothing baby-ish is allowed in public, not even pacifiers... which was something covered by the EF Twitter account for some reason, where the true controversy started. Now it did started as a professional explanation about how this was for the sake of curving behavior issues which seemed understandable. But then:

Now I can understand the rules, I can understand why this recent bit placed, but you don't have to be so upfront like this. One of the con staff members however have said that tweet was "An appropriate reply to the person it was directed at, who has a previous history of vocally complaining about this issue." Who was that, well... this guy. Doco. Oh my days... where do I begin...
While many babyfurs dislike the idea of not being err themselves, it was informed that it is JUST the public display and all the cubby stuff is within one's own room. The kids are still welcome... right? Wrong.

One of the ones using it as a ridiculous joke was Evil Sibe. Yes, that Sibe. The "kicked out of a large number of conventions" Sibe. Good god. And it was because of this that many has justified the banning of babyfurs, EXCEPT they were not banned but just age-play accessories in public. Many arguments consist of pointing out hypocrisy, saying that public sex with inflatable toys were okay but pacifiers were not. Other that praised the Rules of Conduct were mostly those that either did not want any horrible public behavior, or just those that dislike babyfurs.
Meanwhile the second day.... hoo boy.
So this babyfur that goes by Glennkit has gotten word of this situation and was disappointed as he was excited to go to EF, and has already registered. Anywho FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YYYYYYYYYYYYYEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
Furious 7 was fucking awesome!! Went on a bizarre date this one night to see it, so worth it. Not much to say though as much as my... date loved it, we did went hysterical over a few things about it. Like "the PC wiz with the thick glasses and/or British accent" clique, the fact that movie ONLY kept going after 12 minutes because the Rock is immortal (and can brake casts with merely flexing), the awkward timeline transition from the guy on Tokyo Drift, and that sexy Romeo Santos from Aventura of all people made this random-ass cameo in my (hope to be) next summer vacation spot. (there's another but the spoilers stop here) And we loved every bit of it. Loved it. All of it. It was badass, it was funny. It was an awesome way to end this series.
And yes, I did choked up a bit from the end. Weh. Aside that scene of sads alone, it was awesome to see Paul Walker's last performance. Usually alot of people would be ass-kissing because of one's passing but... he actually did wonderful on this one. It's like fate waited for him to finish most of this before... well ya know. ;~;

Posted 10 years agoHave to say this first. Oh gods, so many b-day wishes from last night were so wonderful to read... after class. Also for once Skype wanted to work, now I just realized all the contacts that I have to keep up with. Either way thank you all for the messages and hope that we stay in touch.

Yeah I'm back from some very boiling hot state that I do not wanna move in for medical reasons. I had fun, it was really stressful due to my cousin's road rage throughout most of the vacation but I still had a good time. ;~;
Anyway yes I'm aware of what has happened to this place now. It's depressing beyond what has transpired throughout the years. The buyout to IMVU has been seen as alot of things: typical sellout to a money/hungry whore, a economical miracle, an excuse to buy more oil and Poptarts behind our backs, a reaction to Weasyl getting their way via blackmail.... I mean I couldn't keep up with it all. I for one am a bit surprised as most of the reasons that the staff gained/retained their position in their time seemed to be because of the wholeHigh SchoolPopufur mentality, and some of the staff are as subtle about it as a train wreck.
Now it's all sold to a CEO that's a terrible liar. Like, Brett, alot of people here are not as ditzy as your underage customers. People have actual bills to pay. Nobody has time for the same pseudo-passive jabber that Sean keep drilling into our heads since the moon landing. Just do to this site what the makers of Candy Crush can most likely do better.
On the thought of people taking off well.... let's face it the only way for people to not be a total dick about it is if you say you are too busy with collage or kids. Every other reason is worth en execution because derps are too lazy for E361 or someshit. Posted 10 years agoWell now that everyone is recovering from hangovers, I'd like to say that I'll be off the city for over a week. At the 26th I depart to Orlando and spend my spring break with a few loony bins.

Posted 10 years agoShould've done this hours ago, and I'm sorry for that. But still.... hi. It's officially 8 years since I've stumbled into this Furry Fandom.... this.... Community type thingy. For a while I've been trying to figure out what to say about this, and even annoyed people about. But sadly... I got nothing. To be perfectly honest, I didn't really thought of what to say. I was revisiting places that I haven't gone to in a looooooooooooong time, places that reminded me of what I've done to get this far and the loons that have saved my ass one way or another. It's mostly tear-jerking but in a good way for once.

Posted 11 years agoI should be sleeping. Especially tonight. I'm not even sure what to say. It has been what, over a decade? I dunno, I'm not that good at counting the years. If anything I'm grateful the internet can do that for me. Though as much of a simpleton I tend to be no matter where I am, I'm glad I can see change and development throughout the years.. at least.
Though for those many years I've felt like crap. In the past it was about the disturbance of family affairs and the thought of loved ones I thought I could never keep at the time. Now it's from the many, many things that you've done for me, because I feel like it'll be an eternity before I can pay you back. You are basically once of the 5 people that have saved my ass countless of times, whether I ask for help or not. And every time I do, it honestly doesn't feel right.

That's just it. That's what has got me thinking recently. Actually no, I was thinking of this for the last couple of years. It plays on my head like a bad song. I mean anyone can say that after-school special stuff, but it always feels weird and uncomfortable for me. Like if I just simply go "Okay!" and move on then it just feels like I'm not caring about the favors, like if I'm a kid that has no idea what just happened. I'm tired of being that ungrateful brat. Besides, that's one of the major plans I've had while I'm here fixing my life: Repay personal debts, conquer possible anxiety, find a good waifu (or be one, I have no idea at this point), learn another language, and everything else I can't think of. My clock says 4am so I can't think so well.
Bleh, I'll just get to the point: Whether it's technically or figuratively or literally, you're the closest to a mom that I've ever had. I love you.
In a few hours I'll be helping out with this voyage to who-knows-where. I do know I will visit from time to time, but I have no clue where will I go in the future. I'm really dreading the future...

Hooray for another year where everyone is gonna say "WORST YEAR EVAH" because of superficial reasons. But what do I think about 2014? No idea, there's so much disappointing moments from certain people that I can make an essay out of. Yet this turned out to be the best year of the decade for me, and the ONLY reason that this is technically true is because I'm practically living "Happily Ever After". Hell, the previous years involved 4 types of abuse, attempted murder, preventing another kid's suicide, rape, getting blamed for a shitty crime, all while keeping loved ones from getting involved. But by the time 2013 ended, I get a (stable) home, get got out of an meaningless & abusive relationship that only prolonged due to peer-pressure, an actual lethal threat gets incarcerated with no bail, and a financial clusterfuck has been solved. So now I just have to fix the rest as I physically grow up. As for 2014, there were alot of good highlights but a few can be posted in public:
One of which would be going to Anthrocon, which was almost impossible if it weren't for
RatchetLomu. <3 But most that I've learned there is that anxiety will fuck up what could've been a more fulfilling 4-5 day vacation, Pittsburgh is as expensive as Manhattan, and that the voice of Snips from FIM (and Jon fricking Talbain from Darkstalkers) is sexy.
Another highlight would be my first organized meet. Even with just 4 others showing up, it was as successful as it can get. Despite this, I don't wanna do it again. Leadership in general makes me nervous. I'll just suggest ideas and at the most be someone's assistant, but that's all! Pretty much everything else was worrying about financial and housing problems without them even happening, and studying... loooots of studying.
Other than that, there's also alot of things that I've learned from '14:
~The Darwin theory is bullshit, and if you're (un)lucky enough you'll live with the prime example for at least a year.
~If you're passive-aggressive, live in North Korea. People will hate you less.
~Hipsters are as boring and one-dimensional as the people that hate them.
~People will care about their opinions being challenged once you capitalize your sentences.
~Remaking a franchise can either go wrong or right depending on the necromancer.
~Bitching about your high school days never matters if repeating your bully's actions gets you popular.
~ALL GOOD GAMES THE LESS THAN 20 BUCKS FOR NO REASON!
Also, game reviewers do have standards.
~When one of your worst game you ever made is just 13 videos on a slideshow and your fanbase forgives you, you did something right.
~And trying to breed M&Ms is a difficult task.
Errm, so yeah. Off to the next one...

Happy holidays here at rainy days New york! Yipes, now I know how the U.K. fells... sorta. I was gonna post this while drunk. See during this party I kinda overdid it on this Brandy Ice cream treat and when I came back home to write an update, I crashed on the floor.
Anywho, I managed to get my own internet connection via Cablevision. The downside is that it only happened because I was tricked by some folks, an odd "present" even though I'll be paying for this one. What's worse is that the previous problem is not even resolved and the tosser I've living with has dissapeared for 2 weeks now so there's no way to telling if he'll discount my rent if he's not planning to deal with his internet connection (original deal involved using his SSDI) while at the same time gonna hide the existence of a router and modem. @,@
Aww well, a picture is coming soon. The dimensions are actually 10400 x 13633 so I'll need to find the best way to shrink it down first.
[Edit] Gah! Forgot to explain the "downside" part. See I barely had for myself, let alone X-mas gifts for anyone (sorry guys ;~;) so the idea of paying for a new modem while possibly paying for a broken one that isn't even mine is kind of stressing me out. Aaaand apperantly T-Mobile wants me to pay a shitton of money as well. So yeah, not that calm about it now. >.<

Posted 11 years agoFrom what I've heard from the forums so far is that it's either the PSU or the motherboard is fucked and needs to be replaced. I'm really scared about this, because not only do I have that much for either of these (plus I owe so damn much), but to dismantle this crappy desktop without knowing WHAT the true problem is rather stressful. Along with that, nobody in this blooming' city will do it without a price! Yes I know a Dell in general wasn't worth the money, but I only got it a year ago because my cousin's meddling. It was either this or nothing right?
Anyway, if I'm not online that often then this is the reason. I feel like I fucked this thing up during cleaning, therefore fucked up MORE chances of talking. I'm truly sorry everyone. I do have this old phone with free text, so I'm not all gone.

Posted 11 years agoJournal about aftermaths and so on. BUT BEFORE ANY OF THAT, I'd like to thank everyone so far for watching and faving (praise to the original artists though) the random art here. I know I barely respond but I don't really have an excuse aside laziness for it all considering that I still browse here. I didn't forget though, sorry either way.
Now for post-event things:
Furmeet @ Denny's: I'll be truly honest, I really got so nervous about this idea and constantly thought to cancelling. I went for it anyway and I gotta say that it seems to work out okay (okay as in no Molotov cocktails being thrown into the place) though I wished I remembered how costy Denny's is. Then again it was my first time going to one. XD
Anywho, I'd like to thank everyone that attended:

I'm not planning on hosting anytime soon, though I'm really glad it went okay.
Nightmare Night 14': Didn't do SHIT this year! The plan was like last year: Go trick-o-treating with my twin sisters in a rather bountiful neighborhood.
One of them got pneumonia (poor baby gots asthma) so everyone stayed behind. But instead of me going alone, I get a bad cold. I'm hoping that I recover BEFORE Tuesday because of what I'm due for, as if my lack of free sweets wasn't bad enough. ;~;
Artwork backlog: Don't ever tell me that Dropbox is useless. Also I might have ADHD, but actual docs and shrinks are hard to get by in this city, especially with my insurance. Erf...
That's all I gotta say, I might talk about Five Nights @ Freddy's in the next journal if I have the time. See ya!

Furmeet weekend! Two meets for the NY Furs!!
Posted 11 years agoAs half-ass as it is, I'm still gonna do this. There's gonna be a furmeet on Denny's hosted by me, though depending on some ideas it might be a bit short unless anyone's willing to freelance. There's also Nintendo World which has a event... for Pokémon Art Academy. o.o;
The Denny's is in Lower Manhattan: 150 Nassau St, New York, NY 10038
Saturday, October 25 at 1:00pm.
Directions: Take the A, C, J, Z, 2, 3, 4, or 5 train to Fulton. It's on Spruce st. and Nassau.
You can either transfer from the D/B to A/C on either West 4, Columbus Circle, or 145st depending on your location.

Possible NY Furs meet + site aftermath
Posted 11 years agoOkay so I was suppose to do this like 20 centuries ago, but aside work and trying to not have a nervous breakdown over this one particular "holiday", I got distracted.
But anyway, I was planning a furmeet on lower Manhattan since it's not every year when ya see a Denny's pop up on NYC. The idea is still in the process so I can't mark exactly when to do this (most likely next weekend), buuuut I'm open for suggestions on what else can we do before this is chiseled in.

So how was that movie "Attack of the DDoXYS" for you? To me it was kinda shit. I mean it wasn't "pretentious-ass Michael Bay" terrible, but it still sucked.
With that said, I kinda hope that alot of you artists in here can learn to use your resources better this time. History/reputation/population or no, YOU do not have to rely on one place to do business. Then again you can always work at Pizza Hut... if that still exists.

Posted 11 years agoSo from me getting a cold in my sleeveless shirt, I'm getting the feeling that summer miiiiight be over. Well,
Errm... life update thingy: Not going anywhere according to... everyone, not even a rent increase. If I do leave someday, the last folks that I'm getting help from are the furries here. Honestly, everyone available are.... I dunno either hostile, arrogant or a mix of both. The rest are either have no space for themselves or moved to the other side of the world, no wonder there hasn't been any furmeets in the city anymore.
Also my vacation officially ends by the following Monday. Bleh!
Also I gotta stop talking about stuff I'm gonna do that will eventually be scrapped. It's embarrassing. XD
To be honest I've invested my time more on Corruption of Champions and emulated games that don't have an existing cartridge. Why do I always sound uninterested in the middle of an argument all the time? Well there's your answer, CoC & the fan-translated Mother 3 reminded me what's more important in life.... PIZZA BURGERS AND CIDER!!!
