So, i was out for a walk today, letting my ears get pounded bloody by the mighty force of nature, deemed Metal by mere mortals.... And i started thinking about something... What if there were actual metal gods?
Celestial beings of magnificent power and omnipotence that are only limited by the Rule of Cool?
how bloody amazing wouldnt THAT be, right?
SO, THEN i started thinking about art... and somewhere in the deep damp and dusty recess that is my head, a rusty, long silent gear started creaking into motion. What if i were to visualize such a magnificently awesome spectacle?
Would faces be melted, brains burst and pants shat out of sheer incredibleness?
....Well considering my artistic skill, no! But that doesnt mean it wouldnt be fun!
SO BASICALLY, HERE GOES
I am going to draw FIVE(5, V, LESSTHANSIX) pictures, one for each KEY part of a metal band, featuring the gods of metal, the Titans! Each of the lil pictures will have its own, epic, viking-saga inspired subtext that i'll cook up, describing the particular element of the music they represent in a...semicomical way!
And guess what?
I was thinking of adorning the Titans with YOUR faces....

I have been totally really fucking busy the last month or so, working my fucking ass off (But only a fraction of it getting PAID...).
My parents are doing a retouch on the house, and so they drafted me for painting/fixing/sanding duty. Shit sucks -_-

No clue... either since I was 15, or since i got the Starfox64 game, depending on how timid the base of the fandom is xD

*How did you find furry?
My first experience with anything furry, was the hallowed STARFOX 64<3
Before the Krystal days, that is, and i just really fucking loved Wolf. Sure he is a guy, but his badassed nature, british accent and nemesis/friend role with Fox, i couldnt help but love him. And thats where it all began. It had a break for a few years, but when i was...15 i spose, i stumbled across a funny little site called deviant Art, and this is where my fandom started to bloom for real. I signed up, and maed some (REALLY weak) attempts on it myself, meeting the most amazing people i know today through there. and it is through them I have gotten the love for furries that I have today :)

*What's your reason for furry (what interested you to get into the community)?
urrrh... pretty much just the wilderness-aspect that appealed to me in the beginning. I liked how people could identify themself with an animal, and make amazing art with beautiful characters. Of course, as time passed, i started noticing them girlies in particular xDD
What can i say, fur doesnt make boobs any less sexy!
But, despite my leanings towards anthro girls over guys, i still love em both to hell and back, so dont getme wrong :D

*What's Furry to you?
Furry to me is....well.... i dont REALLY know.
Some people place the bar around fursuiting, while others place it down by mere liking anthros! I suppose I am of the latter, a person with an interest for anthros are a furry to me, if only a light one :)
Furry is, as a fandom, an expression of freedom and open-mindedness, to not be afraid of identifying yourself with another species. Not saying bestiality here.
Furries comes in all shapes and sizes, not to mention hardcore-factors (Some merely like anthros, some have intercourse wearing fursuits...) and you should respect one and all for their ability to see beyond the human skin, and staying true to themself..... hell, in some ways, the furry is the new black/gay/heavy metal/gamers. Meets lots of resistance, criticism and resistance to begin with, but after a while, it will grow into society. Society just has to accept it >: D

*If someone found out you're a furry and asked you about it how would you respond?
That...reeally depends on who the person is?
Well, for example, all my friends know im a sucker for werewolves. like, really really bad. But some friends know more than others. If, say, my ARMYBUDDY/IRL BESTIE was to ask if I was a furry, i have no idea what i'd say. He kicks ass, but is somewhat narrowminded at times... officially, im just a fan of werewolves xD
However, other buddies know more, seeing how i look at and like anthros and all that, and they dont really seem to give a fuck xD
All in all, if a STRANGER came up to me and asked, i'd decline, but leave a positive remark on furries. In case the person is a furry, ill find out and befriend :D
If he is a flamer, well... I just dont have the stamina to handle more shit right now, so i'd rather beat him up LATER xD

*What are your favorite aspects of our community?
hmm... probably the fine art, the beautiful characters and the (mostly) loveable, awesomely openminded and flexible artists and furries themself. Many of my closest ones are furries, and they just have this incredible humble attitude and respectful nature about them!

*Do you use any furry terms? (i.e. yiff, paws, murr?)
I use the word Yiff when referring to dem furry pronz, buuut.. other than that, no.
I see no reason to change my vocabulary :D

*What do you wish furry was NOT associated with?
people who fuck while wearing mascotsuits...
Thats what a furry IS to the media today, and it is a highly profitable image for them, as people looove to read about what they think is morbid. Most media (such as Tyra fucking Banks, you imbeciled cockmongling twatwhore) drag out the most extreme of us and brand the furry community with a terrible burnmark in the process. They dont focus on the milder side of it, and so, the general public see furries as horny sickos who finds Winnie the Pooh sexually attractive, a far from truthful opinion heavily influenced by the media.

Note: No hate on the people that DO have sex in their suits, by all means, gorge yourselves. I just disapprove of the fact that public auto-associates the entire furry fandom with that activity, and frowns upon it :/
They do the exact same with heavy metal musicians, so i have sympathy for ya :I


*How strongly do you feel about someone bashing the community as a whole?
Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
I just find them tremendously closeminded, and probably rather uninformed, as well as annoying xD

Sadly, the media is the mind of the public these days. And, as stated above, media does its very best to show furries in a bad light, going as far as making talkshow-hosts gawk as the invited extremists put their cards on the table for all to see. yes Tyra, im looking at you. God dammit woman, i swear i will snap your neck for this.

*We all know furries have alot of sexual aspects in this fandom, What's your opinion on it?
Sex is a part of life itself, and.. well, some would say the MEANING of life. We grow to reproduce, to bring the species further, and then we die.
Sexuality influences music, art, and even the way of life, so why shouldnt it influence furrydom? Its a natural process.
Sex is something of a mainstay, no matter what we do, its gunna be there.
Furry porn, Yiff, is somewhat of a taboo, but to me, it is as natural for furries to have their own brand of porn as it is for gays. After all, why should it be different?

Uhmmm.... I have haad... 2 fursonas up in the years, my first one being Jotun.

Im rather...shaky, when it comes to spirits and all. I have never seen one, or heard from one, as far as I know, hence im a sceptic. But then again, for all I know, I am an ignorant, not seeing obvious signs. Maybe they are guiding us all, we just dont know it? Or maybe they dont exist, and there is no such thing as an afterlife. In any case, i certainly feel more than merely alive when I am around wolves, especially if i get close contact of the handfeeding/petting sort...

Right, so i have this problem....
I am currently not writing on the story, because i have to REWRITE everything that has already been written. Thats right, i have to go through EVERY letter. Theres loads of them. And no, copypasting doesnt work D:

Those are the ones im trying to get rid of. What is happening, is that Open Office has this special format which FA cant seem to read. If i try uploading directly from Open Office, it wont work. So, what i do to counteract this problem, is to Copy/paste everything into Notepad. Here, i have to rewrite the whole bloody thing to remove all the little signs, punctuations and such that FA cant read. This takes quite a long time. And yes, i know i miss a few, but im too sick of editing to RE-edit it afterwards xD

SO, what i need help with, is this...
Does anyone know how to FIX this thing, so i can just upload stuff and get on with the story? I am as far as part 8 now, but i cant post it up due to all this editing, and its really killing my creativity -_-;;

Sometimes, the humans are there, and most often they are a bad thing in some way... Others, thyre simply just not there, and never was, never will be :3

Animals most often exist, in one way or another...
As i said, it all depends on the world in which the story takes place, but there is ALWAYS wildlife. Whether they are traditional or new, however, thats a different cookie >:3

They exist, and they are treated like just another race.

It depends... I like both a bit of sci-fi, and some old school, and maybe even a crossover now and then! But im sorta weak for the late thirties-early forties era, with tommyguns, nice cars, jazz and crime <3

Oh, this is a biggie...
But ONCE AGAIN, it all comes down to the ever present storyline.
See, if i write a story with anthros, the variation is pretty limited. Of course, some are more bestial than others, but even humans have this quality. Rougher hair/mane/fur, and different bodybuilds for example!
Other times, if i write about, say werewolves, they will vary from complete animals to complete humans. So yeah, the variation is a bit bigger there...

8. How do the different furry “species” get along in your furry world?

...How many times do i have to say that it depends on the chosen storyline? xD
In my current one, there is a VERY low tolerance towards predators, and the cities are populated by people with dilluted blood. Even if they have a predatorian genestock, its not very strong after years and years of mixing with other breeds.
HOWEVER, there are those who are pretty pure in blood, and they are very likely to commit a murder of sorts. Hence, they are not allowed in cities.
Not that everyone within the walls are all happy, they kill and maim eachother like everyone else! Its just that they are FAR less likely to start committing murders for no reason...

OKAY, so...
You might be asking yourself "Who the fuck is this guy anyway? And why doesnt he have anything posted up? And why is he even here, to stalk? And what the fuck is a Corey?"
WELL, let me quench your uncontrolled thirst for information (you LEECHES, coming here drinking my infojuice...) by answering these.

First of all, Im here because i like art. And i like art thats all..fluffy and stuff!
Joined up just a few days ago, so im still pretty fresh with all these new, shiny buttons and things.(Particularily the NUKE button...Oh joy, i need to get one of these in my room<3 )

Second, the reason i dont have anything up for you to throw yourself at, fangs and claws first, is because...well, aside from being NEW here, im also not the greatest artist around. Im not ranting tho, its all my fault for not drawing more :D
However, i DO a piece now and then, and ill prolly post something up when it comes around. Thing is, drawings are not the artistic release that i am best at. According to certain peers (HEY KITTS AND COR, THATS YOUR CUE :D) i manage to not fail miserably at writing :3
Thats right, i write little...story...things. And im working on one right now, called "Winterbourne"! I just might post up the prologue for it soon, as well as bits and pieces of the story, all in nice chronological order. And i would appreciate it very much if someone out there could give me some feedback and constructive criticism. Hell, maybe you'll even like it :D
