Well, I thought I'd write this as it's been nearly 2 years since I found the fandom and thought I should share my story of how and why I became a furry.

This all began in July 2012, I had just broken up with my long term girlfriend of nearly two years after we had troubles. This broke my heart and destroyed my soul and spirit, I battled with depression and thoughts of suicide and thought I was fighting a loosing battle as I sank lower and lower.

This was until I met  pokepaws she introduced me to the fandom and helped me get back on my feet and has been a constant and loyal friend to me ever since. She helped me create my fursona Varius who she will be making into suit.

The second furry I met was Reskell( tTolco492), I was actually on a stall in college as she was in suit and we became friends and have been ever since. Reskell also helped me find my current suit Charley, in preparation for my first meet (the 2nd ever Llandudno meet) Reskell invited me to a small suiting time with her,  lupestripe and  naxthewolf, it was a big help to me as I was concerned about being a first time suiter around so many others.

Now nearly 2 years later and my life has been completely turned around, I have a wonderful girlfriend and have made some of the best friends I could ever ask for, such as:

So that's my story, I couldn't ask for a better life and a better bunch of crazy, crazy friends.
