My Roomate is making a Card game.
They need a rough total of 45 pieces of individual art (This includes all cards, icons, box art, etc.)
Unfortunately, This is a position, not a commission.
Payment is contingent on success of the game.
If the game makes money, you make money.
If the game makes a lot of money, you make a lot of money.
Expansions are planned, so if the first game does well, expansions could provide more work.
This is NOT "Art for the exposure" I hate that shit!
But this is an investment and a risk, so please, if you rely on commissions to live, i would not take this.

If the game fails, and no money is made, i'm afraid that there will be nothing with which to pay.
This is an opportunity for artists who are not swamped with work and have time and energy to devote to a project which might not turn out lucrative.
If you have confidence in your ability, but don't get a lot of commissions or you want more practice and work, with the potential of a payday, please note me.
Again, this is NOT "art for exposure. " I cannot stress that enough.
There is NOT a situation in which they make money on your work and you don't!
and i don't expect them to want you to work without talking through the game and seeing if you feel it is a good investment of your time.

I understand artists rely on commissions and stuff to make it a lot of the time. So again, if you need comms to make rent, this is not for you.

But just as the designers of the game spend many hours of their time putting the game together with no guarantee of success,
they need an artist willing to invest the same.

So if you have skill and time and energy and you want to give it a shot, note me and we'll see what you think about the situation.


*Edit: I am sorry, I forgot to mention. While the Game may involve some anime interests and the use of the concept of "fetishes" It is not nsfw (Probably rated pg-15-17 i guess.)
and For the first base game there are only humanoids. No furries just yet. (Those are planned for an expansion if the game gets traction. )

I deeply feel for people who go through loved ones with this frightening disease and i truly hope we find a way to beat it soon so no more people have to suffer from it or it's likeness.

So my room plans fell through and the hotel is sold out...

SOoooooo car was indeed totaled, buuuut i somehow got over twice the bluebook value from my insurance.. O_O
so lucky me :D! i loved my car, and in the end she gave her life for me and left me a big help in getting her successor.

i'll never forget how much i loved this car <3

Anyway...the payout was only 2k less than i originally paid for the car :O!

Found a good deal, have a good loan and a good strategy... will post a pic if i can manage to make it all work.

So, i found out today my car is totaled...only worth about 2k :\
so i won't be getting a good amount for a down payment on anything good.
I managed to squeak by with a less than terrible loan opportunity, but the car i want is just barely out of reach.
I am not a good negotiator when it comes to cars, and all my friends who drive sexy cars are convincing me (Despite this car being high rated and sensible)
that i need some rust bucket and are just busting any hope i have with major negative attitudes whenever i find something cool.
but they have points...
cars, new or used...have ridiculous markup and aftercosts.
So i have to find a balance :\...and hope i can hold my own against their BS head games.
Wish me luck...with my car finally declared rekt, it's only a matter of time till insurance makes me give back the rental. then it's bye bye ride to work.

Hey, i've been reading Parahumans: Worm lately and i'm in love with it.
For those of you who don't know it's a blog based web serial that is enormous and excruciatingly well written by a person named Wildbow.
It's about superheroes and supervillains made from normal people with insanely cool power sets that one wouldn't expect.
It's longer than the entire harry potter series spanning 1.7 million well crafted words!
I want to get commissions based off of it. but i would rather work with people who know it than trust my crappy ability to describe it to artists. (Sorry)

Hey so i found this on my roomates youtube and had to share it XD!!!!
We made this game in college. robot unicorn attack...but with ponies :D (and multiplayer so yeah!)
we made this in microsoft XNA (rip) using C#

All the sound design is mine (and rushed so forgive please)
pulled voices from the flash soundboard. sprites and poses pulled from generalzoi's flash. (Credit and a big thanks to them)and the horrible running animation sprites were me :P! (i don't know how horses is...) Coding done by My roomate and myself.
all music was originally composed by me using fruity loops.
Voice acting for derpy credit to my friend Maelyn Couch.

blah blah... it was a fun project and turned out to be the most played game demo in class.
We made a perfect grade and the professor even used it to teach his 1102 game dev class the next year. XD
i'm proud of this mess we made in a week.
