New Computer.... Sorta
Posted 15 years agoYay, ive got it all up and operational. Yesterday I received some of my new computer parts from Amazon. I got a new processor and motherboard. My only regret is the lack of DDR3. But regardless, i got the Tri Core 2.9ghz Athlon x3 435 and a Gigabyte MA785GM-US2H motherboard specifically for its use of ACC and its ability to unlock.
And im happy to report that im one lucky son of a bitch. There seems to be no fault in unlocked 4th core, and has only failed under stress tests while overclocked around about 3.5ghz. (I currently have it overclocked to 3.1ghz) I was doubly lucky when i got one of the good unlocks. A Deneb core with 6mb L3 cache. So not only did i save 30 bucks going with a 3 core processor, i got a quad core that would normally cost twice as much.
The only downside is that the unlocking disables core temperature readings, so i have to be a little more careful. Also because of this, my easy overclock software, cant work properly cuz the tests cant get good readings. But the mobo has a decent temp sensor on either the north bridge, or right next to the CPU so im good. I probly could use an aftermarket heatsink and fan though.
Regardlesss, the motherboard and processor are both a considerable step up from my old system for hardly any cost. And now that i have windows 7 64 bit, i can get more than the 4gigs of ram i currently suffer with.
On a side note, im really hating that windows 7 doesnt support changing the default install directories, like XP did. Which sucks since i usually give the OS a rather small partition, and software a large one. Thankfully, with a few reg-edits, i got it to point to the drive of my choosing, but im still not satisfied. The only real benefit, is that they let you change the location of certain folders under your user directory.
All in all, its working good though. Upgrading to 7, and getting a hugely better mobo and processor, has greatly improved PC performance. Now i just have the task of reinstalling just about everything, all over again. Good thing i keep steam backed up on another drive.

Prices Change
Posted 15 years agoI would swear up and down, that some of the prices for the products i was looking at friday night, have dropped in price come sunday night / monday morning. Now, it was only a few bucks change, but still. So i have to wonder if maybe some online businesses might make prices a tad higher on high business days like friday/saturday.
I dunno, just giggling at it. More than likely im just going senile.

Buying Ram - Ram Questions
Posted 15 years agoI dont really have the money right now, but that hasnt stopped me from looking for some new ram. Normally i buy computer stuff from newegg, but this time around im looking for cheap prices on amazon.
Which brings me to the question....
http://www.amazon.com/HP-Memory-240...../ref=de_a_smtd
Why is that ram so cheap? Im guessing its because they have some in bulk. But, will this ram only work with specific mobos? Was it ram made for servers? Without a model number i really cant look up the details on other websites. But that is hands down the cheapest ram i can find.
More than likely when i do buy ram, itll probly be from newegg again. But this ram has me intrigued.

Buying Computer Parts
Posted 15 years agoDue to me getting some amazon gift cards for my rewards stuff from my debit card, im debating buying computer components. Id like to get computer parts that will be more upgrade friendly, as compared to my current set up, which doesnt support AM3 socket processors.
What i would like to get is a AMD Tri core processor and motherboard. After a bit of investigating, ive found the two that fit the bill the most.
The first, is one of the more stable and common tri core processor. The Athlon II X3 435. It is a 2.9Ghz tri core, that some have the ability to have a 4th core unlocked with the Advanced Clock Calibrations, or ACC, built into the motherboard bios. The only reason i dont jump to the 440 even though it costs the same, is that its even less likely to be able to have the 4th core unlocked. (The key to whether it can be unlocked can be found in the serial number of the processor, which will sadly be a gamble upon purchase. But even if i cant unlock the 4th core, its still considerably more affordable than a quad.)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16819103724
However, im looking at a couple different motherboards. The biggest choice is between a Gigabyte or a Biostar board. However, the main deciding factor in the board, is that it has ACC, which from what i gather, some boards that used to have it, may have had that function removed at the request of AMD. However, the most likely suspects to have this feature, are boards with either an SB710 or SB750 south bridge. And i would prefer a board with either a 785 or 790 north bridge.
The most commonly suggested motherboard is a gigabyte one, as that seems to be the prefered brand. The most commonly suggested ones that have ACC seem to no longer be actively sold, but there are still a few that may potentially have the system im looking for. Im personally comparing two.
The first...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16813128394
Its a gigabyte that is commonly suggested with the tri core. Its a good all around system and should be compatible with the ram i already own. (DDR2)
The second...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....2E16813128378R
This item is open box, but has the 790 and sb750 chipsets which makes it a little more powerful. Also, it being a full atx mobo, it has a few more slots and options. It also has the benefit of DDR3 which will make the system a bit longer lasting for future upgrades. (Im not sure how a tri core will handle ddr3 though.)
The Third...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16813128432
This one is more of the top of the line. Its basically a carbon copy of the of the other gigabyte boards of its class, but it has USB 3.0 support. So its a little more future proof than the others, but at the same time a bit more costly. It having those chipsets im after, suggests it to has ACC support.
So what do yall think? Should i just go for the cheapy of the cheap mother boards. Its the tried and true one, its been tested and has been found to be a good board. The other boards are a bit more iffy, especially the open boxed one. But they are a bit more future proof. Im mostly looking to upgrade my system before i install windows 7, so i dont have to go back and install it again later. And the main reason im looking for a board thats a bit more future friendly, is that id rather simply buy a new processor down the line, not an entire new system like im having to do now.
Will USB 3.0 be a deciding factor?
Should i completely forget the first board since it uses DDR2?
Should i stick with the first board, that way i dont have to buy new ram?
Will any of this shit explode if i install windows 7 64 bit?
If the main reason im looking to install 64 bit is to go beyond 4 gigs of ram, doesnt that make the third question a bit foolish? (Seeing as id be buying more ram for it eventually anyways.)
Any feed back is always welcome.

Feeling Good - PC TV
Posted 15 years agoDespite it taking a grand total of 2 days... and im still not done with it yet. Im quite glad that ive been able to successfully fully integrate my new RF remote with my PCs.
The reason im feeling good about this is that you have no idea just how much of a pain in the ass that was. Now, i do admit i got the crapiest, oldest controller money can buy, but it was cheap and available. Its some RF Invidia remote control that has like no proper driver support.
Thankfully, after a quick search i discover a program called Girder, to help me use the remote. After disabling the generic drivers, and using the plugins with that software, i quickly discover just how much of a piece of shit Girder actually is. Which is odd, since the program is fairly powerful in what it can do.... it just doesnt do it very well. And thus becomes impossible to succesfuly program for true use. (Keep in mind, this was a program that was originaly developed as a means of controlling your house through your computer, not your computer with a remote.)
Thankfully, after searching for solutions, i find people equally bitchy about the software as i am. Until someone finally links me to EventGhost.
EventGhost works in a very similar fashion, but is much more streamlined for simple use. Its a program that was obviously designed to be an input for your PC and not some automated household system. Because of this, the program has more sophisticated plugins that work more directly and better with the hardware. Also, it has much better programing functionality to program the correct keyboard and other shortcuts. Not to mention its free, when girder is something you tech have to pay for. ^^
But anyways, if you have a remote, or are just looking for simplified macro controls to help view media on your computer, EventGhost is the program to go with.
(Do keep in mind though that Girder does have good systems for automation. Just be sure not to use any of their preset commands. Youll be stuck making everything from scratch.)
Oh and on a side note. I had no idea that Boxee had porn in it. Not to mention a generous amount of it. Quality stuff to.
Now im debating on whether or not to keep the remote attached to my computer for my own use, or if i should finally finish setting up the media PC for the living room TV. I may wait until i get a proper IR receiver for that instead, so i can use the universal remote. Well, its a fun thing to show off with in the living room though. ^^ Just gotta finish setting up that old laptop more proper.

Doing Something Rash
Posted 15 years agoI just uninstalled TF2. No longer shall it hold its grip over my free time. From now on, ill have to find some other game to play, for i shall never have the patience to wait for it to redownload and install any time soon.
Hopefully, this will get me more productive... but it will most likely mean ill just play other games...
Either way, i spend about 20-40 hours a week playing that game, so... yah. I need it gone.

Cheap EyeToy
Posted 15 years agoIf one of the fancy EyeToys for the ps3 is something your wanting to buy, especially if your escited about their new motion controller like i am, keep an eye out for the Eye of Judgement game. This game may seem worthless.... and it is. But if you get the bundled version, you can often get it extremely cheap. I got mine for like 15 bucks from toys r us once. So keep an eye out, and if your lucky, you can get it cheap.
APB Beta
Posted 15 years agoOh fuck yah. I dont think yall will see anything new from me for a while..... Yay, this is gonna be awesome... save for the beta testing part.
Coloring Style
Posted 15 years agoIf there is one thing i constantly experiment with... other than how to draw paws, its how i color. Now, keeping that in mind, I often judge how well i do on an image, based on its favs to view ratio. Most of the time, the subject of the image changes these numbers of views and favs, but generally, the ratio stays about the same.
Anyways, ive noticed that certain images get a better ratio than others. Sometimes i find it odd, as i found one image to be drawn better than another, but the other gets a better ratio.
But to be honest thats besides the point. The point is, id like for you guys to quickly review a few of my recent submissions. Id like some feed back on the way they care colored.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3538458 - Hyper Pink
- This is a style i often color in. I use a transparent, hard brush for the highlights. And a soft brush for the shading. With a bit of a bright highlight near the edges to show light source. I like this method because its soft, but shows the shadows and highlights well.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3461937 - Bitches Love Me
- This one uses a lot more blending with soft brushes, but more importantly uses dynamic colors for the shading.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3533143 - Eox Ref Sheet
- This one gets a great ratio compared to the others. Is it simply because of all the nice poses, or do yall like the way they are colored? Would you still like the images if they were each seperate instead of compiled like this? The shading is done with a soft brush. Highlight were originally done with an opaque brush, but i made them bright. I then blurred the living hell out of it, which gives it that soft blended look throughout.
Does that method of coloring look better than my normal style? Does that soft blend of color for the highlights make the image look more apealing?
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3381401 - Its a Trap
- This one gets a horrible fav to view ratio. Does the traditional style of coloring and texture of it make it look less appealing? I personally find the more traditional medium look far more intersting from an artistic perspective. However, is the subject of the image just not to everyones liking?
Anyways, take a moment to review the different images. Does any of the coloring styles catch your eye? Which one is your favorite? Which would you prefer to see more of?
More than likely ill continue to just be dynamic with my method of coloring. All of this mostly comes from the great ratio i got from the reference image. The only reason i find this a bit odd is that i find some parts of it to be poor anatomy, but at the time i was just going for fun to draw. I figure everyone likes it because they thought it was a nice ref sheet, not so much that each part was well drawn.

Server Closing
Posted 15 years agoA sad even is transpiring this weekend. My fav TF2 server, the Feared Gamers server, will be closing down, mostly due to inactivity. Even though its been a while since ive played on that server, and i still have the furry servers, it will be very sad to see this server go.
It was one of the few all speak servers that had a good group of players on it. It is still the main reason i enjoyed tf2 so much, and why i played it so often. No other server has even come close to comparing to how much fun ive had on that server. (If one of the TFP servers ever goes perma all talk, that will be epic, and i will play on it, even when i should be at work.)
Sadly the server is closing down, and i feel a bit of shame in that. Even though i kept the FG tag in my name, i rarely ventured to the server... mostly due to it being empty. So, good bye my fav server.
Even though you had your ups and downs, ill miss you. And i beleive this to be a sign. This may be the moment that i truly give up playing tf2.... ive been debating uninstalling it to prevent me from playing it. (Which honestly would be the healthy thing to do....)
Oh and, Star Trek online SUCKSSSSS..... it is the most slow, boring ass fucking mmorpg ive played, and this is coming from a guy who has the patience to enjoy Eve. Fuck, eve was amazing compared to this game. At least when i got into combat on eve my heart would race a bit cuz id be scared of dieing. Fuck you cant even die in the low levels on Star Trek online. Yould have to go afk, in combat, for 30 mins, and even then yould only have a chance of dieing due to support from npcs... but thats not the point. The later levels are the point right? Fuck... if i game cant be interesting the moment i pick it up then whats the point? And ive watched others play some of the higher levels, it offers no real fun... bah. Thank god it was only a 10 day trial... image what this paragraph would look like if i bought the game.

Torrent Day
Posted 15 years ago*Looks at the warning message on his taskbar, threatening to shut down in about an hour.*
Fuck that...
*Finds his XP cd.*
(Hehe i changed the clock on the daskbar to an earlier date to see if i can fuck with it. XD If i have to ill do it in the bios to and see what happens.)
In the mean time, ive got a guest pass to star trek online that im fixing to try out. And i am absolutely loving that they offer a torrent to download the client. Its actually nice being limited by my bandwidth instead of theirs. So im downloading it the fastest that i can. Computer shutting down every two hours will be a pain though.

Posted 16 years agoFurry Fiesta
Posted 16 years agoTwo reasons for this journal.
1 - Im def going to Furry Fiesta again this year.
2 - To get my previous journal off of my user page. XD
I dunno if i will actually get a table. I dont think i could stand to sit in one place for that long. But whether its in the artist alley, or at a table in the game room. Im def gonna sit down for a minute or two to doodle on my laptop and/or sketch pad. Ill probly bring my little usb monitor for a display so others can take a peek without peaking over my shoulder. (Which i have no idea why it irritates me... but it does.)
Commissions? Maybe.
Requests? Maybe.
I need to get off my lazy ass and mail in for my sales tax license thingy. Ive filled out the paperwork online, i just need to mail my signature..... soon. Probly this weekend. I dont really intend to sell things. I dont think ill even take comissions. But id still like to have one so i can if i feel like it. ^^
So if your going, look for me. Ill either wear my "Vash the Stampede" jacket again... (Omg i lost my glasses last year and had to go up to the stage during ceremonies to claim them.... embarrassing.) But more than likely you will recognize me by my plastic back pack i will more than likely be lugging around. (One of those boblbee things, that sadly gets put as the standard backpack for crappy saturday morning sci-fi kids shows..... still a good back pack though.)

I fucking hate how hairy i am. I mean, im not some fucking bear type with enough hair to choke an elephant, but i have hair in places that seem... odd.
Along with the abundance of hair that covers my legs, and my hobit feet, i have an abundance of long hair that grows in my ass crack. This is by all means the number one reason i shave myself. Not to mention the crotch jungle that would make the zohan jealous.
But i find it absolutely disgusting. A dissatisfying bathroom experience is made double by the pain of pulling out hairs in the process. Did that make you gag a little, good, it makes me gag a little to. TBH i find that part of my body to be so fucking disgusting, despite the fact that its the same area i tend to have someone play with during sex. XD
So yah, i like shaving. Sadly i dont have that well shaven body that those sexy girly types have. Oh well, you may not get to stare at my ass, but ill still enjoy staring at yours.
Tips... Use a womans razor. I like those venus ones that are nice, big, flat, and have a lot of blades. Most mens razors tend to cut. Dove soap is awesome. Their regular, white bar, antibacterial soap just beats all soaps ive tried hands down. Finally, get one of those hand held shower head things. Unless you really enjoy leaning forward and spreading your cheeks for the shower head, or like having a squeky and slippery ass crack.
On a side note, beware rinse your tail hole with one of those shower heads with the head set to high pressure/massage.... well, not with it directly against it.... unless your into that kind of thing.

My Race of Dragons
Posted 16 years ago[TL;DR - Its a description of the race of dragons i belong to. If reading long char sheets while role playing is not your thing then....]
Im mostly writing this down as a frame of reference, and to potentially get a bit of crit on it. Which, when i originally was thinking it up in my shower sounded great, but now after a few episodes of farscape to spend the day away, my view on it has somewhat diminished.
I probly should have written it right after the shower.
Alright, so here is the story behind my particular race of dragons. Which ive yet to come up with a name. Whatever i do come up with, i want it to be cute, but powerful at the same time. And damn, for some reason its really hard to get this description into words. Sounded much better in my head.
(Insert Name) has its origins from a breed of faerie dragons the inhabit a very particular tree. The tree itself can grow to a absolutely massive size. While its height can be daunting, possibly surpassing small mountainsides, the true size of the tree comes from its outward spread. Almost becoming a forest of its own. But, thats the biggest they can be. These magical trees typically come in very varying sizes, the majority of which not much bigger than any normal tree, and some remain the size of a shrubbery.
The fascinating thing about these trees is their magical properties. Or, more specifically, their magical origin. Some believe that these trees dont have any biological origins, and instead are a manifestation of the magical energies come to life. This becomes very apparent when looking at their varying sizes. It seems the more magical energies within the surrounding area, the larger the tree. (Which, along with other reasons, is why you will often see one within the household of your local wizard.... bragging rights.)
Following this personification of magical energies, the tree itself often times takes different shapes and colors depending upon the type of magic within the area. Most common, the tree has braches that curve outwards and about each other that hold many large leaves and dangles a swamps worth of vines, that bare rather delicious, and often purple fruit in sort of a grape like fashion. The fruit itself being the main attraction for these trees for most magical folk, as the magical energies they can bestow can be very useful.
But the tree itself is not the only living thing that manifests from these magical energies. In fact, it seems there are many symbiotic creatures that live amongst it branches, usually feeding off of the magical fruits the tree bares, or then feeding off of each other.
Which brings us to the puzzling thing about this odd magical mish mash of life. Much like the tree itself, the creatures that spawn from, because, or around it; also vary in size. Usually, directly corresponding with the size of the tree. Almost as if the tree is a world of its own, and as the tree grows larger, so does everything within it. (Which is another reason yould rather have a large tree instead of a small one, bigger fruit.)
The breed of faerie dragon in question, is no stranger to this mystery as well. Which actually corresponds with why they are traditionally considered to be the smaller cousin of the dragon, simply because they are most often seen as very small. (And for most beginning wizards who just planted their first tree.... tiny.) With a breed of dragon most commonly seen the size of your average bird, its hard to believe that they are the ancestors to the breed of dragon we are discussing here today.
Well, as the creatures within the tree, and possibly the tree itself, grow larger, they often times become more and more intelligent. These dragons in particular, becoming rather intellectual, about the time that they start to reach the size of a horse. And thus, about that time they are usually quite curious about the outside world.
Thus, (insert name) was born. They are the dragons who parted from the tree. Ending their symbiotic nature with it, and thus joining the outside world, instead of the world of the tree. Many of which, joining along their dragon brethren to spread their numbers.
(Yet, there are still some ancients of the breed, those who never parted from their tree, becoming ancient and giant protectors of these magical world.)
Now, while this breed of dragon is rare, they are rather easily identifiable. (As well as their traits that have passed to other dragons.) Because they are not a true breed of dragon, their anatomy is slightly different. Their overall look is almost more bird like.... well if a bird had four legs instead of two. However, their muzzle, despite still being a muzzle, still has a rather beak like look to it. The males have a plume of feathers adorning their head that can be slightly manipulated, like a fascial expression. And both male and female, have a mane of feathers that run down their neck, along their back, and ending about a third of the way down the tail. Their wings are rather bird like. While resting they allow them to wrap around their upper body as much as their legs will permit. Finally, the color of the feathers usually match that of the color of the fruit of the tree they originated from. Since the majority of these trees have purple fruit, purple feathers are a distinguishing feature.
Both their front and back paws are designed for grasping. The front having three fingers and a thumb, and their back feet varry slightly. The purest of the breed often have three toes, and a sort of backwards jutting toe, which allows them to grasp a branch much like a bird does. However, possibly due to breeding with common dragons, many of the breed tend to just have four forward facing toes.
Often their scales are a earthy shade of green, to help match with the leaves and vines. And their belly is usually a shade of light brown. These colors, along with the colors of their wings matching the fruit, is brilliant camouflage for this rather docile creature. (If they remained in the tree anyways.)
Most of the rest of the anatomy varies slightly. Much like how each individual tree is unique, the creatures that come from it can have their unique qualities as well. Double this with a lose of purity, due to breeding with other dragons, their is no single look that these dragons must possess.
Finally, their behaviour, like most intelligent creatures, is rather random. However, most are a rather docile breed of dragon. Which most likely comes from their ancestry, as the faerie dragon they originate from, was a very docile and friendly magical creature. Usually feeding off of the fruits that the tree bares, and rarely feeding from any of the other creatures. Usually only partaking in odd foods when presented with it.
Whether you meet the large dragons in question, or find one of their little ancestors, you will most likely find a cute, curious, and friendly creature. Especially if you have any food or trinkets yould like to share with them.

Winners - TF2 Contest
Posted 16 years agoFree Art/Spray - TF2 Contest
Posted 16 years agoPlease read the Tips on how to play a medic successfully at the bottom.
This is a gaming contest where two winners win a picture from me. This picture will then be converted into a spray if they so choose. The picture can either be adult, or not, and doesnt have to have a TF2 reference to it.
The object of the contest is simple, uber or krtis me in game, and you get a raffle ticket for every time you uber me. Tomorrow, or at the end of the day, ill gather up all the raffle entries, assign them numbers for each time they ubered me, and use a random number generator to select two winners. (Its kinda like getting a raffle ticket for every uber i receive. So the more times you uber me, the more chances you have to win.)
I will create raffle tickets by taking a screen shot every time im ubered/krits. If i have more than one medic on me during the uber, i will take a screenshot of the score board, and every medic on my team on it, gets another ticket. (However, more than one medic on a guy at a time, especially during an uber is well... stupid.)
The servers i will be playing on are the first two The Furry Pound servers. The one i will first be entering is Furry Pound #1 - 65.164.172.85:27015 since it has open slots.
After that, if the server crashes, or gets to full, i may jump to #2 and then to #4.
Finally, if i feel im crowding the server, or people start getting bitchy. I will move our fun over to the feared gamers server. Which usually resides empty this day and age. Its a 32 man all talk server, so its meant for fun, not competition. This server does not allow adult sprays so if i do move there, do not spray them.
Server List
TFP #1 - 65.164.172.85:27015
TFP #2 - 65.164.172.85:27016
TFP #4 - 67.209.178.30:27041

Tips on How To Play a Medic.
Double Healing -
If a medic is already healing someone, do not heal the same person. This dramatically reduces your uber charge rate. I am not kidding about this, you will charge slower healing someone already being healed. So dont double up unless your healing damage.
Heal the Wounded -
Healing hurt players charges your uber faster. So dont keep it on the same guy all the time.
Heal those not fighting -
If the guy your healing just keeps jumping out there, stop healing him. I know it sounds rude, and often the guy will bitch, but you are much more effective healing someone who hasnt taken damage recently. So turn around, and heal the other guy whos calling medic.
Keep Them Buffed -
I highly suggest having the auto call on and setting it to a very high value like in the 90s. Keep your team mates at full health. Switch between them as often as possible, to make sure they all have max buff.
Sentrys -
Unless its a scout, you run faster than your ubered teammate. You take the exact same damage as him from a sentry while ubered.... none. Run in front of your team mate, distract the sentry, so he can get an unobstructed shot at it.
Pyros -
Same as sentrys, distract the pyro. Unless your team mate is stupid and doesnt aim for him first, you will help your team mate avoid missing.
Blutsauger -
Dont use it unless you have team mates who constantly die and leave you to die. In which case, you are to close to the front lines anyways. In other words... use the normal needle gun you idiot. Your auto heal can practically have you survive pyro burn.
UberSaw -
There are only two situations this weapon comes in handy. The first is gaining an uber from spys. But your needles do more damage in the same amount of time. So, do you want to kill him or get uber from him? The second is very situational. You have 75% charge, and a pyro or heavy just dropped out of no where and is in melee range. If your fast enough, can circle strafe, get the melee in and quickly switch back to uber cannon and uber yourself. This can save you. If he is not in melee range, then run damnit.
Jump -
If a soldier, demo is shooting at you, jump and zig zag. You travel up faster than your walking speed so it can help get you further out of the radius. It also helps by giving you mini rocket jumps if your strafing to the side while doing it, which can help you avoid conesecutive shots.
Zig Zag -
Running backwards does not make you a harder target to hit, only a slowly growing smaller one. Zig zag to avoid damage.
Uber Train -
If there is more than one medic on your team, often times waiting for both of you to have an uber can be very usefull. Especially if one of you has the kritz.
Leave them to die -
They may bitch, but if the enemy is focused on your team mate, and you judge the situation to be a loosing one... run away. Find your team mates, and not just one, cuz if its just one, you may just rinse and repeat. You are much more usefull alive for the 10 seconds it takes you to spawn.
Prolonging an uber -
Something to do on rare occasions. Honestly, dont do it unless you know what your doing. Situations like this call for it. A pyro is airblasting your uber, but not yourself, switch to saw, hit him. Gain that lost uber back. If your team mate dies... run. Get more team mates. It should never be just your and your uber going in, your entire team should be.
Use ubers to save lives -
Ubers put out flames. Its a good pyro defense. Uber the one the pyro is focused on, then afterwards, switch to each person who got flamed to put them out. Dont be afraid that your wasting an uber, you can get another.
Dont hold onto ubers -
Unless you have a plan, dont hold onto an uber. If your a good medic you will get another one soon enough anyways. Just use it to help your team mates out all the time.
Well thats it for the fun tips. Im sure ill think of more later but there you go. Have fun everyone.

Free Spray - TF2 Contest
Posted 16 years agoI will do two free sprays so that means two winners.
To win is simple. Simply uber or kritz me later on tonight on one of the furry pound servers and I will enter your name into the raffle.
Every time you uber me I you will get another raffle ticket, so the more you uber me, the more chances you have to win.
I will do this by taking a screen shot every timr I get ubered so I see your name. If it ever gets to confusing, more than one medic at a time, then I will take a screenshot of the scoreboard each time instead. And will then enter each medic on the board on my team.
Tomorrow, I will take all the raffles, assign them numbers, and use a random number generator to draw winners.
Winners get a pinup of their char, with or without tf2 reference which I can convert into a spray. The picture can be adult if the winner wants.
I will start playing once I get home today around five central time.

Damnit, I bought one.

I really shouldnt be spending this kind of money. With bill collectors breathing down my neck, spending cash on a product thats not really necessary is a bit... much.
But i couldnt help it. I kept thinking up new ways to use it. The primary one, and funnest one is to have a display people can view while i draw on my netbook. That would be awesome for cons. And it would also be a nice way of organizing the tool bars while using my tablet PC. Hell, even for my main PC, i keep thinking about watching movies with it, using it for chat programs while i draw fullscreen. Keeping messengers open while i play vidja games. And i know what your thinking, why the fuck dont i just buy a cheap, small monitor for basically the same price, especially when those monitors will be twice the size?
Portability. Sure i can use any monitor on my netbook, tablet, or main PC. But i will always have to plug it in to the jack, plug in the VGA, and then im very limited. This is the ultimate in portable monitors. Hell, one big question for me, is what eats up more battery life? The USB monitor, or the built in one?
Dear god, i could be spending this money buying comissions, getting a sex toy, or getting myself a new video game. But damnit, even if i never use it, this little bastard is one of the most useful little gadgets i can think of.
Now, if i can buy a tiny monitor for under 50 bucks from a respectable website i would. Even if it didnt run on usb. But they dont. So its tiny, its nich... but its awesome. Hears to hoping i dont regret it late.
